I am in…read moreprocess of moving and needed to put a couple hundred dollars in the account for monthly student loan payment. The ATM outside rejected my password three times that I've had since I opened the account directly after hurricane Katrina--2005. I went inside for help and NATHALIE decided I wasn't worthy of her help and acted with a highly condescending attitude toward me about filling out a deposit slip and gave me actual hell about not knowing my new address during my point of confusion about the ATM incident. She blew off ALL of my concerns and treated me like a piece of trash. I asked for manager since she could not treat me even remotely human so that I could get answers about my PIN. She then called her "boss" with a bell like in a restaurant or hotel--an actual silver bell. She rang it, dismissing me and my concern for my account. I wasn't trying to take money, I was giving it to the bank. WTH???!!!??? She spoke to him, again condescending toward me and then he himself was a part of my agitation. The answer was this: Well, we were able to accept your PIN here inside and must be problem with machine. I asked, "Don't you want to make sure for the next guest it's okay? Or does it not matter to you?" Basically it doesn't matter to BofA employees in Lafayette if the customers can operate their machinery or not. We moved here because it's supposed to be one of the most wonderful communities for kids/families in the Bay. Thanks NATHALIE for proving that wrong in my first encounter here.... NATHALIE then--Rude as can be--said, "Here, I wrote your address down so you don't forget it again...". What, I have Alzheimer's now??? WOOOOOOOOW!!! I explained my ID was in my car and didn't have it on me, I was just trying to understand why I could not deposit into the ATM--are you kidding me??? GOODBYE BofA. Thank your amazing staff.

In brief, I am a local store owner, trading in Lafayette for 12 years, fully known at the bank as I bank at minimum 3-4 times a week. There is always a line of people to be served, for the most part there are 3-4 tellers staring at a screen with one customer, cannot imagine why, everyone else in line is ignored. That aside, I recently went in to the branch to bank a check that was made out to our store, the paying in slip had my LLC name on it. The Teller said he was unable to accept the check as it did not have our LLC name on the check. The check was a regular check that I receive four times a year from Fedex, plus I have a long history with Wells Fargo, having all accounts including my mortgage with them. The awkward bank manager was called and stated that she would not take my check as it could be fraud, even though she knew who I was and that I was a local trader. She told me to return with my Sales Tax License to prove both the LLC name plus the store name, this I did, but they would still not take the check as the "Back Office" girl at the branch said no. I took it to the Pleasant Hill branch who banked it immediately. I will now remove all accounts from Wells Fargo, and am in the process of reporting the horrible service at the Lafayette branch. It was obvious that the manager enjoyed being as awkward as possible. i notice there is never a reply to any of the poor reviews and there are many.

I came with my neighbor to replace her debit card yesterday, Jose didn't seem willing to help that he said "do it online!" as cold as that. I noticed how impatient he was, so I urged him to be patient with us. This was day 1. Day 2 - We called Chase, we were asked to go to the branch to replace the card. Today, it was unfortunate that "Jose" tended to us again. We told him that Chase representative said we could get the debit card replaced at the branch, he was curt with his reply, and absolutely had no manners, no smile, like he wasn't happy to be there. I had to remind him again to be patient with the customers. He shouldn't be working there with that attitude.

Month later, no check, so I called Chase Estate Services and they told me the branch banker had not uploaded the proper documents, that they had emailed her and never heard back, so they cancelled the whole request and told me I had to start over in the branch again. Went there today on my day off and was told the banker who helped me previously was on vacation so there was nothing they could do until they return, and I would have to come back again (x3) after she returned. What? This is 2026 and critical banking processes are tied to a single person? What if they quit or went on medical leave? I guess your and my critical financial transactions would just have to wait indefinitely. What a joke of a process and horrific customer service. I feel for all the poor Rossmoor residents who are being hoodwinked by the Private Banking "services" offered at this branch location. Avoid at all costs. Choose any other local branch.

Review #014 - 2026 I…read morerarely make my way out to this location unless it is on a Saturday, which I've only visited twice in the two years that I am employed at my company. My first experience around Christmas time was normal since I had to come get cash for our company bonus and everything went pretty smoothly. Today, June 20th, we arrived around 12:30 PM and it was a little busy so I was patient and understanding when they asked me to wait almost 15 minutes just to make a simple deposit. However, when it was my turn, the teller, Gina Lopez, was not so happy to see that I had some loose coins in my deposit bag. I try very hard to be accommodating and roll up all of my loose coins if they actually add up to a full roll. I rolled up the quarters since it was a full roll. However, the nickels and dimes didn't so I just left them loose. Her first comment was, "you're supposed to roll up all the coins!" with a sour face. Of course, I replied as such, "I rolled up the quarters because they added up to a full $10, but the others didn't add up to a full roll." So, she pretended to be a little friendlier as I sat there and ignored her while writing this review while she counted my coins. If you don't want to count, maybe don't get a job at the bank! I've never told any of my customers that they aren't allowed to pay in coins just because I was too lazy to count their money.
