Great experience buying my BMW here, all thanks to Steve B. I was recommended to a local dealer by a close friend who has referred over 10 sales to them, but their salesperson's while friendly wasn't quite honest. Steve, on the other hand, was completely trustworthy, transparent, and easily the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. It was the last day of the month so it was clearly one of their busiest day but it was service with a smile! By the time I finished up meeting with finance, it was about 11:00 PM. Steve should have headed home since my business with him was done, but he stayed until the very end just to shake my hand and say congratulations. I did not buy my 5 series here, but I now come here for service. The BMW dealership where I did get my car was great, but service was always a sticking point. They were fine for the routine stuff, but something that required a bit more legwork...not so much. I've had a rattle in my headliner for just about a year now, and my previous dealership had my car for a combined 3 weeks over the course of 2025 trying to fix it. I get it, it's hard to pinpoint sometimes, but after 3 videos and 2 road tests with the shop foreman all confirming the noise, the latest visit this past Fall (9 days) resulted in a "it's coming from the passenger seat and we need to order a part that's on backorder" - needless to say, I gave up, and said magical part has yet to materialize. I took a few months off from this adventure, and brought my car to Springfield in December. A simple 7-minute drive with the foreman confirmed the noise, its origination point, and it was fixed within 3 days. I got a loaner no problem, and I now have my car back less a noise that was driving me nuts every time I hit a bump. And Jersey City has a lot of bumps. This is a very long winded way of saying they clearly pay attention to the big and the small, and the hunt for the elusive headliner rattle proved no match for the team. Cherry on top, the drive to Springfield vs. my old dealership is a lot better anyways. read more

Stan, Gus, Nick. Dream Team! Stan is a relationship manager, not a salesman. He helped guide me into which car is best for my wants and needs and raised relevant pros/cons that I had yet to consider. Stan has gotten me into my dream car and I am absolutely elated. Gus is super knowledgeable when it comes to the features within the car itself. He helped to answer all of my questions and show me features that I otherwise would have never found. Nick is very patient and helpful. He assisted me in weighing the options for extended coverage / protections. He was not pushy at all and enabled me to feel that I was getting a good deal while being covered. I was not happy with the sales process. After I said that I would buy the car at MSRP, the next day I was told that an out of state person is offering $10,000 above MSRP but the dealership would try to do something for me. They eventually came back saying that I could have the car but added $2,500 over the MSRP. They clearly fabricated this story to get more money out of me. Fast forward 8-9 years later and I'm still coming here. Even though I got my newest car from Freehold - I still come here for service some of the time for convenience of where I live etc. If I ever have to come here for service.... I am very comfortable. On the spur of the moment visits when my tires need to be changed etc - I could wait in the waiting area which they did over. It has more of an open space to it now. Comfortable seats , Tv , 2 massage chairs and a pantry to get snacks and beverages. The service people always update me. If I need a ride someone while I wait- they can provide you with a shuttle somewhere close by. If I know I need a car because I'm doing something longer like a detail etc ... then I call ahead and schedule for a car rental. Process is smooth for the most part . I've never had an issues with the car rentals. Listen - when your car breaks down or needs repairs- it can suck BIG time . Really helps to have things like the tire/wheel service when you buy/lease your car. I've got them with every BMW and is worth it! Trust me! Some of the other devices are ehhh and sometimes you can live without them . I know that when the odometer goes over 100,000 then it's time to get a new car because it's sucks to repair after that. Everything starts to need replacement. Unless you have someone or a husband etc that knows how to fix things without going to dealership then do yourself a favor and get a newer model! Otherwise any visit to any dealer sucks cuz you will be pissed at all the things you need to replace. When you are under warranty- oil is changed, tires and rims replace, breaks replaced. So much less stress. Trust me - my last car - I tried to fix everything after 100,000 miles ... and I pretty much know everyone at the all surrounding BMW dealerships due to all the service I needed lol Anyway getting back to this dealership. I am usually very comfortable at the facility while waiting for my car and service is pretty good to me - from the men that greet u at your car to the front desk to your personal service rep to car parts person. read more

Liars and crooks. Brought my old BMW there for service and they proceeded to tell me it needed $10k in work. I thought because of the age (8-years but only 80k mikes) they were right. When I traded it in the dealer said there was nothing wrong. I didn't think much of it until I brought my new BMW there. How is it possible that my current vehicle needs the exact same $10k in work? Coincidence or a scam? It's a scam. Rude woman not even greeting people at the door. Made me wait an hour just to drop off my car. Used to have snacks and refreshments when it was JMK but they couldn't be cheaper now if they tried. Scam artists, cheap, and rude. Never again! read more

Ince my decision was made, Isabelle was very efficient in getting all my paperwork processed in a timely manner so that I didn't spend my entire day at the dealership. So I went up here to check out a particular car, but ended up getting a better deal on something else. I found this place on the internet, and touched base with the salesman there. It was this salesman, Ray, that really sold me on purchasing my new car. He is friendly, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. I've contacted him multiple times since my purchase and he's helped me every time! While there was a minor issue with another department being salty (I chose to finance with my bank rather than them), it was Ray that kept me at this dealership; he makes this dealership 4 stars in my opinion. read more

After having stopped by 2 prior dealerships with less than stellar experiences, I managed to strike gold with BMW of Springfield! I got a great deal on a brand new 2023 X3 and also turn in a lease early with one year left. Ryan Hamtil was as no-nonsense a sales rep as one could hope for with none of the games a lot of dealerships play! On the first day, Christian from the Genius group helped me on the test drive to get familiar with the controls of the car itself. On the next day, Gary from finance showed me the options and went over my monthly payment. On delivery of the car, Andrew from the Genius group went over setting up my new car and making sure all my questions were answered. This was about as pleasant an experience as one could hope for during the chip shortage era and I hope to be a lifelong BMW customer with this first one! Thanks, BMW of Springfield Team! Update: So about 6 months after I picked up an X3 from this dealer (for which I gave a 5-star review), I was in the market for an X7 and cross-shopping against the GLS450. I would essentially be buying 2 cars from them in less than a year so surely they would treat me right, I thought. In my initial visit, I asked for at least a $500 discount which was rejected and they made me feel like I should be privileged to pay MSRP. I went home and initiated a TrueCar search and the exact car I was looking at came up w/just under a $500 discount. Armed with this info, I went for a 2nd visit with my wife to finalize our decision. I presented the TrueCar offer to the dealer upon arrival and, surprise, surprise: Springfield BMW would not honor the offer. After the test drive, my wife liked the car but she had an affinity for Mercedes. The dealer tried to reason with her but she was not convinced. If you were in my position, you probably would have done the same as me and stayed quiet as you were not given any financial incentive to continue. This dealership lost out on a transaction (we bought a GLS) and confirmed the following: 1) An existing customer can and will be treated like any other customer (I could get MSRP or better from Paul Miller or any other number of local BMW dealers). 2) They will not honor the TrueCar price and should probably rethink their relationship w/TrueCar! read more

LOVE the service department (This review is strictly for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT)- these guys ALWAYS TAKES CARE OF ME!!! So I came here yesterday for an oil change and the service advisor informed me that I had an oil leak and so offered me a loaner. I came on a Wednesday so I wasn't there long at all. He was courteous, answered my questions, and gave me my options. The GREAT thing that I LOVE about this dealer is that every time they've given me a loaner- they've always given me a new model car or a higher series (gift and a curse lol). When I first came to this dealer I was driving a "2005 3 series" - they gave me a "2014" 3 series loaner and I ended up trading my car in for that same model. Then I came for another service appointment and they gave me a 4 series loaner and guess what!? I later on (within the year) purchased the 4 series!! These guys know what they are doing but in a good way! I once made the mistake of going to another BMW service department?? NEVER AGAIN- the service was HORRIBLE and I had to wait all day to get my car serviced. As long as you guys keep doing what you are doing - you will continue to have a loyal customer ;) read more

Terrible experience. I was buying a used m340i as an out of state purchase. I searched a long time for the exact car, color, and set of options I wanted. I researched the dealer too, and thought the reviews were reliable. Isabella misrepresented the condition of the exterior and interior: she described the exterior as "perfect" but when the car arrived, there were a dozen nicks and dings, and scratches down to the metal on each front door. Scratches to the interior leather as well. Months of back and forth with a "Guest Experience Director" in which I jumped through one hoop after another only resulted in a denial of responsibility. They were professional, Gabriel followed up and answered all of my questions. However I felt the cleaning of the car was not to my liking. From 5 star to 1 star. First time for this. Several of us leased BMW's from this dealer back in 2017. At the time they were very attentive, had excellent service and fair pricing. Now, we can't get the GM Gene Mosco to even respond to any inquiry on a new lease. Gene is not an honest person. Says one thing and does another as long as he gets what he wants. I personally sent him a ton of business and he never did what he said after. In fact, stop responding completely. Mike Blomgren the new car sales manager also failed to respond to any inquiry about a new car lease. Several of our leases end at the end of March 2020. What kind of car dealer especially a luxury brand doesn't follow up or even try to see if you want to re-lease? The one you want to avoid doing any business with. Must be a new way to sell I've never considered. Why BMW would allow this to represent their brand is beyond me. Clearly the owner of the dealership has put too much faith in his Fox guarding the Hen house. read more

Purchased a new BMW here over a month ago and am still waiting on Registration transfer (which they charged me for). I had to put on my own Temporary plate at the dealership (borrowed a screwdriver from the front desk) - I was pushed to a random associate after paperwork was signed and they forgot about me. I called a week before Temporary plates were due to expire (I am still waiting on the registration), letting the dealer know that I was concerned the plates would expire before receiving the registration. First off - He did not know who I was. He just gave me a generic "Trust me i've done hundreds of these, the registration will be there before the temp plates expire." Plates have expired, still no registration. Now I can't reach him at all (left multiple voicemails) and my car has expired plates. I made an appointment to test drive a 3-series with Cristian. He was friendly, respectful, and helpful through the process, even when I told him I had some issues with the car and its structural layout (the B and C pillars were blocking my blind spots more than I was OK with). He was professional about it, and most importantly, did not try to give me the hard sell or to pull the "we could work with your needs" situation. When I told him I'd keep the car in consideration if one could be had with blind spot sensors, he said that he would be happy to help me track one down and bring it in when the time came. I felt like I was well-treated through every step, even when I had brought up something that couldn't really be overcome. It was respectful, even when I wasn't an instant paying customer - that's the mark of professionalism.
