I made an apt for mani/pedi My toes were done and the lady left me under the foot drier for 35 minutes while she worked on a new customer. After 35 minutes, I stood up and walked to counter to pay for my toes. I had no time to wait around any longer for her to finish so I can get my hands done. I usually tip $20-$30 depending on the job. Which for a pedicure is a 100% tip roughly. No tips for this treatment. No one apologized. They double booked and left me waiting under the nail dryer for over half an hour. I will not be returning ever and I live one block away. Such a shame. read more

So I hate to be the person to be more inclined to leave a review for a bad experience, but I feel like I have a civil duty to warn people so they don't have to go through what I am going through right now. I went here after work today to get a pedicure and acrylic fill. The man doing my nails jabbed his instrument WAY too deep into the corner of my big toe. I jumped and told him that hurt, then he jabbed again EVEN DEEPER and I told him he really hurt me and to please stop. He seemed apologetic and stopped and moved on. I was in so much pain and worrying if the tools weren't properly cleaned that I would get an infection, so I asked him if he could put some peroxide on it. He sprayed some alcohol and put some kind of drops on it but then picked up his instruments AGAIN to do more digging and cutting on the same spot!!! I quickly told him please to not touch it, and he carried on with the pedicure. He seemed apologetic but honestly my toe was throbbing and I had sharp shooting pains going up my leg the whole time through my pedicure and fill. It's now over 3 hours later and I am still in incredible pain not just in my toe but my whole foot. My whole leg even feels numb and I am seriously hoping that the pain will soon subside and I won't get an infection. I poured peroxide on it and rubbed neosporin which should take care of the issue. But if I am still feeling pain after the weekend I will be inclined to go back and request a refund. I honestly feel like I shouldn't have even been charged for the pedicure after the man saw how badly he hurt me. I've never had an injury this bad in many years of getting my nails done regularly and this should really NOT happen. I most certainly will not be returning to this salon unless it is to demand my money back for the pain that the man has caused me. TLDR: There's plenty of nail salons downtown, save yourself the risk of being hurt and go somewhere else!! read more

I live right across the street, so I only go if I have an emergency. The staff is rude and pick and choose what customers they want to do based on $$ amounts. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! IT IS A SCAM! I wish it were possible to leave zero stars because this establishment deserves none. Not even one. This place is so horrible it deserves negative stars. So firstly let's start with the type of shitty job they do. The pedicure itself was decent. But the lady messed up on the shaping. Cut them crooked and blamed it on my nail! Secondly the paint job was awful!!! It was so awful I'm pretty sure my three year old cousin could do a way better job than what I received. My sister in law got a manicure which was also awful. The lady had to wipe them off and start over again literally 5 times! And even when she figured it out they came out lumpy. She also didn't put the first clear coat on which I always thought was mandatory when doing gel but according to her it's not. So if they fall of tomorrow I guess we'll know why. Now that the job they do is covered, and just to reiterate ITS AWFUL. Let's move on to the service. So even though I did not want to pay for the abomination of what they called a perfect manicure and pedicure, I still did because that's just who I am. I payed cash and my sister in law wanted to pay with a card. After waiting literally 10 min for them to get their shit together and try to figure out why the server "wasn't working" I just gave my sister in law cash just to be done with it. As we were walking out she checked her banking app and it showed that she was actually charged for the transaction. So we walked back in to tell them that she was charged on her card and asked for the cash back. They said no because on their side it shows that it did not go threw. So she called the bank to make sure it didn't go throw. But they confirmed with her that the transaction did indeed go throw and that she was charged the 33 dollars for the manicure and if she wanted the money back the nail salon would have to give her the cash back or she would have to file a claim which would take 7-10 business days and would require mailing in information. If I were a business owner trying to please my customer I would simply just give them the cash back in order to not force them to go through all of that. In her app it clearly shows that she was charged and we had the bank representative on the phone who was willing to tell them that she was indeed charged. But they didn't want to listen to any of that. So she was forced to file a claim. At this point we're both irritated and upset at how ridiculous they were being we did yell a little BECAUSE if they had just given the cash back it would have made everything a whole lot easier. THEY CALLED THE COPS ON US! We weren't in their face, we weren't purposely making a scene, we were simply just trying to settle this ordeal. When we asked for the receipt they told us no and to just wait. Sit over there and wait they said. Wait for the cops to come. Haha I just can't help but laugh because they literally just had to give us the cash and or void the transaction and we would have been on our way. So long story short my sister in law now has to file a claim with her bank which involves a long process just to get her money back. This place is a complete joke. And I would not be surprised if they do this to everyone. Hoping that people don't check their bank accounts. Pedicure tools are dirty and reused on multiple customers without sanitation, customers are scheduled within minutes of one another regardless of being overbooked, acetone is poured inside of polish so it'll last longer and not to mention upcharges made for services that should be included. I chose to get a pedi at BNT based on its proximity to the hotel in which i was staying. The salon is clean and bright and it takes walk-in appointments. There is a large variety of polish to choose from. I visited at 11:15am on a Tuesday and there were only 2 patrons in the salon at that time. Pop music was playing throughout and the volume was just right. Pedicure chairs have a massage feature and the salon uses plastic liners. Those were the observable positive aspects; here are the negatives. The pedicurist assigned to me cut me in several places. My heels, which were in rough shape (literally) received a cursory filing. Based upon the amount of time afforded me at the salons in NJ where I live, this was woefully inadequate. Lotion was slathered on my legs but no leg massage was provided. No base coat was applied before the polish was applied and the second coat of polish was dabbed on the center of each toe; I fully expect my polish to be chipped and worn in a matter of days, if not hours when I put on a closed toe shoe. Back in NJ, it is customary at most nail salons (not in beauty salons with a mani/pedi area) to receive a 1-2 min shoulder massage following a mani or pedi. Apparently, is not practiced at BNT. With so many alternatives to choose from in this area, I would not return to BNT on a future visit to Miami. read more

A lot of the reviews here are a bit outdated. This place has gotten a beautiful upgraded inside and they also are consistent. I have gotten several different technicians and each time I am very please with my mani/pedis and they are all super nice. They are also clean and sterile from what I've seen. Been coming here for 3 years. My advice in choosing nail polish at any salon - test the consistency of it. Just moved to this area and found my go to nail spa! My nail technician set the tone for excellent service. She took her TIME with my pedicure. While I'm used to rapid fire appts, she labored away making sure to leave me with happy feet, literally! Same with my manicure. Salon itself is very nice.
