First time to the salon. It takes me a lot to trust people with my hair due to so many bad experiences. I took a chance because a friend of mines hair was just simply amazing. My hair was fried from previous over processing on my hair. I had stopped using a local hair dresser and started to dye my own hair mainly the roots just because my ends were so bad. I went in with an open mind because I knew my hair was not healthy. Well Brittany really was very professional and honest on what she could do and not do on my hair. I was skeptical to go short but I absolutely love it. Brittany was aware I was scared to go short since the picture I showed her was shorter in length than she actually left my hair but honestly I am happy she didn't go shorter as I am used to longer than shoulder hair. My hair isn't 100% healthy but it sure is better than it was thanks to Brittany. Can't wait to go back. read more

Pleased with hair stylist but had to cancel because of Covid, teeth, flu and surgery and the owner called and left a message that I could never go there for cancellation reasons....tried several times to call in the mornings and message clicks off and does not take messages to cancel (very unprofessional) and sent emails but they told me they never check them. I am a 75 year old woman with health issues and now I am put on the "naughty corner"....unbelievable....don't think they read these reviews either....oh well. read more

I had such a terrible experience at this place. I booked my appointment one month in advanced with monika G. My hair is currently platinum blonde and I've been blonde for over 2 years now. I just moved from California so finding a hairstylist here in Arizona was going to take time and research, therefore my roots grew a bit long (4 inches), also my roots are pretty dark , but my hairstylist back home never seemed to have a problem getting my dark root to platinum . Anyways , when I came across Monika's Instagram I noticed she had experience with platinum hair so I was excited. The salon itself was gorgeous , and monika herself seemed very professional so I wasn't afraid to trust her. (Worst mistake of my life) When I first sat in the chair she said my root was too long , and because it's too long I was going to have a streak of brown ??? I explained to her , that my hair stylist back home would literally leave the bleach on for an hour and never EVER left a streak of brown and her response was "well I don't have an hour, I have other clients" . I should of ran for my life as soon as she said that . Anyways, long story short , after she applied olaplex to my roots and washed my hair, she didn't have the courtesy to blow dry me nor style my hair , I literally left the saloon looking like a wet dog . And my roots did not match my hair. I had orange roots with a platinum blonde on the bottom . And she charged me a total of $140. I am not bashing on this salon , I just think I chose the wrong hairstylist for the type of hair I have . read more

This place is gorgeous! Everything from the decor to the music was perfect. I'm so used to sitting in super uncomfortable salon chairs and having trouble being relaxed while getting my hair done... Not here! I came in for a wash, blow dry and style with Antaneisha and she did amazing! I love her and her personality and I love what she does for my hair. My hair had been super dry, and super flakey and nothing I was doing fixed it. She fixed me up in about 40 minutes flat. I have had a love-hate relationship with my hair for years and I've seen the same stylist forever. I had a few pretty rough haircuts so my friend told me I had to stop complaining and try Blush Salon. I'm so happy I did! Megan is a hair goddess. If you have curly hair, you have to see Megan! She explained my cut the whole time and asked me about my hair goals. Since that first hair cut, I have done a set of highlights and lowlights with her. Everyone comments to me about my hair saying it's never looked healthier. The salon is beautiful. However, my color faded within two weeks, not all of my grey was covered I noticed when I got home and my cut was a choppy mess. I have curly hair and specifically asked for something that could be worn either straight or curly. I should have left feeling great about myself. I came home and cried while I dried my hair myself. Super disappointed in this place. I loved my stylist and booked her for myself and my sister for the day of my wedding along with 2 other stylists for my mom and maid of honor. These were booked in April. I had received a call to let me know my stylist was not longer there and rescheduled my toner with Cierra (she is so sweet and did a great job!). I asked about the wedding date and they did not have anyone to fill in for my stylist. I figured we can move people around and have my mom and I take over the other 2 stylists after my sisters decided they can do their own. When I called back, I was told the other two stylists (Monica and Alonnah) were no longer there either. No call about them being gone, nothing, and this was 6 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! The only offer I had was to try to get someone in. I get doing what you need to for your business but for something that was booked in April with no communication on half of the appointments is ridiculous. Going to be honest, cierra was amazing and super nice and I understand she was new but she didn't tell me what the price was going to be until the people in the front checked me out. First of all, I paid a deposit a week before the appointment that was $50... And the lady in the front tried to get me to pay the money without the deposit... So I made sure that she took the deposit off, but the end total turned out to be $256 for a balayage which I was assuming to be around 150 assuming that I paid a $50 deposit... Don't get me wrong my hair looks good I'm not super upset about it but I don't think that the price is worth it... I feel like the reason the price was so high is because I was gettinf products put in my hair that maybe was a higher price.. if you go to a lot of other hair salons The price for a balayage turns out to be 150 to 200... I don't know if I'm living in a different era or not but that's how much I have paid for balayage in the past (which wasn't too long ago) And usually whenever I paid that much it also came with a cut and texturizing, but this session I only got my hair colored and got bangs, that's it. And I wound up paying 280.. I don't know if I'm over reacting but that's a little much.. the people here were very nice but I didn't think the price was worth it at all. I also feel that had I been told a price a week before the appointment I would've chosen another place to go...overall this place is a money pit.. beautiful place but I feel like you're paying for the "aesthetic" read more

I have been going to Blush for 3 years now and I am so happy to have found my person that I have trusted with my hair. I started just going for hair cuts with Ahlonnah but I would come back because I loved how she would cut my hair. Later down the line I decided I wanted to color and highlight my hair for the first time. With just one appointment I fell in love with what Ahlonnah did with my hair. For my first time coloring and highlighting my hair I was worried about the health of my hair, but it has remained healthy and continues to be healthy after the many appointments I've had to maintain my highlights and color. Jenyle did a more than amazing job on my hair . I have dark hair and I had some else do a balayage on it a while ago and it came out soooo bad. Brassy and chunky I hated it. I came in hoping to just get it fixed a bit. Jenyle blended out all the harsh lines I had been left with, got me lots of dimension and got the color corrected in my hair; way better than I had expected. When I came in I showed her two pictures of how I eventually want my hair since it can take a few sessions with dark hair. I specifically went to Blush for a specific hair stylist who was absolutely amazing. I would fly out from Washington, D.C. to get my hair done from this stylist as her work was excellent and she was the only person I trusted with my hair. My appointment was recently canceled last minute by the salon, not the stylist- Less than a 24 hour notice ( I received a voicemail from the salon after already landing in Arizona). I called to receive my formula from the salon and they refused to give me the formula claiming it wasn't in the system. I am appalled with how this salon treats employees as well as clients. I have referred many friends and family to this stylist at this salon and business will now be taken elsewhere. read more

IDo Not Use This Salon! I went in for a color service. My hair was blonde. I came out with the most horrible purple ash color and a very bad cut. I called the stylist the next morning and she asked me to come back the next day so she could fix it. The next service only made my hair worse! My light blonde is now a horrible red and dark!!! I made an appointment to get my haircut short and came in to be told the stylist didn't feel comfortable cutting it. That resulted in me having to reschedule and comeback another day. It's a bit odd that a hairstylist wasn't trained to cut short hair. The second stylist I got cut my hair the way I wanted it and I do enjoy it! She was very nice and I would totally give her 5 stars. The haircut ended up costing me $50 even though I skipped on the wash and only got it cut. Nothing else. I did like the hairstylist I ended up getting however sadly I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Shamika fixed my hair crisis! I had a beauty school student cut and color my hair, to try and save a few bucks (had a bad feeling about that, but figured it was worth a shot). The color was fine but she butchered my poor hair. It was a terrible cut, shorter than I wanted, no style or dimension whatsoever, and I couldn't style it at all when I tried. I felt hideous, and I had a maternity photo shoot a couple days later, so I was really upset. I gave Shamika a try for the first time, and she didn't let me down! She fixed my bad cut, evened out all the problem areas and even styled it really well so it would still be cute for the photo shoot the next day. ***EXTRA BONUS: She made time for me to come in the following day (some places make you wait much longer for an appointment with a specific stylist. I am new to town, so of course I was looking for a new salon. I decided to go to whatever salon had two openings that day, for my boyfriend and I. They were slow that day, we went into see Gina. I am very picky about my hair. I have only had one person actually give me a hair cut I was happy about. I told Gina kind of what I wanted and to play with it how she saw fit. My boyfriend had no idea what he wanted. Gina did a fabulous job on both of our hair!! We were so happy when we left, she gave us good conversation, very friendly, and a great hair cut. I hardly ever give a place 5 stars, but I loved the décor, the level of comfort they supply, and of course Gina and our fabulous hair. PS they also sold us a product, not tested on animals and it does actually help style our hair. read more
