I just left this bar! I wouldn't recommend this place. The drinks are great. however, the bartender lost my bf's ID. I was trying to diffuse the situation. Trying to communicate with an intoxicated bartender. & she has her friends there & giving them FREE drinks. After the bartender started being rude for losing the ID. She magically found it. Her friends were being rude. Trying to argue with me a paying customer. & of course i am human i felt harassed & the need to defend myself against another customer (who was the bartenders friend). This place is very unprofessional. The bartender was all over 2 guys, lost the a customer'a ID, then the bartender's friends try to instigate a fight between the bartender & I. The bartender's friend was being racist on top of that trying to talk shit on my cousin (who is mixed with Caucasian, & looks full caucasian however she's mixed with Latina) & calling her a stupid white girl in Spanish. She was surprised when my cousin responded in Spanish right back defending herself. The bartender magically found his ID & said "don't ever come back". I am so appalled of the customer service provided but this bartender. I felt victimized. My bf went back to apologized & spoke to the manager trying to diffuse the situation & he was told by the manager "well I'm with my family". Umm hello, you own a business, the holidays are over. There is no excuse for your unprofessional staff. But I'm sure the the BBB (Better business bureau) would like to know on how this business DOES NOT CARD UNDER ANYONE ON THE NIGHT SHIFT HOURS ON THE WEEKENDS). I would advise not to come here! Sometimes the good deals are not worth the mistreatment you will experience here by the day time drunk bartender. Just saw the review from the owner. Let me clarify since i was very upset when i wrote this. The bartenders friends was the one being racist. Not the bartender. AGAIN NOT THE BARTENDER. I will apologize for that. & i did not once ask for any free drinks & was not rude at all. I literally was sympathizing with the bartender because people do make mistakes. I repeatedly kept telling her it's okay we just try to retrace your steps & she was scared to get fired. I dont ever want anyone to get fired over a simple mistake. I even remembered she mentioned that her boss has cameras & i asked her to ask her boss so we can resolve this. In all this time. I had not raised my voice nor was I being rude. & when i did hear the only one person within my party trying to be rude. I told her something. Because no one deserves to be disrespected. I don't agree with the behavior of the one person in my group. As to why I was trying to leave. But i bet you miss that in your videos. However, while this was going on the bartenders friend was trying to add fuel to the fire by saying she(meaning the only intoxicated person in the group) is saying this & that. That's when i got upset with her friend & felt the need to defend myself & she was trying to say something slick in Spanish about my cousin who does not look Hispanic at all & my cousin also was trying to diffuse the situation but defended herself in Spanish to clearly let her know. She understood everything that was said. & yes you're right Maria did offer to pay after he went to the DMV & brought back a receipt. Come on who really wants to do that. As to why I was trying to talk to the bartender to remember her footsteps. We were trying to avoid filing a police report if the ID could not be found. Because that would of been worse to go down that route. & the bartender MARIA was NOT really sober. & after all of this, she tells me I'm not welcomed back. Because i got into it with her friend. How professional is that. I completely understand that the behavior of one intoxicated person was not right(& i was telling the intoxicated person to stop & made her go outside) but to allow her friend to try to harass us & for Maria to kick us out is rude. So please don't sit here & try to imply that we were all drunk & they my bf apologized for all of our behaviors. He was apologizing for one behavior & didn't understand why your bartender spoke in Spanish to him. He clearly doesn't know Spanish & he felt as if she was doing this on purpose & she could have been making remarks about him in Spanish. However, being the gentleman that he is. I've been coming here for over a year now. It is not my local bar but I drive from Long Beach to Paramount to meet with friends. Super welcoming staff and the people you meet there become family! Definitely a dive bar for the locals. It's not in the best area, but their was no cover and good parking. They have a pool table and karaoke which makes for a fun night of entertainment. My drinks were super affordable, only about $4, and the lady bartender was very nice. Their is a minimum of $10 to use your card at the bar, so keep that in mind. read more

Ok so first off I had a bad experience here 1 time of the several times that I've been there. Now I left a bad review when that happened and was extremely upset over a guy that was causing problems in the bar. Now I was mostly upset cause he wasn't thrown out because it was assumed he was the owners friend. Now the owners have reached out to me to clear things up and this guy was left over trash from the old bar owner. I have a whole lot of respect for the new owners to reach out to be and make things right. Now on to the bar, it's super clean and in a great location. Its average priced and has all type of bottles. First off me and my wife love this place and frequently recommend it to others. The owners (married couple) came up to me and thanked me for our business and said he loved customers like us who are always respectful and bring others. BUT last night some dude wanted to TRY to be a tuff guy after he was politely turned down on his obvious advances on my buddies wife. Prior to that my wife was uncomfortable and asked me to take her home because of this guy (Johnathan). When I came back I had to try to play peacemaker to prevent this guy (who was by his self) from getting stomped out because our group was about 8 guys. The bartender was not rude about it but actually admitted that she saw him start eveything HOWEVER! asked us to leave????? The bartender treated me and my friend bad because she had preferences with two other girls that were prior customers and since we were new she litterly kicked us out the place. Yep, it's definitely a Dive Bar but it's a homey, friendly and accommodating dive bar so, there's that. They offer a full service bar. The bartender and The owners are very friendly and attentive. While other so called "bars" we're closed at 12:30am we finally came across BLVD. Cocktails Which was still open like a bar should be at 12 or 1am. Me and 3 buddies arrived on a Thursday night and there were only maybe 2 or 3 men. In other words it was a slow night. We came in, we ordered a couple beers which I thought were rightfully priced at 4-6 dollars depending what kind. They have a pool table which we took advantage off. 1 dollar per game but no biggie, what I really liked was their juke box!!!! This one was one of a kind. Why??? Because it was updated with the latest songs. I've seen other juke boxes that only have old songs and don't have all the new hits. The bartender was a young women I think her name was Maria she introduced herself to us. maybe she's the owner I don't know or maybe I don't remember. She was really nice and very attentive. There was also another man behind the counter maybe her husband??? Real chill dude! If they are the owners it is nice to see they are involved in the business. When 1:40am came she notified us "last call" which we did order more drinks. Only problem was that at 1:45 we needed another drink. Yeah we were thinking she would not sell us anymore. But we still asked and she did! Yay! We finished our last drink and walked out peacefully! Unfortunately we live about a 25 minute drive from this place if not we would frequent it often.
