Was sold perfectly clean, O accidents, perfect car!! 6 months into ownership, I check my CarFax to randomly find an accident has shown up from before I was sold the vehicle. The accident dates back a year before the purchase. The dealer not only refused to negotiate with me whatsoever or be reasonable, but instead the general manager Chris Marino sent me an extremely fiery email, to discourage me from asking further questions or pursue damages? I don't know. Avoid BMW of Spokane, especially if you have the misfortune of dealing with the incredibly rude salesperson, Eck. From the start, the experience was nothing short of unprofessional. Eck accused me of "playing sneaky games"--yes, that's an actual quote. Instead of stooping to his level, I kept things civil, but his arrogance and hostility were on full display. I had requested lease pricing for a BMW X5 M60. As expected, the initial numbers were inflated (a typical dealership tactic). After some back and forth, I shared details about my current BMW lease that I intended to trade in. Despite this, the numbers remained high. When I outlined my expectations--basing it on a percentage of MSRP similar to my current lease--Eck dismissively told me, "That's too low. If that were the price, I'd get one for myself." Well, Eck, feel free to buy whatever you want: a car, a yacht, or even a private jet. But maybe save your condescending remarks for someone who isn't a potential customer. When I mentioned turning down a better offer from another dealership (which was $200 less per month than what Eck was offering), he demanded to see the entire deal. I explained I'd only share the bottom-line numbers out of respect for the other dealership. Eck's response? "Anyone can generate and send that; I need the whole thing." I couldn't have met a nicer guy. If you go in, tell him I said hi. As far as the finance department, I worked with John. Two of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. Long story short. I went in for a particular SUV, and it didn't work out. However, the one I went home with was a better vehicle, and a great deal. Go visit them when you are looking for a new or used rig. Exceptional Experience at BMW of Spokane We recently had an excellent experience with BMW of Spokane. I called the representative, Robert Trosin, in the morning to inquire about purchasing a 2024 M440i xDrive Coupe with my son. This is my son's third BMW--he is a programmer and owns a tuning company for BMWs. Robert demonstrated professionalism and extensive knowledge about the cars. He was patient, kind, and provided us with ample information. We test-drove several cars and ultimately decided on the M440i. My son is thrilled with the new car, and Robert patiently explained all its features. The finance department was also very friendly. I have noticed a number of one-star comments, which I believe might stem from personal grievances. However, I had no concerns about being treated poorly. I highly recommend this dealership. Worst car dealership so far of my 46 years alive. Nesrly 6m of them letting my M sit around and never fixing the issue. So many different service advisors they couldn't even keep anything straight. All they did for me was take money to replace parts that weren't damaged. Then I get my M back after nearly 6 months and it's still not fixed. 4 times I picked it up and had same result and after nearly 15k in repairs. They even damaged parts to force me to replace. Completely unbelievable I get it! Last I heard was take your car home and see if it's fixed, let us know. I let them know after 3 hrs driving on my way home and they said they would be in touch. Completely ghosted me, even after calling over a dozen times. Contacted BMW and they put in request for them to resolve and contact the customer. Nothing! Bought Lifetime oil service package for about $800. Went in for service and was only charged $1140. Charged $225 for them to tell me my "auto hold" did not always work because the floor mat covered a sensor. After pushing back they reimbued $120. Could go on but won't. Bottom line : Avoid them. Untrustworthy dealership! They listed a price for a used vehicle with Driveway.com and then they reduced the price by $500. But BMW would not change their price with Driveway, even though it was changed everywhere else online. Then within a week, BMW decided to increase the price to over $2,000 more. I've been reaching out via email to their GM (Chris Marino), as well as their service department for over a week and no one will respond. Go read the two other reviews left on their google page for a nightmare of a scenario that could be what you get if you choose to work with them. We worked with "Uncle Nick" to find us an X3 that was affordable and good for driving in the snow. Immediately he made us feel like family. He introduced us to the coffee/tea/soda area and then listened to what exactly we needed in a car. He then took our needs and gave us multiple options. He pulled out a few cars from the lot to look at with different price ranges so we wouldn't feel pressured. He then worked with our price range to make sure we felt comfortable with our monthly payments. Most salesmen will leave you as soon as their part is done, but not Uncle Nick. While we waited for the financing department, Uncle Nick took the extra steps to show us all the functions of our car. He helped us download the app. He asked about us and our lives and shared about his own. His family also works here so it's like a family business. Just wonderful treatment without being pressured into making a purchase. We are trading in our car but it's stuck because of the snow and ice. Uncle Nick is going to have it picked up free of charge so that we don't have to risk driving the rear wheel drive. He also refilled the tank of the newly bought X3 while we waited. Let me start by saying that Robbie in sales is amazing and Mark in parts is the best. That being said I have gone from absolutely loving everyone here to being disappointed, to say the least. A year ago I bought an X5 from Robbie. Everything was great. I refinanced my loan 2 months ago so I canceled the gap insurance I had for the loan. I contacted Alan, he sent over docs for me to sign, I got them back to him same day and he said "if you don't see the refund in a month let me know." Month came and went, 5 then 6 weeks. Now 2 months. They went literally days without responding to me. 4 days ago they say "your VIN # wasn't on your paperwork (it took 2 months to find that out??) my lender sent over the refi docs within minutes. Then I was told it "should" process quickly. I asked several times this week if I could PLEASE pick up the refund check. Pamela, in accounting finally answered me, said it was processed and she would ask if she could cut the check there at the dealership for me, said she'd "let me know." 45 minutes ago I asked if she could please let me know before the end of the day. She let me know alright. Told me it was "processed and should see it in 10-14 days." TEN TO FOURTEEN MORE DAYS. So I guess when you're a poor like me you don't really matter. Ya know, when they want their money it's RIGHT NOW. But when it's a refund due to you, it's whenever they feel like it. read more

took my car back in after repair and they did fix what was not plugged back in by them to make the dash lights work. they worked before I took it in for repairs. I tried texting and calling to see if it was done after they gave me a loaner. I had to go in myself to see if it was done and it was, a week beforehand. no call no text. however they did waive some damage charges that scratched the rear bumper. my car has dash lights and a speedometer again. still unsure if I would take my vehicle back to a Lithia run dealership again. just unsatisfied with the $6500.00 repair bill. transmission is still clunky in my opinion and no solution for that. I was a mechanic for 15 years and I wouldn't say it was good work or the work was verified by the technician or service advisor before I picked up my vehicle. I am just in happy with what I paid for. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel that it was definitely earned in this case. In short, I was able to get a deal on a brand new X5 from my couch on Thanksgiving and had them drive it my house for delivery the next day at no extra cost. I inquired about a new X5 on Thanksgiving and was not expecting to get any type of response until the next day. However, Robbie responded within a few minutes and was willing to answer all my questions and do whatever needed to be done. We communicated through text messaging, which made it even easier. We went back and forth on communication until after 9 PM (I believe they closed at 7 PM) so that we could make sure all my questions were answered. Robbie got everything approved the next morning and started getting all the paperwork together. Again, so far, I was able to do this all via text messages. Dave then called to verify a few things for finance, and Robbie headed out once he was done with all of his other deals that he had that day as well. Since Robbie had a late start leaving Spokane and it was foggy, he didn't get into Yakima until almost 9:45 PM (that is not a typo). My wife and I took a quick look around the car, signed all the paperwork, and he gave us a tutorial of all the features of the vehicle. He then took my trade car and drove back that night (probably not getting back to Spokane until almost 3 AM). He then even e-mailed me the next morning at 8 AM to check in. The service that we received at BMW of Spokane from Robbie was nothing short of spectacular. I've bought may cars in my life, but never from my couch Robbie was amazing to work with, and I highly recommend that you ask for Robbie if you need a car from BMW of Spokane. read more

Buyer beware...... I am an 83 year old widow and had gone to look at a car I really wanted at this dealership. It still needed some work and it wasn't drivable for a test drive yet. So the Salesman kept my daughter and I updated on the progress of the work and invited us to come back to drive said vehicle when it was ready. I told him i would take the car and pay cash along with a possible trade-in, and was also told that it wasn't necessary to put a down on it, and the Salesman was having it sent for their 160 point Inpsection, keeping us updated on the progress. Here's where it got dirty. The next call we get is the Salesman informing us that while he was not at work, another Salesman sold the vehicle to someone who wanted the car as-is. It is sad when you sell a car out from under someone, giving them the understanding that the car was theirs. Yes, there should have been a deposit put on the vehicle, but you trust a dealership when they say a deposit is not necessary. Management, you need to do what is right morally. You could have called and asked for a deposit because someone else had interest. We didn't even get the choice. I just got screwed by one dealership, and was feeling better about getting this vehicle, but now I have been screwed over twice now. Car dealerships are just as bad as horse traders nowadays. They offered to make it right, we opted to not support a business that did their customers this way. It was all about the money, not about the customer. So please, change your business practices. We will be going elsewhere. read more

ABSOLUTE CRAP SERVICE DEPT. We scheduled ahead over a week onlline. We dropped the car off in the morning before hours and there was no pen in the drop box to write on the envelope. We figured that they could deduce that our 435i xdrive Msport in blue was the one scheduled for 9:00 am. Nope they couldnt even call and ask when the nine oclock appt went by. The woman in the service department was a robot and didnt have any ideas on why this happened and said that they didnt pay anyone to make phone calls to the customers. The man who returned my car moved the seat all around and moved the steering wheel on purpose after i told them i was taking it away. A clueless bunch of service people. We have three BMW's and an AUDI and will never give them a chance again. C & H foreign auto is close by and the European Auto Haus has always been great. read more

"Lost Child in Expensive Car Dealership" Do you look nothing like a 45+ year old overweight dad? Are you wanting to look and feel like a little child all over again? Then you need to come check this place out! I went to BMW of Spokane to look at a specific car that this place had a few of, and well...I think I now remember what it was like to be 10 again when "dad takes you to his work." I waited for quite a while until a representative came by to see if I've been talked to yet. This guy, was Derrick. Derrick is cool. Derrick was busy assisting another couple on a potential car deal, but he took his time to make sure I would get some help. But immediately after watching Derrick go tell the 5+ overweight dads that I am looking to buy a car, no one came by. I had all the time in the world, like a little child, and I looked at every single car on the showroom floor. I even opened doors, made sounds, tried making eye contact, but all of the overweight dads just completely ignored me. I watched two other people (older gentlemen, definitely dads) come in after me, and both were immediately assisted as they walked through the door....okay...cool. Apparently I am a lost child in an adult car store, playing around with showroom cars that no overweight dad wants to assist. But nonetheless, I finally got some assistance and got down on some "car talk." If you don't know how to talk to strangers, well...you're in for a treat. Luckily, I am very well-rounded on how finances work and I know how to negotiate and ask the right questions. However, if you know none of this...well, you'll be super pressured to sign a deal right then and there not knowing what you just agreed to. The representative that sat with me, seemed like he just didn't want to be there; it's as if I interrupted his meal time or something, but that's okay...let's just give the benefit of the doubt and say that all of the salesman dads were really really busy. Ultimately, I was being pushed to buy a car at a very high interest rate (when I already had a pre-approved better one), they were confident in the price being competitive (even though a quick search would show that the price on the car was an easy 15% over the three other options I found that were newer with way lower miles), and really...I was just a little child after all. I think after waiting a near 200 years to be talked to, to only be pressured to buy now, I just won't go back here at all. If I were in the new car market, then I might come here. And only then I would request to work with Derrick specifically, as he was the only guy there that saw me as an adult and not a lost little child. I had the ability to buy nearly any car there; hopefully they focus more on their childcare programs at the dealership. read more

If I could have given zero stars I would have. I communicated the following to our Sales Person, Matthew Gipson, Sales Manager, Corey Moore, Assistant GM, Harry Cunningham, and Phil Booker, the GM @ Lithia. I started this process on 12/7/22 and after getting no response, or hung up on, I continued up the chain, but after one month of no replies and no resolution I was forced to buy replacement tires at a cost of $1,500. We recently purchased a 2022 X3 from BMW Spokane and with the recent snow I had a question about the tires and their performance in the Inland NW Climate/Snow. I noticed some slipping and wanted to confirm the tire type. Matt confirmed they are Summer Performance times and not good in the snow or to be used under 45 degrees. (Even though it's been about a month since the first snow, my response was a bit delayed as we were in Canada for the birth of my first granddaughter.) My issue is that in looking at the X3 we clearly communicated to Matt our needs in regards to winter performance; good in the snow, AWD, appropriate tire for the Inland NW, etc... A basic all-around good car for our needs that would do well in the Inland NW climate. (We previously had an Acura MDX and wanted something similar to it, just a little smaller.) Ultimately the car we were sold came with Summer Performance tires. In talking to Matt I felt it was a bit of a Bait and Switch as we clearly communicated our needs for AWD and Winter performance but the car he sold us, and that we test drove, had Summer Performance tires, I trusted Matt but in hindsight shouldn't have, the message from Matt was "Don't trust" and the buyer should have inspected everything. (Lesson learned on my part, I thought buying from a reputable dealer would have made a detailed inspection un-necessary, but I guess I was wrong.) Your website says, "To prove we always put our customers' needs first, our most recent accolade was in being recognized as a "Top Rated Dealer 2020" by CarGurus.". Huh??? So, now I'm stuck with a new car with poor winter performance, even though this was communicated as a core need and I've got 2,500 miles on a tire that doesn't meet my needs. I came to shop for a 2025 BMW X5. today. The sample board of exterior colors and interior trims was "being updated" and was missing most samples, so we went to view same in real time (ie, in cars on the lot). The first salesman Moe had just started a couple months ago so realized (which I appreciate although after 2 mos how can he not know ow the names of the interior trim options?!) he was in over his head with my questions and passed me off to Andrew. I asked to see a 5 series sedan but he could not find the key so I never got to do anything more than look through the windows. I had studied X5s in depth prior to coming to the dealership and knew Andrew was providing incorrect information about available options but continued anyway. I felt like a complete burden to Andrew, who did not try to show or sell me anything, and at one point after I looked inside about 4 cars literally said, "Have you seen enough to place an order?" My husband and I promptly left, despite being tempted to buy an X3 off the lot, due to the complete disinterest of the salesman and went to the Porsche dealer instead. It's amazing to me that an $80k+ transaction isn't worthy of more effort. Andrew didn't even ask for our contact information, so apparently was as put off by us as we were of him??? We have had similar experiences with Spokane BMW in the past (no return call to schedule oil change, price increased upon arrival on a part we ordered, sales price on our 2022 X5 was $20k higher than the dealer in SD we ended up purchasing from)...we wanted to give Spokane BMW one more chance, but after today: never again. Living in a state where there isn't a BMW dealership, we drive to Spokane every year to get the annual inspection done on our X7. The service department is always great but this year they were amazing! We found out after a standard oil change that the differential had gone out in the car. Many Thanks to Steffan our service liaison. He was on the case instantly, getting parts ordered, providing us with a loaner and keeping us informed. Unfortunately, we had to get back home but it wasn't an issue. Steffan took care of us with the loaner and set up service to have our BMW delivered. If I could I'd rate Steffan and the service team 10 stars. Unparalleled service and kindness, this is what owning a luxury car is about. Thank you again and see you next year! read more

Bought a car off the lot, 2 days later it wouldn't go more that 10 mi an hour. When I brought it back they would only do trade-in value towards one of the other cars on the lot! Got a Hyundai for trade-in, which ended up being at a $2,000 loss, and the clutch went out. The clutch ended up being a dual Mass flywheel and was $2,000 to fix.. Walking on the this lot was one of the WORST mistakes of my life. So they let me take a 2 day ride in a BMW for $2,000, and then sold me a Hyundai that I ended up selling to Pull and save after a couple years. I will never forget how badly I was screwed over by this place. And I intend to make sure people know about this while this place is still around. Customer service means nothing to this place.
