Riana gave very good recommendations and convinced me to try the pork chop that was very tasty and well presented. Each of my friends also got different dishes which were all lovely, and we all got strawberry margaritas! Riana's service was excellent since she was very attentive of our table, I would totally go back and look for her again! I loved my experience here, I would totally recommend it to anyone!

I know chicken piccata is supposed to have that bright lemon flavor, but I felt like the lemon was a little too heavy and it didn't have quite as much depth as the other dishes. Overall, I had such a nice experience here. The food was great, the restaurant is GORGEOUS, and the atmosphere is definitely a big part of the experience. I would absolutely come back and try more of the menu!

I have eaten at BLVD enough times that my bank account has started asking follow-up questions. At this point, I'm not sure if I'm a customer or a shareholder. BLVD is the "it girl" of Los Angeles steakhouses. Beautiful. Popular. Impossible to get enough of. Everyone wants a reservation and nobody wants to admit how often they're here. I've been to both Sherman Oaks and Calabasas, and each has its own personality. Sherman Oaks feels like a casting call where everyone accidentally ended up at a steakhouse. The bar is packed, the energy is high, and somehow every person looks like they have either a podcast or a skincare line. Calabasas is the cooler, more mature sibling. Same great food, slightly more relaxed vibe, and fewer people trying to turn dinner into a networking event. What I love most? You can actually hear the person you're dining with. Revolutionary concept. The food is ridiculous. The sauteed shrimp with creole butter and grilled bread should honestly come with a warning label because once you order it, you'll never not order it again. The Caesar salad somehow made me care about croutons. The Wagyu ribeye was so tender I briefly considered sending an apology text to every steak I've ever complimented before. And then BLVD pulled the ultimate plot twist. The best thing on the menu might be the chicken. Yes, chicken. At a steakhouse. The free-range chicken with Bordelaise sauce is so good it should have its own Instagram account. For sides, order the lobster mac and cheese, creamed spinach, chipotle lime corn, and crispy broccolini. Trust me. If you're in Sherman Oaks, do not skip the onion ring tower. If you're in Calabasas, join me in mourning the fact that the onion ring tower does not exist there. The service deserves its own standing ovation. No attitude. No pretentiousness. No one making you feel like they're doing you a favor by bringing your food. Just genuinely great hospitality from people who seem happy you're there. Imagine that. In Los Angeles. I rarely leave reviews, but BLVD Steak at The Commons in Calabasas absolutely deserves one. I came here for lunch with my mom for the first time, and the entire experience was excellent. The food was delicious. We had the strawberry kale salad, the burger, the French dip, and the butter cake with ice cream for dessert, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and really well prepared. But what truly made this experience stand out was our waiter, Anwar. Great service feels so rare these days, especially in LA, and Anwar was beyond attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely pleasant. He knew the menu well, made great suggestions, and made us feel taken care of the entire time. Honestly, he elevated the whole experience. On 5/15/26 We dined at BLVD restaurant in Calabasas with friends who were celebrating their 35th anniversary, while we were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary from the moment we walked in everything was top-notch. Our Waitress Ryan asked if we were celebrating anything special, from that moment on it was truly an elevated experience. The food was outstanding beautifully presented and full of flavor. The drinks were delicious. The manager Cason came to our table to congratulate us and made our evening more special by going above and beyond and provided thoughtful, complementary items that made our night extra memorable. I just had to leave another review. My husband and I have been eating super clean and decided to have our cheat meal last weekend at Blvd Calabasas. We orderer the Caesar salad with extra cheese and croutons dressing on the side with blackened salmon, the meatball and the Blvd Burger. I'm literally dreaming about this meal today on Monday!!! It was one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. The blackened salmon was perfection. The Caesar was so delicious and the meatball was insane. This location is getting better and better. I had an excellent experience at Boulevard Steakhouse thanks to Tabatha. She went above and beyond with her recommendations. While I wasn't a fan of the watermelon drink, every pasta suggestion she gave was spot on. Each dish she guided me toward was flavorful, perfectly balanced, and exactly what I was in the mood for. The creamed spinach was amazing, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. What truly made this experience stand out was the customer service. David and, I believe, Lance were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience. While dining, I noticed several guests stopping to thank them, give them hugs, and say goodbye personally. That says a lot about how well they treat their customers. If management sees this, please know these two are incredible assets to your team and deserve recognition. We didn't order from the bar since we brought our own champagne, but the bartender was also very friendly. Overall, the staff was outstanding, the atmosphere was beautiful, and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan to come back and stay at the hotel in the future.

Overall, there are definitely better Italian restaurants in the area at a far better value. I wouldn't come here again but was glad to try it.

I like their garlic soup extra hot, the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta with Italian sausage, squid ink pasta with calamari and shrimp, and I don't remember which one I liked more or if I like both as well: the bolognese or the braised short rib. I'm sure you cannot go wrong trying both though. I also enjoy coming for their DineLA, so this one experience is probably just a one off.

I know there's not much they can do about the wasps but they should at least let people eat inside if the problem is that bad. Overall kinda bummed. Been waiting to go for years and it's like they're doing what they can to charge the most for doing the bare minimum. Wish I could say I'll come back some time when their indoor seating is open, but I really don't think the food is worth the price.

My mom, brother, sister, and I are pretty particular about spicy food. We never asked for anything special, but Oscar came back from the kitchen with a full assortment of salsas, pickled jalapeños, carrots, and different levels of heat for us to try. It turned into its own little tasting experience, and honestly, that alone won us over. He also helped guide us through the menu and made sure everything matched our tastes. The food did not disappoint. It was fresh, full of flavor, and felt genuinely authentic. In the Calabasas area, that is not always easy to find. The experience stayed with me, so 3 days later I brought my wife back. I was lucky enough to see Oscar again, and somehow he remembered me, what I liked, and even the spicy tasting plate from our first visit. That kind of care is rare. We also got to meet Oscar's wife, Yadira, who was just as warm and kind. The whole experience felt personal, relaxed, and welcoming. Hacienda Tapatio is absolutely worth visiting for the food alone. But Oscar is the reason it became a place we'll keep going back to. Great food. Genuine hospitality. A true neighborhood gem. And if you're lucky enough to get Oscar, you're in very good hands.
