first time here and i have to say i had an amazing experience! the ambience was very lovely, the place had a chic vibe to it, and everyone was very nice and friendly. kilana did a color correction on my hair--i have natural dark hair and what i asked for required my hair to be lightened. fortunately, my hair was able to lift really well (i was surprised cause that's not always the case for everyone). not only was kilana extremely thorough throughout the whole process (she layered a lot of foil and made very small sections-- very time consuming but worth it), but her blending is impeccable! most importantly i appreciated her transparency with me through the whole experience, she really wanted to make sure i was completed satisfied with her work and i left very happy and confident! she gave me the gorgeous icy, ashy blonde hair i never knew i wanted this is definitely a 10/10 in my book and i will be coming back ‍ a quick tip for anyone wants their hair colored, please come with references/pictures to make it easier for them to give you the most accurate look you want! thanks again! read more

Be careful, I called and schedule an appointment with Liz, I was not told what level of stylist I was getting, that was my bad. My first visit after the year long staying at home. The first visit I had color for my roots and cut with blow dry. I was given all kinds of coupons to use and scheduled a second visit and had my hair textured. I have very thick and lots of hair. I was also able to use coupons for this visit. On my third and last visit I had my hair textured again and root color but at this visit I was not able to use any coupons. Total of this visit $180.00 which was a sticker shock to me. So for this $180.00 was the worse hair cut and textured I have ever received. Now I have to deal with this waiting for my hair to grow out. read more

A friend of mine recommended this place and even though it was a little bit out of the way, I decided to try it. I called and was able to get an appointment that fit my schedule and was very pleased with the personable environment and all of the measures in place to keep us safe with Covid. There were minimal people in the salon to allow for social distancing and everyone was very friendly from scheduling to service to even providing products to keep my style looking fresh! Still one star. My review is not deceiving. It is my review of what transpired when attempting to actually offer my patronage. It was more than 24 hours, during the middle of the week, and the first reply I got was who is this. Replied back cordially, crickets for another 24 hours. I neither have the time or patience for such nonsense and never had to spin my wheels just to get a foot in the door. Also, when I did finally hear back, it was a text showing my review, asking if that was me!? Either they are all liars or these people do Not know their products. Either way that being said No one should go there for any services they provide. The owner is not knowledgeable about how to run a business or any of her own products she sells. I guess they give business licenses to just about anyone these days. I received K-Tip extensions by Lily who stated that they were 100% safe/natural. What I didn't know was she was uneducated. Their website states put in by "Master Stylists", and K-tip Extensions lasting 3-5 months. Well after only 3 short weeks I was living in hell, with the worst allergic reaction of my life. Of course they claimed they didn't do anything wrong, and refused a refund. As a matter of fact the manager hung up the phone on me after she stated, "my attorney advised me to cease all communication". What a joke am I right. Well my credit card company saw their neglect. I filed with the BBB among others. Don't waste your money on this salon. I really hope they get Karma knocking at their door and soon. read more

My daughter had an appt @10am we got to the appt desk at 10:09. The front desk tells us they can't see us because we were 10 min late, I said we are one minute before the 10 minutes and they said yeah but that cuts into the next appt and I said I understand but we made it within their time frame and they refused to see us. Unfortunately, this is not to rate their service or quality but to comment on the "request an appointment" "replies in about 40 mins with 95% response rate" I thought this place would be perfect since they offered hair and eyelash services. It was also convenient. I messaged them a few weeks ago asking if they take walk ins and to request pricing information. The info section says "Walk-ins Welcome" but I wanted a confirmation or maybe to even set up an appointment. I messaged them around 130pm on a Saturday. They close at 5pm... so that should be sufficient time to respond? But I didn't get a response from them. It's been about a few weeks, so that response rate is inaccurate. This was my first time going to blush salon and it was a great experience. I was in NEED of a haircut and they were able to get me in the same day I called. I have naturally curly hair and always get nervous going to new salons because I have had my hair botched before. I have never in my life felt the need to leave a bad review like this, but I guess there is a first time for everything. My experience with Blush Salon was absolutely awful. After seeing their Instagram posts constantly and seeing their name pop up a few times, I decided to get my hair done. I knew it was a higher end, more expensive salon but I figured they were balayage experts like their Instagram claims so it would be worth it. Absolutely not true. The start of my appointment began with me showing the stylist pictures of HER OWN work to demonstrate what I wanted. Me not being a hairstylist, a picture would be much easier to reference. But the stylist consistently threw hair stylists terms at me thinking I knew what they meant. I asked for a light brown, blonde balayage. My hair was a brown/faded red color. The process begins and I should have known it would be bad when a client next to me was getting her hair fixed by another stylist because hers turned out BLUE. After spending 3 hours in the salon for a blonde balayage, my hair turns out BLACK on top and on my straight across bangs while the rest is a gold brassy blonde with absolutely no dimension. There are harsh lines, colors did not blend, and again I could not comprehend how my hair turned out BLACK when I asked for blonde. Then the stylist uses an insanely bright light to take the after picture, which looks NOTHING like my actual hair. Now the instagram pictures make sense- the light makes the hair appear perfect. I leave the salon and try to make my hair work for 2 days, when I reach out to the stylist she blames the entire thing on me and states that I asked for a "root color". The owner would not contact me via phone or email after I reached out and only messaged me via instagram messenger. Extremely unprofessional. The only solution she would offer was to have another stylist at the salon fix my hair. After paying $240 for my hair to turn out completely opposite of what I wanted, I decided against this option. I understand time was used, so I only asked for 3/4 or 1/2 of my money back considering this was my first ever experience at Blush. She would not compromise, was very unprofessional, and did not care about the concern of her customer. I wish I would have called a friend of mine before the appointment, because come to find out she has had plenty of clients that have had horrible experiences just like mine at this salon. Do NOT go to Blush Salon. Do NOT trust the pictures taken with a Halo ring light. Ridiculously overpriced for very amateur work. Unprofessional and rude customer service. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had with any salon or business. DO NOT GO TO BLUSH SALON. And as for the comment below this: I tipped that amount because I am not going to be cheap. My hair was styled at night, again I could not see the true result of my hair so I trusted the picture taken with the light. The next day when I saw my hair in person with natural daylight this is what I saw. Take a look for yourself and tell me if this is a "transition phase" or a plain mess up. Right off the bat when I questioned this stylist she was defensive and blamed me for her work. If this is such a hard transition, why is it that another stylist was able to fix it in 1 go and explained every single mistake the stylist at Blush made? And my hair came out absolutely perfect with beautiful blonde pieces? Again do not go here. Absolutely petty. And if you leave any sort of review that is less than perfect they will block you on everything. This business is a hot mess, their lack of professionalism is hilarious. See the pictures for yourself. The first and second show the two completely different colors. On the second you can see how my bangs are black and the rest is completely different. This is the best experience I have ever had in a salon. I saw Kilana. She took my hair from black to purple. Bright bright purple. It took her about 7 hours and she never complained. She was the sweetest person, she even hugged me goodbye. I'm not much of a talker and sometimes stylists can talk your ears off but not her. She was wonderful. Always made sure I was comfortable and she worked some gd MAGIC on my hair. I don't cut it or brush it or do anything with it, which makes it kind of hard to work with. Not to mention there is SO MUCH. I also was expecting high prices because a lot of reviews said it was pricey ... it was not pricey at all. The prices were average. Made an appointment do get my hair done, first when i made the appointment i suggested a consolation but the receptionist said it was not necessary. Arrived to get my hair done my Monika and first let me tell you i made this appointment 1 month out and took a day off of work. She was very hesitant to do my have and suggested someone else to do it and to made ANOTHER appointment for a consultation WHAT! If you are scared to do hair u should not b a hair stylist!
