This small ice cream shop is on a farm and they use their own milk to make their ice creams. There a variety of outdoor seating options such as Adirondack chairs, a swinging bench and picnic tables. There's also a play ground and a goat feeding area. The service was friendly. For scoops, you can get a cone (they only offer waffle cones that they make in house for $1), waffle bowl or a dish. They also offer shakes, sundaes and floats. The prices are kind of high; $9 for three scoops and $1 for a cone plus tax. But, the ice cream is really creamy, flavorful and loaded with chunks, which I like. My friend got a pistachio ice cream and it was LOADED with CRUNCHY salted pistachios... I've never had an ice cream in which the pistachios were crunchy! I wished I had ordered that after I saw hers come out. I got three scoops: campfire delight (s'mores), mocha chip and peanut butter Oreo. I wanted to get the blueberry crumble, but it sold out two customers ahead of me. The campfire delight had a bunch of mini marshmallows and decent size chocolate chunks. The mocha chip had a good coffee chocolate flavor and a nice amount of large chocolate chunks, not merely chips. The peanut butter Oreo had a rich peanut butter flavor. The setting was also great to relax & enjoy our frozen delights! If I lived there it would be a special occasion treat because of the price; since I visit NH about once a year, I will go to Milltuck every time!

The first thing you notice is that this isn't just an ice cream shop. There are multiple rooms filled with candy, chocolates, treats and all sorts of things that make you want to slow down and look at everything. There is a slightly retro feel to the whole place, and I mean that in the best possible way. You can very easily lose track of time wandering from room to room, looking at the candy, checking out the chocolates and trying to decide what you absolutely need to take home. Then there is the ice cream. The sundaes are fantastic because you get to build your own and load them up with whatever toppings you want. And they aren't stingy with the toppings, either. The ice cream itself was delicious, with a great selection of flavors, and the whole experience of putting together your own sundae makes it especially fun if you're with kids. Although, judging by my wife's reaction, you don't actually have to be a kid to enjoy it. They also make their own ice cream and have a wide variety of candies and chocolates made in-house. You absolutely need to try some of the "in haus" chocolates while you're there. There is something particularly satisfying about buying something that was actually made right there rather than grabbing another generic packaged candy bar. The staff were incredibly friendly and added to the experience. Everyone seemed genuinely welcoming, which is important in a place like this because you want to be able to wander around, ask questions and take your time looking at everything. Nobody made us feel rushed, and there is so much to see that rushing would almost defeat the purpose. This is a great place for the entire family. Kids are going to love the candy and ice cream, adults will appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere and the homemade treats, and honestly, everyone is going to walk out with something they didn't intend to buy. We certainly did. My wife may have had something slightly different in mind when she decided we needed to stop here, but she walked out looking like a little kid who had just been turned loose in a candy store, carrying a sundae, candies and chocolates. I wasn't exactly empty-handed myself. A really fun and unexpected find in the Lakes Region. If you're anywhere around Lake Winnipesaukee, this is absolutely worth a stop. The pricing I think is getting pretty high for what it is. They no longer scoop the ice cream in front of you - the ice cream is around the corner. When we got to the smorgasbord, the whipped cream wasn't working/was empty. The workers didn't seem to want to fix it, and once you leave the line you can't re-enter. Pretty disappointing to not be able to get their homemade whipped cream they rave about. For almost $9 for a one scoop make-your-own before tax, it was honestly not a great experience today. We miss the nostalgia of this place - it's becoming more industrialized and less sentimental.

The ice cream prices before tax (in 2021) seem fair including 1 scoop (minnow) $3.00, 2 scoops (small mouth bass) $4.50, and 3 scoops (large mouth bass) $5.50. The ice cream nachos (3 scoops with all toppings and crumbled waffle cone) is $7.00. I got a Root Beer Float ($5 plus $0.45 tax) here recently which had vanilla ice cream with Barq's Root Beer, a good refreshing standby on a hot day and minimal mess.

They then waited for more than 40 minutes for their order. During that time, they repeatedly asked staff members about the status of their food. Multiple employees instructed them to continue waiting. Meanwhile, they observed other customers arriving, receiving their orders, and leaving while their own order was not provided. After waiting more than 40 minutes, it appeared that their food order had either never been entered or had otherwise been disregarded. In addition to the unusually long wait, both described the manner in which staff interacted with them as dismissive, patronizing, and disrespectful. They felt they were being belittled and treated as though they were less deserving of attention or service than other customers. Both my fiancée and our friend are Asian. Neither of them normally attributes poor customer service to race, and neither entered the situation expecting or looking for discriminatory treatment. However, because of the combination of their order apparently being ignored, repeated dismissive responses from staff, and other customers being served while they continued to wait, both left the business questioning whether their race or ethnicity contributed to how they were treated. I am submitting this account in good faith. The factual details described above are based on what my fiancée and our friend experienced and reported regarding the incident.
