Sooo good! I love BLVD. I went for Saturday Brunch. The food was amazing. The DJ came around 2pm. The service was good. Our food came out before our drinks. If you're looking for a restaurant in New York right next to the subway with amazing food and a good vibe I would highly recommend.

Wow!!!! This spot is so fire!!!! The vibe is phenomenal on a Saturday afternoon!!! DJ rocking the turntables & the Bartender Bo is the man!!! Great service & hospitality from the crew here! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. One of my new favorite spots in Harlem!! I will be back! The food menu looks excellent. The suggestions from two southern Queens sitting next to me at the bar looks delicious. I was told to try the southern dinner or the chicken and.

This food was on point you hear me. I ordered the jumbo shrimp and grits with bacon and cheese and butter on the grits. The grits was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was well seasoned and great tasting. Great portion of food. The service was okay. Sat at the bar . The bartender made a drink and he spilled it as he sat it down. Don't like to waste no contents at all especially cocktails . The sisterita drink was good considering some of it was spilled on the bar. Very nice place inside. Nice decor inside. I will definitely come back

Tried and true brunch spot. I love the steak, perfect medium char! And the ambiance is popping, this isn't gonna be a quiet brunch by any means lol. The Dj is loud and booming with R&B and old school Hip Hop. The service is a bit slow, but that's to be expected.

Went for happy hour before our reservation at another restaurant. Was busy with happy customers . We sat at the bar had cocktails and the Asian wings and they were very good . We would definitely come back and stay for dinner next time in town .

On Sunday May 17th Had reservations for 4pm my birthday party was on time we did not sit down until 4:50pm and we asked to be seated at a table in the back that was available for a large party and was told No, we would get something better upfront. We were seated upfront. Orders our meal . The manager Kevon came over and asked us to do HIM a favor can we give up our seats and go sit in the back so they can seat a party at our table. I was applaud and flabbergasted. We adamantly said NO we are not moving and he became abrasive. Where do managers act like this?? The audacity to treat us as if my celebration was not as important as another party after seating is an hour later and our food came out at 6:30 and mash potatoes were barely warm. It's unfortunate that a manager would represent this establishment in such away. I will not be returning and someone needs to the leadership and how to treat customers. We did not allow the horrible treatment to spoil our celebration. Happy 58th Birthday to ME . Don't let anyone steal your JOY.

This had to be my favorite brunch in the city! I mean 10/10 for real! From the service to the drinks to the food, I legit had no complaints at Blvd Bistro! I suggest ordering the white peach Bellini carafe and you absolutely must try the biscuits with gravy! You will lick that plate clean, I promise you! Make sure you come with a big appetite because you'll need to then split the French toast, eggs and wings with a friend because the portions are huge and way too good to not finish! I'm definitely coming back every single time I'm in town.

I came on a Sunday for brunch for the first time and I had a great time! My friends and I weren't a fan of the food and the cocktails we chose. Their steak, eggs and homefries dish wasn't good at all. My eggs had way too much parsley, the steak seemed wet and not seasoned good and was on top of the hash browns which made the potatoes really soggy and they also tasted very salty. Their biscuits are fluffy though! Thankfully it was cooked correctly, unlike my friend's plate she ordered medium rare and it came out brown! It was comped and she had the shrimp and grits which tasted way better! We had a great time for the sing along part which started more in the night. We had a mimosa at first and it was perfectly made! My second drink (The Bevy) was very strong but it's okay I didn't feel like complaining about it. The dj & hype woman I was great and kept the customers happy and singing! If I was to come back I would def. come back for pancakes and bacon lol and of course to sing my heart out!

Cheese grits, scrambled egg, fried catfish and a buttermilk biscuit. Drink (which was good) red sangria.

Came here last week for brunch. The food was ok. I had the catfish with cheese grits and a biscuit. Our waitress was really nice. The main issue I had is, I don't like establishments that has a time limit for tables. I don't like to feel like I'm being rushed, especially if I spending money. Another thing...the DJ that was there gotta quit singing along to every song. Brunch turned into Karaoke and I didn't order that. Other than that ,we had a nice time. Would I go back? Maybe.

Yeah of course you can but to be honest, for Sunday brunch especially you would have to book it about two weeks in advance. I, also, book it in the RESY app. That's your best bet. I have a reservation for three tomorrow but ironically I can't make… Read more

The bistro itself is very nicely lit. I almost felt like I was in a movie. I had the Turkish eggs and a side of Bourbon glazed bacon. The chili-drizzled poached eggs sat on a bed of yogurt nestled against triangles of thin flatbread. Very hearty and filling for someone who was on their feet all day. The bacon was such a treat. I was afraid they would be soggy from the glaze or a little too sweet but it was the absolute perfect balance of both. My friend tried out the chicken and waffles and I was almost jealous that I hadn't ordered that. After being given a piece to try, I can confidently say that the Belgian waffle had the nicest crispy exterior and a beautifully fluffy inside. The chicken was such a wonderful savory pairing to the not too sweet waffle. The iced coffee was a nice side pairing. The pumpkin spice flavor was the perfect amount of sweet without being overpowering. I will be returning soon!

My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. I would return to Friedman's when I'm in the Herald Square area, or check out one of their other locations in the city.

Sarge's ended up being the perfect alternative, just a quick five-minute walk from our hotel. We arrived around 5:00 pm on a Sunday and were seated right away, which already felt like a win. The meal started with coleslaw and both a half sour and full sour pickle--such a classic deli touch, and a great way to kick things off. I ordered the half sandwich with matzah ball soup, and the portion sizes were no joke. The soup alone could have been a full meal: a huge bowl with an equally massive matzah ball. The broth was warm and soothing, and the matzah ball was incredibly light with a perfect texture. The half pastrami on rye was just as impressive. Even "half" was stacked high with flavorful, tender pastrami. Adding a bit of mustard from the table brought everything together--it was simple, classic, and exactly what I was hoping for. Not only was it one of the more reasonably priced meals of the trip, but it was also genuinely satisfying.
