worst dealer experience ever. I have purchased probably around 50 cars from dealers in my life and I had some bad experiences, but working with bmw of Beaumont was the worst. I am not sure how they have remained in business. Usually dealers rush to get the sale done. This dealer was stalling every chance they got. My transaction took around 20 days. After my loan with a great credit history got approved and the credit card was changed for the down payment , it took more than 2 weeks to release the car. For some reason the file had to go through 3 different states of approvals at the dealer. Usually on once the dealer collects the down payment and the loan is approved, the car is ready to be picked up, but not with bmw of Beaumont. After 20 days and all the approvals, the dealer wouldn't release the car to the truck driver for transport, so I ended up losing time and money, because I had paid a deposit to the truck driver, which wasn't able to pick up the car, after the dealer told me the car is released for pickup. The driver waited for 6 hours, left and kept my deposit. I don't blame the driver. After almost 3 months, I finally received my registration and plates. I am sure they will blame that on California DMV, but they were not able to send me the package to sign. I am assuming that's because their registration department and the shipping department is different. I have an email chain as proof how they tried to send me the package 3 different times, which I never received. Then I finally asked them to email the forms so I can sign it and mail it back. We had a flat tire on a trip back home on Labor Day and called BMW of Beaumont to ask if they had fire in stock. They did and agreed to change the tire that morning. Unfortunately, the wheel was cracked and could not be repaired until next business day. The service advisor tried to get us a rental but was unsuccessful due to holiday. Then they offered to bring us to Orange, TX to meet my parents for a ride home. They were overly accommodating every step of the way. We were extremely pleased with the customer service we experienced at this dealership. My X3 needed repairs done and the process (that easily could have been a headache) was really easy. Insurance and parts had my car in the shop about three weeks. However, we were given an excellent loaner, so that was really no problem. My car was not purchased from them, but my next one will be. Robin at the service center was amazing to deal with. Other employees we encountered were so friendly and helpful also. DO NOT BUY FROM MIKE SMITH BMW BEAUMONT. I have had a terrible experience with Mike Smith BMW Beaumont, and I strongly advise against purchasing from them. I purchased a seemingly new BMW not too long ago, but recently took it for routine fluid maintenance in Austin, where the BMW technician immediately noticed some major issues with the car's engine. The most alarming was that the ENGINE COLLAPSED, which was evident by the way it was tilted inside the engine bay. When I went back to review the images from when I purchased the car, I realized that the engine was slanted in those pictures as well. As someone who is not a car mechanic or expert, I trusted BMW Beaumont to sell me a car without any serious problems, especially since they are a BMW dealership selling a BMW. However, my trust was betrayed. At the BMW dealership in Austin, they expressed their surprise that this car was sold without the proper repair. They also expressed that the damage should have been immediately noticed by technicians at Mike Smith BMW Beaumont. BMW of Austin also highlighted the safety concerns of the vehicle. This is unacceptable and shows a clear lack of care for their customers' SAFETY and satisfaction. On top of the collapsed engine, I was informed there is a significant coolant leak requiring a new pump and thermostat housing. BMW Austin advised me to have these issues fixed to avoid any further damage to the engine. Unfortunately, the estimated cost for the repairs is thousands due to the extensive labor involved. I've reached out to other select repair shops that handle BMWs as well, some have refused to fix it, citing the time and complexity involved, while others have given me even higher estimates. Despite my efforts to contact BMW of Beaumont to express my concerns, I've received no help or support. I have been told I will receive a call back on multiple occasions and have received none. They've shown no care for their customers, and their promises of having someone reach out to have amounted to nothing. As a college student I've been left to deal with this issue on my own, missing time off work and school, which is completely unacceptable given the severity and cost of the repairs needed. While I recognize that BMWs are known for being expensive to purchase, repair and maintain, it is incredibly disheartening that BMW of Beaumont would sell me a car that had OBVIOUS damage without prior disclosure. It makes me wonder all the other vehicles they have sold without following through with necessary repairs. As someone who loves BMWs, I feel compelled to share this information with potential car buyers so they can avoid the situation I am in. Overall, if you are in the market for a BMW or any Car in general, steer clear of Mike Smith BMW in Beaumont and look for more trustworthy dealerships that care for their customers' safety and satisfaction. There are other dealerships, out there like BMW Austin who prioritize their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure their cars are in the best possible condition before being sold. read more

Wow! I would give this place a zero, if it were possible. We drove 5 hrs to get a car after we were lied to about the cars condition. The car was obviously damaged and looked like it had been in an accident (that was not reported). Don't waste your time dealing with the dishonest staff here. They give car salesman the bad name that you here about. read more

Would not recommend service here. Willie was my service adviser, usually very helpful, nice guy too, but after my last claim under warranty was denied, I think they just want to get money more than provide excellent service. My strut mount is worn, as suspension parts do, they decided it since the car was reported stolen, still when new, according to the carfax, they will try to make $1000 off me. NO damage reported, 2 owners and 25k miles ago, he said it was caused from whoever stole it, although thats doubtful others would drive with it that long, the no damage report, and considering my tie rod, control arms, really everything else is fine, and factory parts still, I checked for myself, it's not like anyone caused the issue. Guess I'll go to BMW Houston next time like the owner of my company recommends. **update** Keith, I did email you last week as requested, called and left a voicemail, and have called daily since with no response. Your reply to me may look good on here for anyone viewing, thinking I may have been taken care of, but my issue is still not resolved. Not even contact with me to explain your side of anything. We just purchased our first BMW X5 and had the best experience ever while purchasing a vehicle. Our salesman John Robinson was so helpful and not pushy at all. We have bought several cars over our lifetime and this was the best experience by far. Absolutely the worst service department I've ever dealt with in my life! They gave me a quote of $2,364.83 for a alignment and 4 tires! When I mentioned I just purchased the vehicle a few months ago Donna went and got permission to do a free alignment and all of a sudden my tires aren't bad but if I want new tires. I'm responsible for the purchase of tires. I ask why should I be responsible for tires on a vehicle I just bought and she responded maybe we can warranty them out but of course that didn't work so she got the head mechanic to tell me it's the way I drive that has my tires worn on the outside of all four tires. Meanwhile they get the general manager ( Keith leger ) And he tells me I hit a pot hole or something.... I responded with I guess one big enough for all 4 tires? He said yes and gave me that we care about all or customer crap and walked off now I drive a bmw that sounds like a monster truck while driving ( tires roaring noise ) read more

I purchased a Pre Owned Certified 2015 BMW X5 from Mike Smith maybe 3 or 4 months ago. The miles were just over 50,000, and was told the maintenance could not be transferred but was told by the finance manager we could pay a year maintenance around $1100.00 or so when we purchased the vehicle, then about a month ago when I called to inquire on it again. I scheduled the appointment for this morning with the finance manager which he did have all my information pulled up yesterday when he scheduled me in for this mornings appointment, he did not mention to me until today that they could not offer the one year maintenance program that I had to purchase the 2 year maintenance warranty for $2500.00. Needless to say I didn't hang around to listen to the so called explanation because not once or twice was I told I could purchase a year warranty. I had to actually show up to get this new information today. This Saturday 1st thing I will not own a BMW, This is my first and my last. Buyer Beware! Deceptive practices! I saw a vehicle that I liked online, I contacted the internet sales individual and inquired in regards to the car. I even scheduled a time to go to see the car. Upon arrival the car was $8,000 more than online, ironic that the price was the same all day and even on the way to the dealership, which was approximately 60 miles away from my home it got all of a sudden "corrected" when I was due there. When speaking to a manager Rocky he shrugged his shoulders and could care less; not let me see what I can do, I'm sorry you came all this way, nothing. Poor business practices, even a burger restaurant would try to make it "right".
