Wedding dress shopping is a very vulnerable experience. It's your self esteem on full display and your experience is very dependent on the stylist. Unfortunately for me, I did not get the experience I was hoping for and did not feel like my stylist was able to interpret my vision. This was my 4th time trying on dresses. I previously went to Kleinfeld NYC, Anthropologie Palo Alto, and Kinsley Couture Walnut Creek. I had wonderful experiences at my previous appointments. I decided to come here because one of my friends had recommended them. My budget was $5k so I had a flexible price range. My stylist didn't really explain to me their process at this store so I was a bit confused. I knew it was a one hour time limit and the estimated dresses to try on was 5, but I didn't know it was a hard limit. She ended my appt early at 45 minutes. Had I known I could only try on 5 dresses exactly, it would have been nice if she was transparent about that so I could at least maybe select the dresses I gravitated toward out of her selection. I felt like I was giving feedback after each dress, but kept getting another variation of what I didn't like. The first dress I tried was probably the best out of 5, but from there we kept getting further and further away from what I wanted. There were some dresses I put on and wasn't comfortable to walk out on the podium, but she never asked me if I wanted to show my guests or not. She would just immediately open the curtains and I just felt very exposed and not handled with care. It just didn't feel like a hospitable environment for me or my 3 guests. We were never even offered water. I'm hoping my experience was an outlier and I wish all the brides coming here success in their bridal journey. read more

I am in LOVE with both my dress and the experience I had at Bo Lee!! I was recommended Bo Lee by a friend who knew of them when they were located in Sunnyvale; they're now located in Campbell. Parking is super easy; for my Sunday 3:00 PM appointment, the street parking spots were empty and the nearby parking garage had tons of space. Entrance is a little bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but they put a sign above their entrance, and directions are easy to follow to their front door (store is located on the second floor). My absolute love of this place includes: - the space is huge!! I had a dual fitting with my friend, but we weren't bumping into each other or in each other's pictures or anything at all. I saw that there was another person doing a fitting, but she was practically on the other side of the building, so we weren't encroaching in each other's space. - the dual fitting was a special request, and Jackie made sure to put us in rooms next to each other, which made the process that much more seamless - kitchen: one of my girls set up camp and poured us our teas, mimosas, and champagne in the Bo Lee kitchen. Also a beautiful space! - natural lighting: big and tall windows plus second floor venue equals viewing yourself in true colors instead of only bulb-lighting. The dresses I tried on were beautiful, but in the natural light, I could see how dynamic they were as well! Subtle sparkles, sheer tulle... it all came out differently in the natural light. - stylist chooses the dresses based on conversations and preference. Jackie, my stylist, knew the entire inventory. I just described what I thought I wanted, and she delivered!! I was relieved that I didn't have to go through dress after dress on the floor and hum and haw about whether I wanted to try it on or not. (Some people might not like this, but I feel like I had a curated try-on collection from an expert who saw the bigger picture.) - I also love how Jackie had me try on a dress I didn't think was the style I wanted, and she dotted her Is and crossed her Ts so I could for sure say with confidence that that particular dress style was a "no" from me. - both Jackie and Bo Lee took my measurements to make sure there wasn't an error, and it's the little things like that that make you feel confident in choosing them as your bridal boutique. She explained the different materials and silhouettes and pulled so many different dresses for me to try on. She helped me narrow down what I like. After many recommendations from friends and coworkers, I knew I had to check out BoLee for my wedding dress. BoLee was my second boutique I visited and I was hoping to have a better experience than my first time! I was helped by Jackie initially, and she got to WORK. All the stylists here know what they're doing, and know exactly which styles to pull off the rack based on your style preference. Jackie was knowledgeable and honest- all while being able to work with my budget! Do not sleep on their in house collection, everyone! I was mainly looking at the popular bridal designers they had in store, but ended up falling in love with the Bolee Dorado V2 in Ivory. The BoLee collection has such gorgeous and beautiful gowns- I would've gotten a second dress for my reception from their line if money were no issue. As other reviews mentioned, the environment wasn't as "magical" as everyone makes wedding dress shopping out to be. Everyone seemed straight to the point, which I didn't mind. A good piece of advice I've received from friends and coworkers were to not cheap out on alterations. We're already spending a good amount on our gown-you might as well ensure that the gown looks as perfectly as it should! (The last thing you want is your dress not fitting well!!!) I took this piece of advice and went with BoLee's in house tailor for my alterations needs, and although it did add up and it seemed like it was on the pricier side, I am so grateful I did. The gown fit perfectly and I knew I didn't have to sweat or stress over other details I didn't think I'd have to worry about (like the bustle lmao). I also added custom tulle off the shoulder straps which tied the look together. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day in my gown and felt like a princess. I had my first dress appointment here and absolutely loved it! Irina was super sweet, great at clamping the dresses, and found amazing styles throughout the appointment based on preferences and feedback after each dress. I didn't feel pressured at all at any point, and felt really comfortable. I think I tried on around 10 dresses total! I had an amazing experience at Bo Lee, especially with my consultant Jackie! I did everything through Bo Lee - got my dress, alterations, and veil from them. Jackie was incredibly helpful with picking out a dress. I was a picky bride and tried on about 50 wedding dresses across 3-4 different salons but I kept coming back to Bo Lee to try on one specific dress. I was hesitant to purchase it because the style was discontinued which meant I would be purchasing the sample dress off the rack. I decided to bite the bullet because I loved the dress so much and I'm so glad that I did! I think I ultimately got the dress for 50% off and it was still in a good condition. I also bought a brand new cathedral length veil. Jackie then helped me schedule all of my alterations appointments. I did a lot of alterations - I added straps, added a lining since the dress was sheer on top, hemmed it, added a bustle, changed the breast cups, added more coverage for my breasts, etc. The seamstress (apologies, I can't seem to remember her name) was super fantastic - she made the dress look brand new and made it fit like a glove while remaining comfortable! Amazing customer service! I highly recommend arriving early to check in and make the most of your appointment. Parking was super easy since I had an early morning slot. The $25 fee for a one-hour visit was absolutely worth it for the personalized experience. At the start, I shared my wedding dress shopping journey so far, mentioned my budget, and let them know I was hoping to find a dress cost $2,000 or under, which is mostly sample dress. While they did have some beautiful options, there weren't many sample sale dresses available in my size (I'm a size 2), as most tend to run larger and you can only take whatever is remaining. The selection overall was stunning, and I got to try on a variety of styles. My wedding dress fitter was incredibly attentive--she listened carefully to my preferences and made sure each dress was styled properly for photos. At the end, she offered to use the remaining time to either try another dress or explore veils. I chose to try on veils, which was super helpful to see the difference between a long and short one. One thing to note: the timeline is long. My fitter explained it can take about 10 months total--5 to 7 months for the dress to arrive from overseas, plus another 3 to 4 months for alterations. My favorite dress was $3,400 before the 15% discount, and alterations would be an additional $500-$1,000. That brings the total close to $4,000, which is unfortunately beyond my budget, even though the dress was absolutely gorgeous. Overall, I really appreciated the experience. BoLee has such gorgeous dresses. It was very easy to make a reservation. I brought 4 of my closest ladies to come with me for my first dress try-on experience and BoLee is definitely a place to go! I went about two months ago, they did not require masks, but it was recommended. No food was allowed, but drinks are. When I got in, there wasn't anyone else trying on dresses, I believe someone had just finished their appointment right before me. They had three areas for appointments, I was placed at the front of the store. There were two couches for guests to sit on right by the mirror and there is a platform for you to stand on top of. I already had a style of the dress in my mind that I thought would fit best, I showed the consultant some examples and explained to her what my top three things I am looking for in my dress. She was able to pull some options for me and I was able to browse the racks to add any that I wanted to try on. The consultant helps you clip on the dresses to make them fit better and she will also help add on veils, belt blingsss, and detachable sleeves if you want to see what that looks like with the dresses. Throughout trying on different dresses, when I would let her know what I liked and didn't like, she did bring out 2-3 other dresses she thought would be "the one". I did not leave with purchasing a dress as they were definitely way out of my budget, the dresses I loved were 3-4K. But definitely enjoyed my experience !! read more

Very lovely experience here finding my wedding dress! It was easy to book an appointment online and I received multiple reminders leading up to the day of. The studio has lots of natural light and a large selection of gowns. I did not peruse the racks myself, rather told the stylist what I was looking for in terms of shapes, price, details. This was my 4th shop so at that point I knew what I was looking for which was helpful, I wouldn't have been as successful here had it been my first stop when I had no idea. I tried on 4 or 5 dresses in my first appointment and had a long discussion about alterations, straps, modifications to make it perfect for me. In the moment I wasn't sure so I walked away but made a follow up appointment a couple weeks later to revisit the dress that I ultimately said yes to! I came here twice to try on dresses but I think I knew from the first time that I was going to buy a dress from here! The store is pretty easy to miss, it's in a strip mall and it's kind of in a corner but there is plenty of parking in front of it. I tried on a number of dresses during both fittings but the Meztli dress caught my eye both times and I ended up going with that one! I received so many compliments on the dress and the gorgeous veil. Everyone loved the subtle sparkle of the dress and the fit of it! I ended up getting this dress preserved so maybe I can use it again in the future for vow renewals or maybe to pass it to someone else. The store associates were super friendly during all the fittings and the lady who did the alterations was super sweet as well. While there aren't too many options in the store, I feel like that kind of helps as the choices don't become overwhelming. After telling her the type of wedding/vibes I was going for, she pulled some great options for me! Once you find a dress you like, they write down the info for you on the back of their business card and they take your measurements. Once with your consultant and another time with the owner for accuracy! Loved that attention to detail in their service. Pricing - The dresses are from $2,000 and up but let me tell you, you do not need to splurge on a dress to find a good one here. Selection - I was so excited because this place carries Maggie Sottero and other designers BUT honestly the in house designs by BoLee were some of my top favorites. They really carry a quality amount of dresses here! I think my experience mirrors a few other Yelpers who expressed the same thing. The consultants need to be a bit more experienced. I showed her a few styles from their website and expressed what I liked and didn't like. They weren't really able to pull anything beyond the dresses I had saved. One dress she pulled was everything I didn't want which was surprising why she pulled it. This in turn tells me that a dress with the details I liked doesn't exist in their store or the consultant is not knowledgeable in their inventory in order to narrow down what I'm looking for. She also didn't seem to know much about silhouettes when I'm inquired about the names to try and get a better idea of what was flattering on me. Furthermore, the timing was off. When I tried on dresses the consultant would be hunting down a dress I had saved from their website. I accidentally cut off the name so she spent a lot of time looking for it and my bridesmaids had to help get me into the dresses. Even clipping the dress didn't seem to be that great and there were lots of loose gaps at the front of my dress and I had a hard time envisioning myself in it. Overall I feel like a lot of time and opportunities to try on more dresses was lost. She didn't pull anything that spoke to me. I'll have to see what my other experiences are at other shops are. I came in by myself, in an emotional state as we were rushing our wedding due to a terminal illness in the family, so I needed to find an off the rack dress and didn't know at all what I wanted. This was the first bridal shop I visited and after visiting 4 shops now, I honestly had the best experience here. Danielle pulled some different shapes and styles for me to try so I could narrow down what I liked and she helped me take great photos to share with my mom who couldn't be there with me. The consultant I had was inexperienced and kept bringing me dresses that I did not like. I requested no lace, ivory, no train, no beading, and overall a very clean, modern look. The selection here is very limited. The dresses that were brought to me were extremely low cut, were very lacey, not ivory, and basically everything that I did not want in a wedding dress. If you are interested in lace, embellishments, or beading then BoLee would be a great choice. They even have have a great selection if you're into a more bohemian style (based from what I saw the other customers were trying on). However, if you're looking for something more simple & modern, then you should look elsewhere. Also, it seems like if you are able to get Bo to help you, then you may have better luck on finding a dress that suits you. Unfortunately, my experience here was underwhelming and awkward. read more

I had an overall great experience at my styling appointment with BoLee Bridal Couture. I had an appointment for 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and brought my future SIL and MIL. The showroom was spacious and could accommodate 3 appointments at a time. There were 2 other brides at the time of my appointment, so the place was energetic and lively. Customer service was excellent. My stylist, Jackie, was super friendly and helpful. She offered great pairings of veils to dresses and pulled dresses I ended up liking that weren't on my list. We accidentally went over time, but she didn't make us feel like we overstayed our welcome. Jackie was mindful of my budget and can work in worth-while discounts if I say "Yes" to the dress from there. I found that BoLee Bridal had a very good selection of high quality dresses. I tried several dresses (I think I was able to try on 10), and I appreciated the majority that I tried. Although I do find myself more of a boho-bride, I enjoyed trying on their elegant, hollywood glam type of gowns, which I found was more of BoLee's Bridal vibe. This was my second time trying on dresses and tried out BoLee since I've seen their high reviews. I also took advantage that I had Memorial Day off and asked if they would be open that day and they were! My bridal party and I were quickly greeted by Jackie who was so sweet and asked me variety of questions to get started. She listened to what I wanted and gave a great array of choices. Price point was great but besides that the dress was gorgeous and fit pretty well surprisingly. After poor experiences with other bridal salons, I was so relieved to "say yes to the dress" here! I made an appointment & Pri was my consultant. She was very friendly, patient, and asked me what styles I had in mind. I think she had just started her employment there... Bo ended up popping in periodically to assist :) Bo selected various styles that I would've never paid much attention to, and I'm glad she did. She had a keen eye for what flattered my body and helped me accessorize perfectly. She was attentive, sweet, and floated around the bridal salon to each customer & their consultant. I really cannot express how happy I was with the overall service that was provided. I did utilize in house alterations. I was initially hesitant, but I bit the bullet and was thoroughly happy with the end result. I had 2 fittings and a final fitting - the dress fit like a glove. I was amazed at how well everything was executed. I felt that the amount of work done justified the cost of alterations. Although COVID-19 impacted my wedding date and I went through many postponements, everyone I spoke to was understanding of the situation and I didn't feel a massive amount of pressure to pick up my dress. Due to covid, they are doing appointments by schedule only. They do not charge for appointments. Upon arrival, you will be paired with a consultant who will ask you about your general interests, likes/dislikes of certain styles. Then, she will pull dresses off the racks for you to try. I was very impressed that the dresses they pulled were very close to what I was looking for. The only downside is that they do not allow you to browse their dresses. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I was paired with Pri who did an amazing job with narrowing down what I was looking for / pin pointing exactly what I liked / disliked about certain styles. Once I have arrived at the boutique , I noticed the cleanliness & how organize they were. I was greeted right away!! Danielle was my girl!!! She was amazing ! She listened to what Exactly I looking for , the price I wanted to stay at & the looks I didn't want. She gave me options & made me feel very comfortable! [ During Covid Review ] This was my first place to find a wedding dress and even though I found a dress from a different store, I have to say that my experience here was amazing. When I arrived with my guest, I was greeted and was asked to fill a form out. This form was to help the person helping me understand what I liked/didn't like, my budget, and if I have been to any other bridal shops. What I really enjoyed about this was that the person who helped me figured out that I don't really do dresses (I'm more tom boy-ish) and gradually eased me into dresses without pushing me. I loved how she came with lots of A-line dresses with various types of lace styles and in the end we figured out that I like the fit-and-flare style. Her patience with me was much appreciated. This place is super small and intimate, they offer a decent amount of wedding dress selections! I gotta say it doesn't give me the wow factor in terms of energy or bridal. The stylists are straight forward and efficient but the vibe is super welcoming. Everything is very serious in the atmosphere and there's no excitement in the air. I was hoping that they would be able to listen to my wants and style inspo and translate that into showing me dresses in then inventory that were not on the website. Unfortunately, they only pulled the ones I favorited and didn't recommend or show any other dresses. And you cannot freely browse dresses here. BoLee Bridal was a wonderful place! Danielle, my bridal consultant was SO amazing! It was my first place I went to and had no guidance to give her and she still delivered wonderfully! I could not say better things about her. She was the sweetest and so knowledgeable. The facility was very clean and organized. My biggest regret was not coming here first. I had been to 3 other bridal shops before going to Bolee, and honestly I was getting really nervous that I wasn't going to find my dress in time for the wedding. Right off the bat I could tell the quality in these dresses were 10X better than any of the other places id been to (very chic couture). Karina was my consultant and she basically nailed it with the first couple dresses she pulled. I think I was only there for maybe 30-40 minutes until I found my dress. She stayed within my budget, was super friendly and not pushy at all. The best part is, the turn around time for my dress is only going to be 4-6 months. Other places were quoting me 8-10! Its worth mentioning that this is great for larger groups, plenty of seating for everyone. They had my name written on chalk board to greet me and the fitting rooms are so pretty and spacious. I made a last minute appointment to try on bridal dresses for the Labor Day sale. My consultant was Irina. She was beyond sweet, accommodating and patient with me as we tried on several dresses. I fell in love with 3 dresses that needed quite a bit of altering. I haven't made my decision yet, but will definitely request Irina if I say yes to the dress here. read more
