Picked up my 2024 Lexus from Spokane Findley Lexus service department today with a new dent in the back. I've had this car a year and a half and it only has 3,500 miles on it. It's cared for like a baby, has its own garage with nothing else in it. Here are a couple of postservice department photos. I went to Findlay for some engine issues and they recommended rebuilding the head gasket estimating about a week turnaround. The cost was $4,500 which is very expensive but I was desperate to have a vehicle to drive. It took much longer than a week (about a month actually). When I finally picked up me vehicle, I drove 9 blocks and the engine made a loud noise and broke down. A rod shot through or something and oil was everywhere (basically the mechanics failed, and clearly did not even test drive my vehicle before sending it home and collecting their large sum of money). Took my 2018 Lexus RX 350 for simple oil change, service advisor Ricky Johnson told me it was seeping from the front seal, never dripped a drop on garage floor or driveway. After a year of checking around at other shops and lexus dealers, figured I would just spend the 4100.00 and get it done. The reason the cost for a cheap seal to be changed is everyone says the engine must be removed to do it properly. After leaving my bea car, with only 84,000 miles on it for 4 days Ricky Johnson called and told me it is almost ready, also informed me the service technician did not remove engine Like we agreed on, and signed service contract agreement stating I will pay 3800 plus tax and they would remove engine, replace water pump, front and rear seal, and spark plugs. I immediately contacted both Lexus of Seattle, and Findlay Lexus and was told it is impossible to do this process without removing the engine. I went and looked under the car prior to picking it up and oil pan was covered in oil, took pictures. Went in and spoke to Ricky Johnson and explained we had a written agreement and they failed to adh to the agreement. He sent car back to the technician to be cleaned and assured me it would be ok. I picked the car up a few days later and took for 830 mile ride, when got back took car to Japanese Auto service for inspection, was told they found oil, cleaned it off, could not tell for certain if it was a new leak or just not cleaned properly. One week later took it to Parker Toyota and service technician called me back to show me car was leaking, I seen the oil, touched the oil, and took a picture of the oil. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Called Findlay Toyota and spoke to genera Manager Dave Short, he was very apologetic, thanked me for using Finley Toyota, and trusting them with my . Mr. assured me that if I brought the car back, he would have their engine and do the work properly, replace anything that they had damaged, video record the process and send me a copy of the video[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. On Friday morning I sent the car to Garland Auto service, to have it inspected before dropping it off, Zach the owner called me and told me there was a considerable amount of oil on front timing chain cover and oil pan. The following Monday, I drop the vehicle off happy that it would finally be done right, only to receive a video the following day from the service that the underside of my car had all been cleaned, and had been put in the car's oil and they were going to drive it. This is the exact reason I spent money at 3 different shops prior to taking the car back to Findlay toyot, I felt I could no longer trust them after lying to me about the work they were going to perform. then to have them clean oil off and lie about it also lets me know just what kind of service deportment they operate. The problem they never tell people is they estimated job on a "flat rate time manual ", my car was 20 hours, the service technician gets paid 20 hours labor for that job if it takes him 10 hours or 30 hours! This causes the problem, of course we all want to get paid as much as we can, and the cost of this short cut damaged my car and made it no longer trustworthy, and Dave Short , findlay Toyota refused to fix it or return my money. The team at this Toyota shop went above and beyond to rescue a kitten trapped in my engine compartment. A kitten had run across the street and up into my car after I stopped to check on it. When I was struggling at a gas station, Ruschard who works at Toyota immediately offered his assistance after both animal control and the fire department couldn't help. They brought the car to their shop and worked tirelessly until they safely rescued her. Their dedication and expertise saved the kitten's life, and their kindness didn't stop there - one of them even took her home! I'm sure they have fine customer service people, salespeople and mechanics... assuming that they exist. I wouldn't know because I can never speak to any of them. There's this thing called a telephone, you might want to consider answering it once in a while. I brought my car down for a simple battery replacement on Monday 6/3... 11 days ago. It took them 3 days to figure out my car was there and then when it was ready to be picked up, coincidentally "their Internet went down." That was a week ago. I have been calling multiple times every day. No one picks up a phone. All voice mail boxes are full. How in holy hell do you run a business this way? And even if there is an Internet outage forcing a temporary closure you'd think there'd be some indication of it and an ETA on their website. You're telling me no one there has access to an Internet capable computer and can put a freaking banner on a website? Their Twitter account hasn't had a post since 2023. Writing this review is a last resort to get their attention because I have tried everything else save from calling the POLICE. I'd come down in person but.... yeah, they have my car. read more

A lot of people give 1 star reviews for really lame reasons and it affects businesses. Maybe due your Due Diligence and stop being so lame and reach out to a business before giving a1 star review for a water spot on your window or being a nagging purchaser that wants everything handed on a silver platter while being a terrible person to another human. I appreciate my local Toyota store. They always are courteous and knowledgeable with excellent customer service. It recently changed ownership but the people that work there are still awesome and hardworking and they always go the extra mile in the service department with tidbits of information on your vehicle. I have always used Toyota for my various Scion cars in South Florida and now Spokane. You really can't go wrong. I always book a 730am appointment and am usually first in line and have to wait several hours for my cars basic service checkup but here in spokane I also have them add and or remove my snow tires and I'm in and out in under 1.5 hours, now this might be a fluke but I'll take it. Well visiting Spokane, my wife had an issue with our 21 Sienna. Called Toyota roadside and they sent out a driver with a flatbed to try to jump the car, unfortunately it didn't work had the car towed to Miller Toyota Spokane, where they offered a loaner car. The next morning knowing that my wife was returning home the next day they looked at the car and found out that one cell of the battery had failed, they put in a new 12 volt battery and we're good to go.!  I was wondering why the car was odd from time to time. I recently tried to buy a Tundra from them. I was dealing with salesman named Mike and thought he was going to help me find the right Tundra. I showed up the next day Tuesday 12/22/20 to test drive one. Mine wasn't working and he recommended Jerod. I walked in and saw the receptionist and she was on the phone. She didn't greet me or asked me to hold on (red flags). Then a customer came in after me and was immediately helped. I pursued to walk around to finally someone asking me if I needed help. I said I was there to meet Jerod. Jerod came up to me and told me he's busy and introduced me to Chris Williams (red flag #2). Chris then let me test drive the Tundra which I liked the vehicle. After that we went over paperwork and he wasn't helpful. They didn't like my trade in (because negative equity) he simply said they can't help me. He didn't try to find me a different vehicle or give me other options. He simply said he was done and I left upset. I felt if they really wanted my business he would have given me options or tried to help me find a vehicle. Instead showed me the door and worked on the next customer. I didn't like the way it all went down and I will never go back there to purchase a vehicle. I did get my Tundra I had to go to Parker Toyota in Coeur d' Alene where Josh Miller helped me out and gave me options. But that's another review for their page. ROBBERY. I feel bad for all the people this place has likely taken advantage of. I went in to the service department because I was having some issues with my FJ Cruiser after replacing a battery. Long story short, my car was at the dealership for 3 days and nobody got around to looking at my car. They didn't even start it up. It sat there for 3 days and all they did was pull a few codes, which I'm assuming took all of 5 minutes. I called for an update because I hadn't heard from them regarding what was going on, and then was informed that fixing the issue would cost upwards of $4,000. Needless to say, I went and picked up my car and took it to a different repair shop. Turns out, labor and parts combined were only $1,500, AND I was dealt with in a timely and polite fashion. Shame on LHM Toyota for upcharging by thousands of dollars. This is not the first time I have had a negative experience at this dealership and after this, I will NOT be returning. I recommend taking your business elsewhere. They just want your money. read more

purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GS Coupe on November 20th 2021. The sale went great, no issues with that as Tyson and Shane were awesome to work with. My issue is the lack of integrity by selling a vehicle with major issues. I recently replaced the front rotors and pads and noticed both ball joint boots are torn. I also noticed a smell of coolant in the cabin of the car indicating a heater core issue. After about a half hour yesterday morning I found the coolant leak. It is right at the motor inlet where the outlet heater hose is clamped. Another issue, the engine has a lower end tick/knock which indicates piston slap as this engine has a known defect and Hyundai has settled a class action lawsuit over it. Obviously had I known this would be how Larry H Miller Toyota sells used cars I would have never purchased this vehicle. 1/18/2022 I have replaced both lower control arms and heater hoses on my own dime. 2/11/2022 I have confirmed the engine cylinders were scored from piston slap with a bore scope. 2/15/2022 I was fortunate enough to trade the Elantra for a 2019 Toyota Corolla at AutoNation Toyota for what I currently owed. Still lost nearly $5500 between dealership mark up, taxes/registration, and parts. read more

Instead, the salesman tried to push me into buying a brand new car, and ran a hard report on my credit not once but ELEVEN times without being clear about what they were doing, and then ran it AGAIN two days later after I had left the dealership! This was all in all a horrible experience with salespeople approaching me saying, "Congrats on your new car!" before I had made any decision at all. We set an appointment to meet with a salesman, as my wife and I have been kicking tires for a little for big vehicle for our growing family. Our salesman bailed on our appointment and did not say word. The receptionists completely ignored us , which was odd. When someone finally acknowledged us, we told them who we were looking for and he didn't show up to our appointment. They find another salesman who approached us staring at his phone. The staff giggled when we told them the vehicle we were looking for, as if we couldn't afford it. Looking to purchase a 50k vehicle, and getting treated like a nuisance don't go together. We were treated terribly. We returned from the test drive and never looked back. Went to Subaru instead and had the exact opposite experience. My husband and I took a second chance on larry h miller. In short, we were very dissapointed in the service our sales person had to offer. The person I was working with ,both times I came down to the dealership to look at two different cars, told me "you should look at the market more" and to " go home and talk with your husband". The second time I came in to test drive a car the salesman lied to me twice, and then took over 20 minutes to tell me that the "near perfect " car had to have its belt , and brakes replaced. Unfortunately it had a recall and so we could not purchase the car then. Our options were to wait, find another car or they even offered to let us have one of their cars to use until 'our car' became available (we did not take them up on that). We decided to wait because Larry Miller dealerships have always given us fair, top-notched service. They kept us updated and repeated several times the option to give us a car until ours was fixed. Finally last week the car had the recall part replaced and we picked it up. We are very happy with the car and the dealership. I'd recommend them (and will) to anyone. read more

Recently turned in a leased Rav4 to them after three years of 400+payments. Upon return on a Saturday, got the run around that the "leasing person" wasn't in. Had to wait until the following week. Went in and then they said the leasing guy stepped out. Turned the car in and got the A-Okay that all was well. Yesterday got a bill for $211 because a fog light was supposedly broken. It wasn't when we turned it in. After much time, many phone calls, and talked with many people passing the buck, I was told that there was nothing they could do. A truly poor service experience. I would suggest buying a Toyota, but from any other dealership. I simply do not want to waste time telling all of the different things that went on buying our car, and we did buy one from LHM, but just trust me that you should go elsewhere. And if you think management cares about your experience you are wrong. I made the sales manager, finance manager and general manager all aware of our poor service and did not receive a single "I'm sorry" but rather excuses for their incompetence and poor service. Love our Toyota, hated our experience at LHM Toyota. Buy Somewhere Else!!!! I am updating my review. I continue to have problems here. They were unable to complete the financing in 2 weeks so we had to reapply with our bank. Now our interest rate is 1% higher costing an additional 800$ in interest. No resolution for this. Recently took my Prius in for routine maintenance. Opening lever for rear hatch was sticking and I had developed a "glitch" in my radio screen. BTW this is a 2006 Prius. Service guy told me that to fix the hatch opener they would need to replace the entire assembly (a bit of $1000) . and to fix the screen, it would cost $3000 or so. Seemed very steep to me so I did some checking around. I fixed the rear hatch problem with a $12 kit and a few squirts of WD40. The screen can be refurbished. I was a little concerned about removing the screen to have it sent in to the refurbisher. Turns out you need only remove three screws and disconnect 4 plugins to do so. Refurbishing will cost $400. Now you tell me, why didn't the service advisor talk about anything except the absolute most expensive way to deal with my issues? Spending $4000 on an old car is just insane. I will probably continue to have my routine maintenance done at Larry H Miller. Going forward, I will never let them do any major work for me unless there are no other alternatives. This outfit does not look out for the customer, they are all about maximizing their profit margin. read more

For nine years I brought my 2007 Prius to be serviced at this dealer, and I've never once been disappointed. The service people are great. They are efficient, friendly, and do good work. All of them. However, when I decided to buy a new RAV4 Hybrid, the sales team was crapola. I knew exactly what I wanted, and they couldn't get it for me while Autonation did--in a day. The reason? Larry H. Miller does not play well with others. None of the dealers in the area will trade with them. Plus, the stink of desperation drove me away. Worse, the sales team resorts to cheap marketing tricks. I just got another hand-addressed envelope in the mail, with a shakily handwritten post-it stuck to a fake email asking a "friend" to let me know that David Short, General Sales Manager, wanted this "person" to get in touch with me so he could give me a good deal on trading in my Prius. Since it was postmarked in Santa Ana, CA, I assume this is a nationwide effort. Good grief. How about providing good service and good straight-up deals instead of resorting to cheesy marketing? read more

I have used LHM Toyota service and parts department. It must be the new shiny building, but the prices are super expensive. As an example, I needed a new weather stripping part for one of my doors. I was quoted $38 for the part over the phone. When I went to pickup the part, the price had changed to $105 which is significantly above Toyota's suggested retail price. I went to another Toyota dealer and bought the part for $32. Unfortunately I won't be using LHM Toyota any longer for maintenance or parts. read more

I received an email saying the vehicle I was interested was on the lot. I made an appointment for the next morning and drive in from out of state to find out the dealership agreed to trade the vehicle to another dealership and was no longer available. That sucked because we drove 30 miles to buy the vehicle. Oh well, it happens I suppose. We were guaranteed they could get us another vehicle within one week, no problem. We knew there were inventory issues due to COVID-19, and let them know we were worried about being able to get the truck we wanted. After 3 hours of doing paperwork, running credit, and getting the deal we wanted they said "sorry, there are no trucks for you after all." We were treated horribly and would not recommend.
