I booked an appointment for only $25, which is a great price, and got to try on about 6 dresses for an hour. The studio is small and they recommend just 4 people. I honestly had a really good time and found the dresses to be very beautiful. I ended buying a dress I had an eye on elsewhere but dresses here were favorites and very close to be chosen as well. She has detachable sleeves for if you prefer an off-the-shoulder look. The owner is very accommodating. She also has veils and accessories so if you want a whole package at an affordable price, I would recommend. If you are a short girl like me, try to find dresses that are short so you don't waste time on the longer dresses (unless you plan to buy and alter). The dresses pictured are around $550-680 for rental if I remember correctly. Lastly, Email communications were prompt and clear. read more

Our friends recommended Pearl White Wedding to us when we were looking for our wedding qipaos/cheongsams. We ended up with our final outfit and additionally got a qipao for my mother-in-law. The outfits were nice and clean. My husband decided to get his tuxedo here and it was tailored well enough he only needed one fitting appointment. Eva included a tea set and cushions for us. All of the rentals were ready for pick up a few days prior to our wedding and we returned it a few days after. Eva was easy to talk to and made our process simple. Though the selection is more limited, it made it much more of a relaxing experience. They cycle styles once every year. They have recently relocated to Coleman from Fremont. It is a bit harder to get to their lot depending on traffic. read more

I rented a wedding dress here in 2021. When it comes to making important choices such as a wedding dress, I tend to take a long time to think about the pros and cons. Sometimes I go back and forth between choices. Each time I tried on a dress, Eva helped me take photos from different angles. I appreciate how she was patient while I think and move around in the dress. After trying on five dresses in the first appointment, I couldn't decide. During my second appointment, there was another dress that was available which wasn't available during my first appointment. That dress fitted well on me without any alterations. I am petite, around 5 feet 1.5 inches tall, and around 105 pounds. I like how the sweetheart neckline, mermaid style, wedding dress that I rented could be worn in two different ways because the off-the-shoulder straps could be left on or taken off easily. It is convenient that there is a free parking lot in the small plaza where this place is located. Normally there are two available parking spots in front of the store. The cost of the wedding dress rental include alteration (if needed), regular veil, and cleaning. There are upgrade veils with additional cost. Payment was convenient because she accepted Venmo. read more

Eva was great from the start. We kept in contact for a few weeks until I was ready to come in for my first fitting. She had plenty of options, but I immediately fell in love with one of the dresses she pulled for me. Once our event date got closer, the pick up and drop off process was very easy. She even worked around their normal drop off policy because I live in Vacaville, almost one hour away, All in all, Eva is amazing, professional, and their inventory is impressive. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to purchase ot rent a dress. Everyone including my photographer loved the dress ! read more

Found the dress of my dreams at Pearl White Wedding! Although I was initially searching for my tea ceremony dress, I figured why not also try the white wedding gowns they had in store. I've been having difficulties finding a simple, chic, and modern dress and although limited, the selection at PWW had more of the styles I was going for. The first dress I pulled and tried, I had a feeling this was IT! And yes IT was! As a resident of SoCal who was having her wedding in the Sacramento area, Eva, owner of PWW, could've not made my experience all the more streamlined and amazing! I had Eva's personal number and she was communicative with any concerns or questions. I also appreciated her flexibility with letting my dad and brother pick up the dress earlier than discussed! I was very strict with my wedding dress budget and I didn't think it was worth it for me to purchase a wedding dress to only wear it once in my life. So I decided to look into wedding dress rentals. After checking out 5 bridal shops that had for purchase and rentals, I finally stumbled upon Pearl White Wedding. Eva assisted me with my bridal appointment. I told her that I wanted an A-line dress, but I wasn't sure what would look nice on me. Eva was able to pull out a few dresses that she thought would look nice on me. I didn't think that I would end up finding a dress rental that I would like until I tried on a really lovely A-line dress that comes with detachable off-shoulder straps. I really loved that my dress rental has a corset backing, so I didn't have to worry too much about my weight fluctuating. My rental included a complimentary laced veil and petticoat. The best part was that the rental price was within my wedding dress budget! I was thrilled to have been able to find my wedding dress 7 months prior to my wedding day! My appointment and communication with Eva was very easy and professional. Eva was very prompt with responding to my emails and text messages as well. The entire process from the appointment, to the dress pick-up, and to the dress drop-off was very smooth. One of the things I am not excited about as a bride is spending a lot of money on a dress that I will only wear once. Therefore, I was very opened to the idea of possibly renting my wedding dress. I was excited when I found out about Pearl White Wedding, and quickly made an appointment. Eva was the sweetest and warmest consultant I encountered thus far during my wedding planning journey. I felt so comfortable around her and really appreciated her honesty. Although I did not find the dress, Pearl White Wedding offers a fair amount of dresses and accessories that are reasonably priced to rent, and also to buy! Most of the styles are on the classic and elegant side, which may not be for everyone, but it's still definitely worth checking out if you're a bride on a budget like myself. One con, which is nobody's fault but my own is that most dress sizes are geared towards 4-8. Therefore, a lot of the dresses did not fit me. Eva said she is able to do slight alterations on rentals to ensure it fits perfectly to one's body, which is amazing! Unfortunately, for me it would have been very difficult without damaging the structure of the dress. Overall, Pearl White Wedding is a cute small boutique shop worthy of checking out. They also offer bridesmaids dresses and Chinese dresses for rental, as well! read more

I was excited to find a shop that had tea ceremony dresses as I'm looking to find one for my wedding. I was disappointed in the selection that was offered because it was so limited. I knew since most of them were rental and not custom made that I might need to get alterations. However, what did not sit right for me was feeling fat shamed during my appointment. After trying on a few dresses, I was feeling pretty defeated that most of them were a bit too tight. The woman fitting me told me "It's ok you'll just lose weight before your wedding." I walked out feeling really discouraged and fat shamed since I've only heard of these experiences happening to other brides and it happened to me. This was also my first experience trying on any dresses for my wedding. Overall, booking an appointment and finding the location wasn't difficult and the shop was clean and dresses I was trying on seemed good quality. I was just very disappointed in the interactions I had during my appointment. read more

Completely rude. Do not come. They never called back at my first attempt to schedule. Then upon arriving, no one came to help. Previous appointment was still being helped 20 minutes into my appointment. I was told to look around first, and then no one talked to me for 20 more minutes. This was completely unprofessional. Am I supposed to cut into the next appt as well for 20 minutes? Why have us schedule. Look at the FAQs to see the hypocrisy. Definitely no attention given though I was patient and let 20 minutes go by into my hour appointment before leaving. read more

My mom saw their advertisement in the local paper and said it looked nice so I tried to schedule an appointment through their website (http://www.pearl-whitewedding.com/appointment.html). I waited a week and didn't hear from them so I called the store. I said I was only going to be in town for the holiday weekend and she said why don't I come in for their first appointment on Saturday. I gave her my name and contact information, and relayed the confirmed with my mom, mother-in-law-to-be and maid of honor the date and time. When we showed up the following Saturday the store was closed with no sign on the door. My MOH called the number on the door and someone finally answered saying they didn't know there was an appointment that day so they're out of town. We were left stranded in Fremont and luckily Yelp'd another local store that was nice enough to let us come on a short notice. (Shout out to Wedding & Dreams 2 exits down 880!) Not sure what kind of business Pearl-White is going to get in the future but it won't be mine. I'm bummed because the qi-pao pictures on their Yelp site looks nice. Should've known, no Yelp reviews, no good. read more

I came here with my sister to look for wedding gowns to rent. They have a good selection of dresses, including traditional Chinese dresses. If you're looking for bridesmaid dresses, they sell one style, in multiple colors, at a fair price. Dress fittings are by appointment only and it was fairly easy to communicate/text the owner to schedule. read more

They double booked and never acknowledged it or apologized. I made a 4pm appointment over the phone and confirmed with the owner twice before hanging up. I immediately wrote down the date and time, and texted it to my friends so that they can come help me pick out a dress. When I arrived at the store, the doors were locked and no one was inside. I noticed another customer waiting outside and I thought it was odd. The owner showed up around 4:10 and then plainly said I was mistaken and that my appointment was at 3pm (even though the store was closed earlier?). Owner didn't want to talk to me or help me at all and sent me to the bathroom to try on dresses (gross!). It was the weirdest and most awkward dress appointment ever. My friends and I tried to make the best of a shitty situation, but I couldn't find anything worth renting. By the time I left, I noticed that there was another customer waiting outside for her appointment, and that the owner was once again late to start the next appointment (she was still talking to the gal inside that had an appointment booked at the same time as me). read more

Went to try on for renting. Eva is very nice, helpful and professional. She finds the dress that is suitable for u and fits your requirements. The rental price is around $350-380 depends on the design. Rental ones usually can't alternate size but if it's A-line, it's corset back so usually can fit nicely. See the pics. If you want to buy, most of them are around $800-900 ish, which is cheaper than many places. If u rent, she will include the veils or the scarf. You can also rent the accessories from her. read more

And weddings are already expensive enough as it is and Pearl White Wedding makes the attire affordable and stress-free. I was not going to wear wedding dress for my civil ceremony, but I changed my mind 3 days before the ceremony. Since I'm in a very tiny size, so I was afraid that I can't find a nice wedding dress in just 3 days. I found Eva's store on yelp and I called in made the earliest appointment. When I walked in her store, I was so excited: so many beautiful dresses! Eva helped me pick 6 dresses to try and I love them all! Most of her dresses are adjustable, so the size is not a problem. She took photos for me as well so that I can compare and choose afterwards. Eva is very patient and friendly. I went to her store twice in the same day, the second time I didn't make appointment, I just want to make sure that my final decision is right so I just rush in her store before she close, she's still very patient and helped me try the dress again. It's very flexible for pick up and return the dress too. I picked up my dress one day in advance and returned it four days later after I got back from our mini honey moon. Found Eva through a friend of mine who also rented her engagement/wedding dress. I knew from the beginning that I would rent my wedding dress as I would never want to purchase one. I met with Eva and she is was very sweet and accommodating. I found my dress the first time I went in, but wanted to make sure so I delayed renting. After trying out a few more places, I came back again and rented not only my wedding dress, but a red tea ceremony dress as well. Her prices were reasonable and I was looking at about 330 for the both of them. Closer to the date, I also rented another dress for engagement photos! All 3 dresses cost me about $600, and I was extremely happy with all of them. Pick up few days before, return few days after, no dry cleaning needed. Very easy, no complications. Shop is small but clean and cozy. *Always call before going in just to make sure she's in for those that are coming from out of the area. *She does flowers, rental hair pieces, alterations for the trains, just ask! Eva is very patient, helpful, and friendly. Her Customer service is excellent. I found a wedding dress to rent for my engagement photos from Peal White in Oct 2014. The wedding dress was very gorgeous and beautiful. I received so many compliments. The rentals price was very reasonable which cost about $250 for 3 days. My husband also rented his tuxedo for our engagement photos. However, the tuxedo did not fit my husband and it was too big. I also hired Eva for our wedding reception in Feb 2015. Eva did a main backdrop, photo backdrop, reception table, wedding cake table and 120 chair covers. Our wedding was decorated beautifully. Thanks for making our reception looked so beautiful. The owner Eva was so amazing to work with; even amongst all the stress of planning a wedding during COVID she made things so much easier. I initially found her when searching for a wedding dress. The dresses she has are stunning and very affordable. Eva also told me she does florals and provided an itemized quote with example pictures of each decoration based on the Pinterest board I sent. She even noted which flowers would be best based on the season and the budget I was working with, as well as additional suggestions after inspecting my wedding venue. Out of the three rental places I visited, the dresses available at this place seem older and limited and the studio is rather cramped. However, it has some classic styles which work for my body type. They have a good collection of wedding dresses for rent. We even found interesting 'QiPao' (Asian style) there. Eva is experienced to figure out which one would be a good fit quickly given our preference. Yet, she is patient enough to let us try different styles to figure out the one that we love and actually looks great on us. With Eva's help, we found the best fit and we receive a lot of compliments during our Wedding day. The whole rental process is easy and smooth. I recently recommended this place to a newly engaged friend and realized that I never wrote my review. So here it is! I rented my wedding dress from Pearl White Wedding for my wedding in October 2017. The whole transaction was very smooth. I went a couple times with friends to try on some different dresses. Eva, the owner, was very accommodating. I'm the kind of person who likes to browse on my own and not be bombarded with suggestions from the salespeople. Eva gave me my space while my friend and I browsed through different dresses and was very helpful and quick with helping me get the dresses on. I found the dress during my first visit, but needed some more confirmation from others so didn't actually make the final decision until later. The prices are very reasonable. I also rented a sash and a veil to go with my dress. The other cool thing about Pearl White Wedding is that they sell bridesmaids dresses for a good price! Only one style, but in different colors. I brought my bridesmaids once to try on the dress and see if they liked it and they were all fans, especially when they heard the price. I knocked off a star because communication is sometimes a little rocky. She once double booked my appointment with someone else's and didn't realize it and thought I was a walk-in during one of the times I showed up for an appointment. But overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely recommend Pearl White if you are looking to rent a gown! read more

Found this place on yelp! If you're considering on renting your wedding dress instead of purchasing one, make one of your shopping stops to look at Eva's collection. There were many beautiful gowns. Eva is the owner and was very helpful with trying on dresses and giving you suggestions on what might look best. No pressure to rent or buy from her. Prices are very affordable and recently I purchased a bridesmaid dress that came out to only $75! The material was good quality and it had versatility, where you could go strapless or single sided shoulder look. My friend that was getting married approved of the style. I could wear this dress for other occasions. There are also chinese qipaos. read more

Really great place to rent a wedding dress! Eva has a large selection of gowns you can choose from, including the Chinese qipaos for tea ceremonies, etc. She does some minor adjustments for you so it fits better on the wedding day and can do a custom bustle for the rentals as well. She also does floral and decorations-- you simply have to show her some Pintrest photos and give her your budget and she can get it done! I chose to get my dress from Eva because she made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole process. She is really kind and very approachable. It was easy to talk to her and convey whatever my needs were. I'm 5'2 and Pearl was the only dress shop I found that had dresses for my height. I also rented a veil, and had a bustle added, and the entire price came out to just over 400 dollars, WAY below budget. I can only review a small service that this business offered me, although, it seems they would do well all around. Recently found Pearl White Weddings through a referral for Tuxedo measurements. They were listed as a preferred vendor so I called to make an appointment. Recording measurements for a tuxedo not to be rented or worked on there is not their typical service but the woman was more than happy to oblige. I was very grateful for their willingness to work with my son and their patience, as I brought both of my toddlers in with me. The room is clean and decorated in a modern motif. The dresses and other offerings were nicely displayed, reflecting the professionalism they seemed to have. Thanks again for your help! read more

I traveled 1.5hrs to the Bay to find a wedding dress. I initially wanted to rent the dress that I fell in love with here, but decided to buy it instead because the rental one was too long on me and price was reasonable. When my dress finally came in, it didn't have the bustle on it like I had requested/paid for because Eva, the owner, "had forgot." To top it off, the dress was STILL LONG on me. Eva told me to just wear a petticoat because it would be too difficult to alter (alright, fine). She said she would let me borrow one of hers - pick up would be the Thursday before my wedding. When I had called her to let her know I was on my way (remember, a 1.5hr drive), she said she was out of town and didn't remember... horrible service. read more

During the appointment, she let me try on everything that I wanted to and was fast in getting me in and out of dresses. The shop is very cute and clean. All the western style dresses are a corset style so I didn't have to worry about maintaining a weight to fit in the dress on the big day. All the dresses are kept very clean as well. Eva is great! I made several appointments with her before my wedding because I wanted to keep trying on the dresses to make sure I wouldn't change my mind and to make sure the sizes still fit. Eva was always super patient during each of my visits. She has a great selection to choose from (a lot of classic looks with sweetheart, mermaid, a-lines, etc). She even has bridesmaids dresses & Chinese dresses for rent (although I didn't utilize those). Her services include cleaning, veil, & petticoat, and she can even make slight alterations where possible to ensure the dress fits you perfectly. The only down side is there are limited sizes (ie, not every dress is available in every size), but there is a range I think from size 4-12 in different dresses, and she can custom make a dress if desired. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to rent a dress! read more

Eva was great at helping pick the perfect dress for my engagement photo. She was patient and thorough and also helped my fiancé pick his tuxedo. I would however recommend calling in advance just in case. There are some weekdays that she doesn't open. read more

I got both my ceremony and reception dress here and I did not regret it! I got so many compliments and I dont think I could find anything better. Plus, the price is cheap too!!! I was able to see bags and charms from Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Longchamp, and many more designers. I had admired some of the bags online and enjoyed seeing what they looked like in real life. The biggest surprise was Coach. I burned out on Coach purses over 10 years ago, but found some of their bags to be quite beautiful and well-made. I also saw some Tory Burch bags I really liked, and I'm not usually a fan. One sales associate offered to assist me and then kindly left me alone and let me browse. The employee pretended to be surprised there was a line when he was the one who kicked us out in the first place. The result was inconsistent queue management that disproportionately affected multiple Asian customers who were waiting in line. Regardless of intent, the handling of the situation created a perception of unfair treatment and favoritism to Caucasian customers and was not addressed when brought to staff attention. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that management can review staff training and ensure consistent handling of checkout lines so customers are not redirected out of order or left waiting unfairly after following instructions.

Given the importance of the moment and the price point, I had high expectations. The initial experience was strong. The consultation, fitting, and in store service felt thoughtful and professional, exactly what you would expect when investing north of a thousand dollars for a tailored tuxedo. Unfortunately, the jacket fit missed the mark. When I raised the concern, the initial response from the tailor left me with the impression that this was simply something I would have to live with. That did not sit right with me given the investment. I asked to speak with the manager, and credit where it is due, he handled the situation extremely well. He took the issue seriously, showed genuine interest in getting it right, and ensured the jacket was adjusted as best as possible so I could confidently wear it for the wedding. After the wedding, they brought me back in to fully redo the tuxedo and included a custom shirt as part of making things right. Unfortunately, the redo was worse than the first fit. I am still not sure how or why that happened. At that point, we started over again, this time with two people taking my measurements and another custom shirt added to the order. Throughout this entire process, the overall professionalism in the store was solid, with the exception of one representative who occasionally missed the mark but did catch himself and apologized. Everyone else genuinely tried to deliver a good experience. Where things consistently broke down was after the order was placed. Something seems to get lost in translation between the store and the suit makers, and that disconnect ultimately undermined the experience. Bottom line. The in store service and intent were good. The execution and consistency of the final product were not. As a result, I will not be a customer moving forward. I truly hope my experience remains the exception. My son, nephew, and son in law are all active SuitSupply customers with multiple custom suits and shirts and have had positive experiences. For me, however, I am now looking for a different long term partner as I continue upgrading my suit closet.
