    King crab legs, filet
    Meghan M.

Came in on a Wednesday to treat myself, but honestly, the experience was pretty frustrating. The Caprese cocktail was actually surprisingly good, but things fell apart after that. I ordered the king crab legs, a filet, and broccolini. I talked through the temp of the steak with the server to make sure the steak wouldn't be rare, and we agreed on medium. When it arrived and I cut into it, it was very rare and dark red in the middle. I called him over and he sent it back with my crab legs. I also had to mention I never got my broccolini, which he realized he forgot to put in. They brought out the broccolini first, but had already taken my plate and utensils, so I just sat there staring at a plate of greens with no way to eat it. When the rest of my food came back out, they gave extra crab legs (nice touch), but they had literally just reheated my cut-up steak, whatever. Plus, my butter, utensils, and napkin kept disappearing, so I had to keep asking for basic items throughout the night. The food overall was fine, nothing special. The butter cake at the end was mediocre at best. When the check came, there was a random extra $5 charge on it that the bartender said was a double-charge mistake for blue cheese but was marked as a refire. The place was practically empty, maybe four people at the bar and three tables. So there's really no excuse for this many mistakes on a slow night. Even with comped drinks and a coupon, I still dropped almost $200 with tip. The manager never even came over once to apologize or check in. Expected a lot better for a spot in Calabasas.

    tomahawk steak

Overall, BLVD Steak was a decent experience, but it didn't quite have the wow factor I was expecting. The tomahawk was above average and cooked well, but for a steakhouse at this level, the steak itself wasn't anything especially memorable. The Caesar salad, though, was easily one of the best I've ever had and was probably the highlight of the meal. The mac and cheese was pretty average and didn't stand out. The restaurant itself is small and cozy with a nice ambiance, and our server was really friendly and provided great service. My biggest issue was how long the tomahawk took to come out -- it was an extremely long wait. Overall, the meal was decent and there were definitely some highlights, especially the Caesar salad, but between the long wait and the steak not really blowing me away, I think 3 stars is fair.

Savannah was our server and she was amazing !! We enjoyed our service and food was out of this world!! Spoke to Manager Gallaway about booking a private room soon for special guests

    Crispy chicken sandwich
    Susie L.

I came here because a friend recommended the steak. We ordered the New York strip and the crispy chicken sandwich. The steak was good and cooked well, but it had more fat than I personally like. I still think Ruth's Chris has a more flavorful steak. The crispy chicken sandwich was also good. The bun was soft and fresh, and the chicken was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy exterior. My favorite part of the meal was the shoestring fries. My biggest issue was the price. For what you pay, I expected to be more impressed. The food was good, but I don't think it justified the cost, and I would probably stick with Ruth's Chris if I'm in the mood for a steak. The service was average. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. Overall, it's a solid restaurant, but considering the prices, I don't see myself coming back for the steak.

Date night at BLVD Steak was a mixed experience. The ambiance is definitely the highlight... beautiful decor, an upscale atmosphere, and the kind of setting that feels perfect for a special night out. Unfortunately, the food didn't match the fine-dining vibe or the prices. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and while it was decent, the presentation felt underwhelming. At a steakhouse with premium pricing, I expected a more polished cocktail presentation, such as a large ice cube or sphere rather than a few standard ice cubes. For food, my husband ordered the burger, I had the sushi, and we shared the shoestring fries, artichoke dip, and pretzel bun. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. The dishes felt average for the price point, and my husband's meal unfortunately didn't sit well with him afterward. Overall, BLVD gets high marks for atmosphere and service, but when you're paying fine-dining prices, the food and drinks need to deliver as well. We enjoyed the setting, but based on the quality and taste of the food, it's not a place we'd rush back to.

LOVE the ambiance!!! Great for lunch and dinner. My pictures will speak for themselves, but food and drinks for all delicious. The service was on point. Free parking in The Commons center. Right next time Kings. Definitely recommend for day date or dinner before something kind of date!

Great, upscale happy hour but get there early to get a spot because it gets busy! Happy hour is until 5:30 but to be safe I would try to get there by 4:00 if you can. Service was awesome all night. They really elevated the experience which sometimes could be chaotic during happy hour. The martini is $18 on happy hour, not exactly a deal, but with the "side car" of almost another pour of the drink it is worth the price. The BLVD burger was pretty good but I would try something different next time. The fries were massive and filled us up quickly so we didn't order more items. Worth a stop for sure if looking for a newish spot in the area.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday and had a great experience! The hostess helped accommodate us because we needed a high chair for our toddler! Our waiter was kind and attentive! He brought us water and we decided to order drinks. I got a mimosa and my husband got a negroni and both were great! We ordered a carb cake for appetizer and it was so delicious! For our entrées, we got steak and the kampai roll and wow they were both delicious! We also ordered sides, waffle fries, broccoli and mac and cheese! Our son loved the mac and cheese! The waffle fries and broccoli so good! Everything here was delicious! The bathroom was clean and smelled so nice! They had a candle burning! They also have a changing table! We can't wait to come back already!

BLVD Burger - on DineLA 1/2026

I've been here for lunch and for DineLA - I'd compare BLVD Steak to STK (the one in Woodland Hills, not Vegas). It's a good steakhouse by Valley standards, in short, but offers much more than just meat which I like. The interior is new and appealing and green. The furniture is comfy and aesthetically pleasing. We preferred to sit indoors in one of their booths. Bar seating and patio seating are also available. My picks: Salmon Dry Miso, Steak Tartare, Crispy Broccolini, and Shoestring Fries. I was less keen on the BLVD Burger and Strawberry Kale Salad, but the rest of my table raved about them. If we were a hungrier group, we would have split the bone-in ribeye, which seemed like a popular item. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but to be expected for a steakhouse and an eatery in Calabasas. Service was efficient, no complaints. Free parking all around the Calabasas Commons, or else there's valet just nearby. BLVD Steak is near King's Fish House in the far corner of the Commons.

Second visit to BLVD and this time it was just a great experience all around. The staff was great and attentive, the General Manager was very kind and welcoming, and 2 kind patrons paid for our bill as a total and complete surprise at the end of the night!! Stand outs of the night that we enjoyed-- a great sushi roll selection in which was a staff recommendation and the fries were completely amazing. Crispy and coated well, delicious little shoestring strips of happiness!!! Will definitely be back and look forward to trying a few new things next time.

Came for Dine in LA. The Place- Very nice with a good size outdoor patio. The Service- Friendly and attentive. Parking- Shares a very large lot with a lot of other businesses. The Food- 1) Salmon Dry Miso- I liked it but thought it was too lemony which is weird because I like lemon. Would try something different next time. 2) Tuna Crispy Rice- Very good and I would recommend. 3) Kampai Roll- Good and I would get it again. 4) BLVD Burger- Delicious and recommended. I suggest getting extra truffle aioli to put on both you burger and the fries.

Lemon Drop and Peach Martini with Shoestring Fries, Mashed Potato, King Crab Legs, and Bone In Ribeye 16oz.
    Vanny K.

Blvd Steak really exceeded my expectations for our Valentines reservation, and the food, service, and ambiance was over the top outstanding. We ordered a lemon drop and peach martini, to go with the king crab legs, and dry aged bone-in 16oz ribeye, with a side of mashed potatoes and shoestring fries. Everything was delicious, and perfectly cooked. Considering how busy it was during dinner, the team were constantly attentive. If you're ever in the Calabasas area, the Commons shopping district has plenty of options for dining including Blvd Steak.

Beautiful dinner at Blvd Steak Sunday night. Delicious food. Ordered oysters, branzino, pretzel bread, broccoli. A nice wine by the glass. Highly recommend if you're looking to impress. Attentive service. Lovely comfortable setting. No valet needed which I prefer. Will return.

Mind you we saw the Mexico v England game here, but it was inside, next to some wonderful Mexico fans. Screen clearly visible. Service always fantastic. All that's good.
