    Korean Steak Sandwich
    Melissa N.

This place has so many tempting options: the mac & cheese, pork belly bao buns, and birria tacos all caught my eye. I ended up choosing the Korean Steak Sandwich, loaded with steak, onions, peppers, jalapeños, American cheese, and soy mayo on a lightly toasted baguette. It's savory and super cheesy, kind of like a Philly cheesesteak with a Korean twist. And that bread?... Absolutely incredible. The sandwich came with a side of fries that were perfectly crispy. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The vibe is really lively, and I loved that they had the place nicely decorated for the holidays. It added a nice festive touch.

Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar, bartenders were great despite there being no water in the building. Burger and fries were good. I would give this another shot.

We went here for brunch and took advantage of their bottomless mimosa deal, which is definitely worth it. Our server was really nice and attentive, and the decor fits the playful theme of the name in a fun way. We started with the French toast bites, which were alright, but I'd probably try something different next time. For our entrees, we ordered the burger and the breakfast burrito, which both were pretty good, though the burrito portion could've been a bit bigger. The fries were honestly my favorite part of the meal. Overall, a solid brunch spot with good vibes.

Visited the horny ram on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. There is a bar on the main floor as well as dining seating upstairs. There is a good amount of seating and great service for a busy Saturday. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon, one of my favorite brunch dishes. I do recommend making a reservation as it gets quite busy.

As Austin Powers would say, do you find me horn... ooo look a Ram. This is the place you come when you are in that "I don't care... I LOVE IT" mood. It's never a bad time here. The name draws out a fun crowd with a sense of humor. The drinks are good and the bartenders are amazing. Megan was behind the bar... what a legend. Her ability to handle the entire bar by herself deserves praise. This has been a spot I have come to from my early 20s to my mid 30s. And here I thought I was done with this review. Boy was I wrong, they have ADULT CAPRISUN... in cocktail form... omg I just became a kid again... like Rugrats All Grown Up... they call it Poison Ivy... OMFG!!!!! LEGEND - wait for it -DAIRY!!!!!! Did I forget to mention it's on their happy hour which is weekdays from 3-7 & 10pm to close!!!

Amazing service - even when it was poppin on a Saturday for brunch. Got the eggs Benedict and a surfside. I had great company but the ambiance made it better! Well decorated for Halloween.

I came here on a double date for a gorgeous weekend Sunday brunch, so of course we sat outside- tables were small but cozy. Our waitress was so fun, friendly, accommodating and attentive. She helped us order the perfect suggestions. I had the chicken salad with a lemon vinaigrette and we ordered a side of pancakes which definitely lived up to the hype. We also did the boozy brunch with the Pink Pony Club cocktail which was delightful! Our waitress knew exactly when we needed a refill. It was such a great, memorable experience. My friend surprised us with the Apple Brioche Pudding for dessert and it was so good! It sure got rid of the Sunday Scaries! I can't wait to return!

The chicken and waffles sandwich is heavy but really good! We shared a side order of plain pancakes and they do live up to the online hype as well. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to come back and try some other things on the menu.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was packed!! We only got seating at the bar upstairs. I recommend a reservation for brunch instead of walk-in since I didn't anticipate how busy it would be. I got the chicken and waffles sandwich and it was great. The waffles were soft and the chicken was cooked great. The egg and avocado added good savory flavors. The fries were nice as well, typical restaurant fries. The ambiance for brunch was amazing. Definitely would consider bottomless mimosas next time. Overall, good stop in midtown east!

Burgers were cold, we waited a long time for and were not cooked as requested. Wanted to go here for along time, perhaps it's best for a cocktail. They were empty when we arrived and not much action for Happy Hour.

Garden of Heat-en, Drink Formerly Known As, and #HornyinNewYork.

While waiting for our dinner reservations, we popped into this lovely bar for a quick drink. It was quite busy on a weeknight, but bartenders were also quick to take our orders and provide any service. I ordered the Garden of Heat-en ($16) while my friends had the Drink Formerly Known As ($16) and #HornyinNewYork ($16). All three drinks were refreshing and colorful. All the ingredients were prevalent as we sipped the drinks. Great bar to meet with friends in the lively Midtown East area.

Do we have to show proof of vaccination upon entry?

No, you no longer have to show proof at restaurants

Do you still have bottomless mimosas?

Yes. Their website and phone message says so. Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Are you guys still doing bottomless drinks?

Yes. Their website and phone message says so. Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

I noticed that this establishment is listed at not good for kids. Curious if this is a restaurant preference or the opinion of other diners. Does "kid" mean under 18 or just small children? Mine are 8 & 13

I would say it's a personal opinion.. it's just a big brunch place from what I know so there tends to be a lot of drunk adults.

About how long will the wait be? I'm thinking of getting there around 10:40 to wait until they open at 11. Just will be two people.

You should be fine. It looks small but it's long so plenty of tables that seat only 2 plus the bar and outside seating

How late is the kitchen open?

    The kitchen closes at 1AM

Do they have bottomless brunch and if so what is the deal?

    $21 for 90 minutes. It's awesome.

Is there a DJ for brunch?

I don't think so. I've been there a few times for brunch and have never seen one.

Do they have vegan options or accommodate for vegan guests?

They accommodate, but the options are FEW!!!

Does everyone have to get the bottomless at a table? Or can only pne person get it?

I visited this establishment during the summer and everyone at my table was not required to get bottomless

Is the pancake burger only served during weekend brunch?

No, it's at least available Friday nights as well. The Donut Egg sandwich was only available during weekend brunch

Is there typically a long wait to be seated for brunch? Looking to go tomorrow, just want to know what to expect. Thanks!

We waited about an hour on a Sunday.

Are the games on during Sunday brunch and can I see them from a table?

Yes, and there are lots of TVs downstairs and upstairs.

We shared the lobster pasta entree. Tasted more like Mexican goulash. No Italian flavors to be found in the sauce. Never once did the nameless waiter stop and inquire about our meal. Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! I had a bite of each of theirs and they each ordered it differently (one Medium Rare/Medium and one Medium) and they both were prepared PERFECTLY. The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste. Value/Price: I would say this is not over priced but it is not cheap either...bill is attached. I would recommend it to folks who are looking for a good place to either go out on a date or a family type meal.

The buttermilk tenders is supposed to come with pickled shallots and marinated green beans. We didn't get the pickled shallots or the marinated green beans, which was a shame. The chicken tenders by themselves didn't have much flavor. It also is unfortunate paying $17 for what was considered a small plate and just getting the chicken tenders. The Asian-sesame wings were okay. Also, didn't have much flavor and weren't that impressive. There was also still hair on some of the pieces of chicken, so the chicken could have been cleaned better. They have fries and hand cut fries. The regular fries were soggy. Should have went with the hand cut fries. The tater tots were okay. I was told that the chicken sandwich was good. The bread was fluffy and not dry, which I had seen previous reviews say before. Paired with the creamy truffle butter, it had a luxurious mouthfeel. My favorite was the pork chop (cognac, sweet prunes, bacon, rosemary) -- the sweet and soft texture of the prune was melted in my mouth like fat, and the pork was tender, with the rosemary also coming through. The vodka rigatoni was a skip, somewhat bland and one-note, we ended up putting some of the truffle butter and garlic aioli from the fries to make it more flavorful. This was especially in contrast with the spicy shrimp pasta which was much tastier. Also got the strawberry vacherin (strawberry ice cream, meringue, vanilla whipped cream), it was my first time having this dessert. The tartness of the strawberry was great with the fluffy meringue and the sweet ice cream. Service was extremely attentive, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated with moody lighting. I went on a Thursday night, and the place was absolutely packed. The front feels more like a bar/casual area, while the dining room is tucked toward the back. My reservation was at 10:15 PM, so I actually had a light dinner beforehand and ordered a little lighter than I normally would. I got: - Truffle Monkey Bread ($34.99) - Prime Rib French Dip ($39.99) - Pommes Frites ($13.99) - Banana Split Sundae ($24.99) I thought the prices were definitely on the higher end when I first sat down, but the Truffle Monkey Bread is divine! Honestly, it's probably in my top 3 bread experiences of my life. If you love truffle, butter, cheese, and basically everything good in life, please get this. It comes out slightly warm and is just incredible. I will probably dream about this bread. The French Dip was good, although it was a little too salty for me. If I get the chance to come back, I'd probably try one of their actual steaks instead. The pommes frites were super crispy, basically McDonald's fries but elevated. The Banana Split Sundae was so pretty. I loved how they placed all the little treats around the crevices/imprints of the dish (not sure how else to describe it ). It's huge, though, so definitely don't expect to finish it yourself. I'd recommend sharing it with 3+ people. I was also celebrating an anniversary, and they brought out a strawberry scoop for us. It tasted homemade and really fresh. I could actually see pieces of strawberry in it, which I loved. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier side, and getting a dinner reservation can be a struggle, but I'd absolutely go again if I got the chance. The decor is cozy and upscale, the food was excellent, and the whole place has a really nice atmosphere. My only real complaint was that our waitress kept pushing us to order more, which got a little annoying, especially since we had already ordered quite a bit. Overall: expensive + difficult reservation, but absolutely worth trying. And please get the truffle monkey bread.

They have to let you in. I didn't have a reservation, but was seated immediately. Win! I really should've asked questions instead of going rogue. My intention was to do the lunch prix fixe menu. The menu on the table was a la carte. This did however work out better for me as I had limited time since I was catching a broadway show. Started with the olives then followed with the hot dogs and closed with the gem lettuce. They did come at different times. This gave me the perfect time to nibble slowly. The olives paired perfectly with the salad. The hot dogs were my favorite. The whole meal was perfectly balanced for me. Just have to mention how amazing the service was. No table had anything waiting to be taken away because there was always someone walking around. At one point, one of the guys clocked I had just finished drinking my water and within seconds he was at my table refilling my glass. I mean c'mon. Will took great care of me. He even suggested the dessert I ended up getting which was the peach cruller. I'm gonna try to come back to do the lunch tasting before I go back home to LA.

Bursting with flavor and the potatoes made for a nice variation of textures. Salmon with endive salad was also great. Salmon skin was cooked perfectly. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the corn gelato. Just didn't taste like much and the peaches I found didn't really play well with the dish for me. Overall though, service was top notch and you can't beat the upscale vibe. Would definitely recommend this for restaurant week experiences if you're looking to get a fine dining taste at a reduced cost. Portions felt reasonable for the quality and left full (far from bursting, but definitely not hungry at all).

The hostess was welcoming, our waitress was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and the support staff kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. We took several of our server's recommendations and were happy with every one. What we ordered: * Butter Service Garni * Dressed Big Rock Oysters * Yellowtail Crudo * Filet Mignon with Pommes Purée * Nutella Opéra Cake Everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the pommes purée were rich and incredibly smooth, and the Nutella Opéra Cake was the perfect way to end the meal. The only thing I'd mention is that the restrooms are located down a fairly long flight of stairs. If you're wearing heels, have a stroller, or have mobility limitations, it's something to be aware of. Overall, this was a fantastic experience with excellent food, attentive service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I'd gladly return and would recommend Quality Bistro to anyone looking for an upscale French dining experience.

We started with the kale salad (although it seemed more like spinach than kale), and it was still fresh and delicious. The tomato burrata was outstanding--definitely a must-order! I had the steak frites, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the French onion burger, and after trying a bite, I already know that's what I'll be ordering next time--it was incredible! The cocktails were made perfectly, and to finish, we shared the lemon ice cream cake. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet--the perfect ending to a great meal. Everything from the food to the drinks and exceptional service made this a wonderful dining experience. We had such a great time and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I was lead to this great spot for a late dinner and cocktails on a Friday night. The hostess was really friendly and quicky sat us at a two seater near the bar, which we appreciated. The ambiance was light and friendly and they even had a DJ playing all the good jams! I think I danced a bit, (definitely liquid courage). The DJ read the room and created a fun ambiance. The waitress came over a few minutes later and quickly took our drink and meal order. We ordered the Tuna Crispy Rice ( Yum), Guinness Wager Sliders (Nom Nom), Korean Chicken Boas (My Favorite!) and Carnitas Tacos.....I'm embarrassed to admit that we cleaned our plates like a couple of savages. Bartley Dunnes is a great choice to come solo, meet up with friends or come as a group of no more than 4, unless you make a reservation. They have a second floor that I unfortunately didn't get a chance to check out, so I can't write about that. However, I did see people coming and going straight up. I'll be back!

We sat at the bar, which runs about half the length of the space, and there were also plenty of tables throughout. The back section of the bar feels a bit separated from the main entrance area. There are some TVs throughout, and everything inside seemed fairly new and well maintained. It was not very crowded on a Tuesday early evening, so service was quick and the staff was very friendly. We did not order food this time, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot for happy hour drinks in the MoMA/Midtown West area.
