I was really hesitant because of the reviews and I'm so glad I decided to come in anyways. I broke my acrylic toenail in half and they were able to reconstruct it and do a fresh French pedi on me as a walk in. My pedicurist was so sweet and detail oriented. This place continuos to have the lowest quality of costumer service. I was hoping to become a regular considering it's so conveniently located but no. My first encounter with the gentleman at the front desk left things to be desired, he was rude, condescending, and borderline annoyed that I was asking for availability for a pedicure. Today I tried again, maybe I perceived the initial encounter in the wrong way. But once again, I was proved correct when the I showed up at 4:30 wanting the same service, a pedicure, but the door was locked despite costumers being there and some waiting. The owner unlocked the door, looked me up and down and told me "sorry, we're closed." However, their hours stated they were still open. I walked away, they don't want my business that's fine; I will go somewhere else. The hostility and plain bad attitude are not worth it. The one pedicure I got was mid at best. Their only redeeming quality is their Hispanic tech, she's quite sweet and respectful. read more

I came here last minute needed a pedicure and they had availability on Saturday. Their prices arent too insane considering how expensive a regular pedicure can be at other places. Lily was super sweet and I will definitely ask for her if I go back again. I didn't do my research before coming and this place has terrible reviews. I didn't note anything of concern, so I'd likely come back. It's also decorated nice and a calm vibe.! read more

If you're thinking about going here DON'T. Save your money. This salon has consistently disappointed me, but today was the final straw. Every time I've come in, I've had to coach the nail tech through basic things like filing and polishing neatly--something I expect to be standard. I asked for a specific nail style and was very clear about what I wanted. Instead, I got the exact opposite. When I politely pointed it out, the tech got defensive and even told me, "You should get somebody else to do it."..., she attempted it again & still wrong. And when I expressed my frustration, she laughed in my face and said, "There's nothing I can do about it." I walked out with nails I didn't ask for. $125 later. Amazing Customer service . read more

Kathy the Owner did my nails, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. She was unprofessional and seemed unsure of what she was doing. After I mentioned something about my nails she throw a verbal altercation. I wasn't asking for much just simple short French nails but even that wasn't done properly. The shape of each nail is inconsistent, and the polish application is messy and uneven. read more

The women are great here but the man is so rude I have to find a new place to go. Came in to have a crack in my nail fixed and while I'm showing him he answers the phone and stops talking to me. I waited 20 minutes hoping he would give me direction but he never spoke to me again. read more

I started coming here in 2017, when a nail fill cost $17 and if you were a regular they would not charge extra for a "cut" (drill sand) down. As of yesterday the prices has gone up to $35. Girl bye. This place isn't particularly nice or clean and the owners are grumpy assholes. read more

If you're reading this, I suggest you find another nail salon. I was going there for about two years regular customer go every 7 to 14 days just depending on my mood just to get pampered honestly never really particularly picked a nail technician always just got whoever was available recently started going to Quang start off good very quiet. He is exactly as described grumpy and not happy to have a job Nonetheless he always did my nails so I couldn't really care up until one time. I voiced my frustration which that I had just got my nails done a couple days before and I was unhappy with the job. He proceeded to tell me to never come back. got aggressive, and I left at the end of the day. I'm paying for a service and I should be treated with respect, especially if I'm treating them respect. I work hard for my money. So if I'm paying for something I expect to be happy. read more

The worst service ever!!! Please don't go to this salon!! Everyone is rude, unprofessional and they have no idea how to do nails. While I was doing my nails I was giving them some indications and the lady stand up and told me she can't do my nails because she's to stressed out and ask me to go to other salon. The owner is a miserable old man who always has a nasty attitude. I had accumulated points over time since I'm a regular customer. I've been coming here for over a year and am a good tipper! Not the best experience, brought my sis for a facial next door so had an hour to kill and decided to get my nails done. The nail tech was nice but my nail color/shade and shape was off on every nail. There was also a leak that landed on the tech's table, she brought it up to the attention of the manager/owner and she just ignored her. The nail tech seemed embarrassed and kept apologizing. They did a horrible job on both my toes and dip powder nails... soooo bad I had to go next day to another place to get my toes redo and my dip powder nails removed... worst experience ever, they didn't even offer any water or anything. They have room for improvement in customer service here. This was my first time getting dip powder so I didn't know what to expect. Look at the results and tell me if you would go there for this manicure -- to me it looks very thick around the edges and the manicure seems sloppy. I've had basic manicures by the women here before and they've been good. Overall I'd say there is a lack of proper communication with customers, or quality checks. When you ask questions you don't get a clear answer. I'd like to see them put more care into the customer service here for me to go back. read more

Convenient location and friendly staff but the pedicures seem unsanitary to me. The tool storage does not look clean at all and made me uncomfortable to see all the tools in just a bin all together. My toenails turned a strange color after a pedicure here and I've been religiously putting anti fungal on them to keep from getting worse. The place also is a bit cluttered looking and doesn't feel relaxing. read more

I came in for a gel mani and pedi on a Wednesday and by Saturday, 4 nails were chipped and peeling. I've always had really healthy nails and have other gel manicures last up to 6 weeks so this was ridiculous to me. I ended up peeling them all off because I would rather have no manicure than one that looks so old and horrible. Thankfully, the pedicure came out slightly better but even with that being true I still had nails chipping in just a few days. Just a huge waste of time and money honestly. It also took forever and I was there for 2.5 hours. Save yourself the time and money and just go somewhere else like I wish I had read more

Went here to get gel nails . Not even 2 days later; they are peeling off. And I noticed that she didn't even paint the entire nail on a few of them. I felt like a little child with tiny nails because she didn't paint the entire nail. I go back, ask to get them fixed. She only fixes a couple of them. Now all the other ones are chipping and peeling. Even the ones she redid. The gel hasn't lasted even a week. Do not go here. For $35 you could go somewhere else. Really not happy with it. Waste of money. read more

I recently moved near this nail salon so I thought I'd give it a try. Quang did my acrylics & besides doing them perfectly & with care, he was very quick! I accidentally broke a tip off one nail the very next day (due to my own carelessness with a boat anchor) and I walked in and he fixed it without any complaints! I highly recommend this nail salon! For starters, it is incredibly rude that the lady was on the phone throughout the entire manicure... it also doesn't help that she cut my finger, I was bleeding the entire time and she acted like it was my fault for bleeding so much. After she cut me, she tried to clean it with a marker/pen for removing the polish and then continued to use it on my other nails. Luckily for you, I don't have an infection/disease, cause I have a feeling that she uses it with other clients considering how "clean" she was. She asked me if I wanted to cut my cuticles, and I explained to her that I just wanted her to trim hangnails and whatever loose skin is left after pushing the cuticles back. She was cutting too much! (That's how she cut my finger) so I explained it to her again and she continued to do it. I should have left at that moment but I had an event to attend to and couldn't go with a half mani. They do have a wide selection of colors and overall, it looks like a pretty clean place. It just so happens that she works there. Probably never coming back. read more

They do an okay job with nails. Last time the lady convinced me to do dip powder instead of gel with my acrylics because it was better. I did the dip powder which I was charged 50 dollars for. The next time I come in for a refill they tell me they can't refill nails with dip powder. They had to take off all my acrylics(which ruins my nails) and do the process all over again. They charged me 50 dollars again. No wonder the lady said dip powder was better. They're getting way more money out of me instead of doing gel. read more

Been here a few times without an appointment and never had to wait. Today's experience... Nail tech was friendly and made conversation with me the whole time. My only complaint is the amount of skin that she removed near the cuticle. I prefer not to have so much taken out than have the skin grow back looking rough around the edges. My skin and nails are in good condition to require all that unnecessary clean up. Paid $40 for a regular mani & pedi. I'll be looking into another nail spot since I'm not too thrilled with the hit or miss of their service but since it's walking distance it does the trick. read more

I can't speak for anyone else in this establishment including "Kim" which I believe to be the owner or manager? So rude and unprofessional. Kathy is amazing I love her technique. She gives the best mani pedis. Always super carful while cutting around the cuticle. Takes her time with my big toe as it's in grown. Sandra was very nice and gentle with my feet as well. She did an amazing job. The place was clean and comfortable. The only thing was that the tools weren't in a fresh pouch before use. They were sitting in barbicide sanitizer which I think I prefer knowing that they were properly sanitized in autoclave. Also they were no drinks offered. Other than that I liked the place. Probably the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I live right above the salon so I have tried it on five occasions and every time I have gone in there they are very incompetent. They can't do even the simplest of designs. And they are not good with painting or shaping. I'm really not sure what they're good at or how they're open. I recommend nail venue it's close by! read more

Nobody answered the phone when I called to find out where they had moved to which is one block west across from Whole Foods. The salon was empty, and this may be the reason. Oh, and the salon's name has changed too! It is now called Satori. If you can find it, don't hesitate to book your appointment with this stylist as I is very pleased with her talent and service.

That day was a very special day, it was my mom's 100th birthday and we decided to give her some pampering. Wendy did an amazing job on her feet and hands and they were chatting, so I saw that my mom was truly enjoying herself. I would recommend Wendy for a pampering session with an older person, she was very attentive and had a good vibe. I will definitely hire her again.

This is a lovely new Nail Salon located in the Vizcayne building. Very clean, pretty decor, and a relaxing environment. They have the largest selection of colors and gel polishes I have ever seen in a salon! Staff is friendly, great service and the prices are super reasonable. I will definitely be back. read more

I asked her to cut down my nails and her answer was with a annoyed face"i will do it when i file them" and of course all she did was destroyed my nails with the filing. After i gave her $5 tip(which she didnt deserve) she didnt even say thank you! The place itself is not bad but employees like her make customers not come back.

At my initial appointment, my first assigned nail tech was very good, but a minor issue recurred, so I changed to another tech who did an excellent job month after month. During my appointments, I also became acquainted with a third tech (Lala) who is notorious in the shop for her exemplary artistic abilities. When my second full timer left the shop, I slotted in with Lala. Aside from being the friendliest nail artist I've known in a decade, she earns her reputation. My nails have never been better looking or healthier. Lala is meticulous and recognizes her name is on the work. She offers a full spectrum from classy single color, to French, to art, and up to the minute trends. Her artistic versatility is notable. The boutique is nice. Peacefully quiet. Clean. Accessible in midtown. Competitively if not reasonably priced. I don't personally sit for pedicures, but I have seen them performed frequently and quickly. Scheduling is quite accommodating. Communication is excellent with texts to confirm and remind of upcoming appointments. Appointments start on time. Emergencies are quickly attended. Highly recommended.

I wish I got the "hand massage with organic aromatherapy body oil" that was included in the price of $72, and that is the sort of thing I feel self-conscious asking for if missed so I didn't mention it. Overall, if I return I would try a more advanced nail set because the techs advertise their pieces and they look pretty cool, but for a simple design I would perhaps look somewhere else due to the cost.
