You once had an Executive Chef named "Hoke" many, many years ago...a quintessential gentleman with great culinary expertise, who frequently would come out of the kitchen, go table to table, introduce himself to all the patrons, and ask them if their meals were up to their liking. This man "made" The Wolfeboro Inn, almost singlehandedly. When he resigned because of a difficulty with management, the place plummeted...nearly overnight. Fast forward to August, 2025, and it is now worse than ever. I'd recommend Dunkin' Donuts on Center Street, or The Bay Diner on Main ahead of here.
