We went on a quick trip to Las Vegas and looked up a nice restaurant in Henderson, NV. This restaurant came well rated and we decided to take a look. The ambience was nice and cozy, and not stuffy. There was a large bar where you can play casino games. For appetizers, we ordered the onion rings that came as string onion rings which was good (but a tad too much salt). We also had the shrimp and crab dip that was delicious with the accompanying bread. We then had the following delicious entrees (steak salad, herb crusted salmon, and chicken parmesan). Five of us decided to try this place for the first time for lunch. The food was good, the atmosphere relaxing, the service excellent. We came for dinner sorta late Friday night and low key I got a little nervous by the outside and the refrendes to gaming and live music and quickly checked Yelp to see if it's kid friendly. I'm SO glad I saw a review saying it was. There seems to be ample parking in the back of the building. We walked around the front and we were immediately greeted by friendly staff. We were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and a mix of nice looking booths and tables. We were sat at a table and offered a high chair, which I then saw roll past us and it was wiped down before making its way back over. I was immediately impressed because in my ten years as a parent (and even 35 years being a big sister) I don't think I've really seen that before. Our waiter was very attentive from the very start with water offered right away and kind enough to get a plastic cup for the baby. A nice beer was recommended as well. We started with the cheese burger egg rolls which were quite good. I had the wedge salad and the BLT, which is served with delicious fries. I'd deduct like an eighth of a star because I don't like that it isn't made with seguía but that's a very minor thing. We also ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly and the burger. They did not have any printed children's menu but when I asked if they had something simple like grilled chicken for the baby the waiter said they could accommodate that. The price was really good and I was quite happy with the overall experience. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely be back. read more

This was honestly one of the best places we have eaten, the cheeseburger eggrolls, cheeseburger, calm chowder, AND their peach cobbler was AMAZING!!!!! We have never had such amazing food and service. Their pricing is amazing. Their lunch special 12 dollars for 1/2 soup and sandwich. They make their own soups, sauces, etc.... The GM of the restaurant constantly was checking in on guest and seeing how everyone is doing. She was wonderful. I stopped in at a time that's not usually busy. Ambience was relaxed and in not intimidating . The service and food were great. I had the ribeye, asparagus and mashed potatoes had great flavors that added to the meal instead of overpowering. The even had free Wi-Fi and let me take a booth on my own to study. This place is very cute! We had the lunch special which I think was 2 or 3 items for $12 or something like that. Parking is open and easy. The food was good with the brussel sprouts being a stand out. I had pasta with shrimp, which was a little light on the shrimp, but still tasty. Our server was really great. The table was slippery, and I accidentally spilled the drink and broke the glass. He was super great about it and didn't charge me for the glass. We made sure he got a very nice tip. I learned about this place from my long time friend Bob W, when we had a business meeting. I've been there a few other times when they WERE on the Blvd. I also learned they had the BEST PIZZA in the greater Las Vegas area and all the times I dined there were for the. . . PIZZA! So for my future across state road trips on the 15, going an extra 20 miles off my path is questionable, unless it's for another special meeting. Went on a motorcycle ride with some buddies today and found this gem in Henderson. The place is super cool and the staff are awesome. Claudia was our server and she was so sweet. Very attentive. We ordered two burgers one medium and one medium rare. Both burgers came out well done. This was a bummer since they looked awesome. I ate mine anyways, and it wasn't too bad since I had an egg on it. Otherwise it was super dry. We also ordered the wings, they were really good. Great get and really moist. Probably the best wings I've had in a long time. This is a great place to eat and hang out. Love the decor, and the booths were super comfy. Disappointed again. Ordered an espresso martini and it came out with Worcestershire sauce instead of espresso. Normally it would be an honest mistake but it was said that it happens often and was laughed about all while it made my stomach hurt most the night and just an oops the bottles are next to each other. I was pleasantly surprised by BLVD Grill. To be fair I really had low expectations for brunchie breakfast in Henderson... in context it was really great. I had an 'all brown breakfast' - hot honey fried chicken with biscuits and gravy... colour me about to have a heart attack(!)... it came out hot and fast and frankly I didn't see myself possibly eating it all... and then it was gone and I was thinking of having a mid morning nap. A great place to start an NFL Sunday... don't come expecting a light fruit plate (although I'm sure they have them). read more

I definitely had my reservations about this place initially as I heard it was from the same team that own PKWY Taverns, a brand who I have also been disappointed by but upon trying BLVD, I was honestly very surprised. The menu is small but their items pack a punch. The design is adult, tasteful, and classy. The wait staff are knowledgeable, professional, but still fun. They also have a good HH. BLVD has quickly become one of my favorite places on Water Street to eat, particularly their cheeseburger egg rolls and crispy shrimp. While those are my top dishes here, I've never eaten anything bad here. You really can't go wrong with trying BLVD Grille. read more

We all went to eat at this restaurant that was a few blocks away from the ice rink and they were open late. The place was nice and cozy on the inside and wasn't crowded. The staff was really nice and wonderful. The food we had was delicious! We tried the clam chowder which was topped with bacon crumbles. It was yummy! I tried the mushroom swiss burger that was juicy and yummy. We also tried a side of elote. It was delicious but it had a bit too much diced cactus in it. My son had the N.Y. strip with mashed potatoes and gravy with grilled asparagus. He said it was yummy and ate everything. His cousin got the kids cheeseburger with fries and I was surprised that the size was the same as my hamburger but cheaper of course. I totally recommend this place if you are at the hockey rink and need a good close place to eat. It has a bit of something for everyone. read more

Previously Hardway 8 - this is a PKWY property, but an upscale version of their standard bar & grill. I would put this into more of a nice restaurant / date night location versus a bar & grill - it's very nice. The back bar is smaller, but more of a sports bar vibe. Nice atmosphere and the staff is super friendly - just had drinks, but based on the other PKWY properties, I'm sure the food is great! read more

This was a great stop on our trip through Vegas. "Strip" grade meal without going into high traffic and hunt for parking. Parking was free and no hassle to drive right in. Overall the food was EXCELLENT- 3 steak dinners were perfect, smoked salmon was a tad dry. Taste and presentation on all four were on point. Desserts were made in house and scrumptious. Best flan ever! Our waitress was attentive and our table booth was comfortable. The live music - solo guitar player was enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone! We have been here before and had a very nice experience. We decided to have a birthday party for 6. It wasn't very busy. They tried to sit us in a booth. It was just too crowded. We requested a table. There was a large table available but they sat us at a table for 4 and added 2 chairs on each end. The table wasn't meant for 6 and it sucked. It was worse than the booth. We were reminded of how crowded it was for the entirety of the meal. The food was good, the service was good. But being uncomfortable the entire time was not ok. There are too many places to choose from to deal with this. We won't be back. read more

We were looking for a place for steaks and came across BLVD Grill. We were able to make reservations as it was a steady Saturday night. The inside is really cute and the sit down dining area is more the focus point. There is a gaming area, but it's by the bar so I appreciate it not being merged to the dining area. It wasn't smoky in there at all and the dark blue walls and plush booths made it cute for date night or a celebration dinner. Our server, Jayeda, was fast and helpful. She had several tables and still helped us with a couple of items. They only have A1 sauce for the steak, which is fine. I would have liked the option of other sauces if possible. The New York steak was a good portion and was cooked to my liking of medium. There was a good wood - charred grill mark and Smokey flavor on both the Cowboy Ribeye and the New York strip. Both were cooked well, but I think it could of used a little more seasoning during the grilling process? It would have elevated it just a bit. The mash potatoes and asparagus that came with the steaks were very tasty too. I can appreciate the mask potatoes being actual potatoes and not just premade powder stuff it was creamy with big of the red skin in it. Very satisfying. The street corn nachos were good and definitely shareable. Worth trying once, but maybe some more cotija cheese would have been nice. The shrimp and lobster dip with focaccia toast was another good shareable appetizer. It is rich and tasty and I would order that again. Didn't get to order dessert as I was too full and has to take the rest of the steaks home. Overall, it was a nice place to have a decent steak dinner and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. read more
