If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. after some bad and disappointing experiences at other shops, we stumbled upon this boutique after walking around town following an appointment at Lovely bride. We didn't have an appointment but the girl workng there, Kayla, could not have been more welcoming and allowed us to have a full appointment right on the spot! The dresses were so beautiful and there was such a large variety of styles, my sister (the bride) was finally able to explore different styles and with the stylists help, figure out what was best for her!! She found a dress she absolutely loved, but my mom was not with us so we were not ready to buy and we felt zero pressure. She recommended coming back after sleeping on it and gave us all the info on the dress so we could do research online. My sister left feeling reassured and her spirits were lifted and it was the perfect end to the day! We can't recommend this store enough and cannot wait to come back!!! read more

tldr: DON'T SHOP AT BRIDE & BUSTLE! Their communication is unreliable, their service is unprofessional, & their business is consistently disappointing. Our experience at Bride & Bustle in Los Gatos (owned & operated by Micaela Suhr) was by far the worst shopping experience in our entire lives. Screenshots of emails are included. I was helping my sister make appts for wedding dress shopping. I called Bride & Bustle on 4/1 & spoke with Micaela. Bride & Bustle didn't carry the specific dresses my sister wanted to try on. Micaela said she could order the dresses from the designer with 1-2 weeks' notice & a $75 shipping fee for each dress. I called again on 4/2 & asked her to order the try-on dresses for my sister & book an 1.5 hour appt ($75) on Fri 5/15. She said she would reach out to the designer & get back to me by the end of the next week (4/10). When I hadn't heard from Micaela I emailed her on 4/15. No response. I called & left messages on 4/22, 4/24, & 4/26 & emailed again on 4/28 & still no response. Finally on 4/29 I spoke with Micaela. She confirmed she could order the try-on dresses. She also assured me she had my sister booked for an appt on Fri 5/15 & sent the appt confirmation email for our appt on Fri 5/15. On 5/1 she sent another email confirming the appt on 5/15 However, when we arrived at Bride & Bustle on the day the store was locked, the lights were off, & the sign said "closed." I called & left multiple voicemails & sent an email. Later I got an email claiming "the computer put [our appt] down for next Friday." I'm unsure how "the computer" had our appt down for the following Fri when I received two confirmation emails & verbal confirmation from Micaela for Fri 5/15. Either Micaela is careless, lying, or both. My bet is both. She also mentioned she "was out of the store today on top of it because [her] sister in law just had a baby, so it was just a collision of bad timing for the error." I am very understanding of family emergencies. I find it hard to believe Micaela didn't think to reach out to her Bride & Bustle team or clients. It would have taken less than a minute to send an email or give us a call. Anyways, the frustration doesn't end here. After waiting until the evening of Tues 5/19 for the refund to go through, I emailed Micaela again to make sure she did initiate the refund for the two try-on dresses ($230 total). Based on her previous history of not returning calls & or emails, I wasn't taking any chances now that she owed me money. I emailed her again on 5/20 & 5/21. I also called several times. I would have left voicemails but the voicemail box was full. I even stopped by the store in person on 5/20 during their normal business hours but no one was there. After the past 2 months I can confidently say there is no easy way to get in touch with Micaela Suhr & the Bride & Bustle team. Email, phone, & in-person were all fruitless. Finally I received an email receipt for the refund timestamped for 5/23/2026 at 8:23 PM, plus an email from Micaela. In my opinion lying about sending a refund for a week was the cherry-on-top of this horrible situation. From start to finish, Michela Suhr was incompetent, unreliable, dishonest, & unprofessional. Whether it was the consistent typos sprinkled throughout her business emails to flat out lying about scheduling & refunds, she never ceased to amaze me with her lack of professionalism. I am still in shock that someone who sells something as important, emotional, & expensive as designer wedding dresses has the audacity to behave like this. Perhaps Micaela Suhr should go into a less demanding sales market, like paper towels. This way she could help clean up messes instead of making them. read more

Unreliable and unresponsive!!! I had my first appt with Micaela and all went well, she was present at the shop on time and was helpful pulling dresses. I then organized a second appointment about 1-2 months later for my family to join me as my maid of honor was coming from out of town. I received the normal confirmation email a couple days before confirming the correct time and date of our scheduled appointment. When the day came the shop was fully closed and Micaela was nowhere to be found, the mailbox to leave a voicemail was full, and she takes weeks to reply to emails (if at all). My family and I were left without being able to try on dresses and my entire family made travel arrangements for this agreed upon time. She made no effort in contacting me on the day of or replying to my email addressing the fact that she missed our appointment. Still have not heard back from her despite my outreach attempts. After looking at the other yelp reviews, I'm learning that we are all having THE EXACT SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Avoid this place at all costs and do not trust Micaela to respect your time or joy during the wonderful process of finding your dress. read more

Read Breana S review. I should have before making an appointment. Stained, distressed, dirty outdated dresses. We asked to see their 2025 dresses and they only had 3 in store. It was also NOT WORTH THE BRIAL FEE when then the sales associate did not do anything. They did not pull dresses we were leaning towards, would not go into dressing room, did not clip the dresses properly, fluff/style the dress and did not place veils. Great bridal shop! My daughter and I were bridal dress shopping and didn't even know about this store when we walked past it. We went in to see about scheduling an appointment and Micala was so gracious she let my daughter try on dresses right then and there. Believe the bad reviews about this place. I made an appointment for Sunday at 1:45pm, it was confirmed and my credit card was holding the appointment. Four minutes before my appointment, I received the following text message. I called the number that texted me 3 times and no answer. I agreed to come back later but as you can see I asked to be called by someone. I wanted to make sure someone was actually at the shop. In the meantime, I did some shopping in the area. At 3:20pm I still wasn't called and didn't want to show up at the place again to be stood up for a second time. At 5pm I was walking back to my car and happened to be walking past the shop. I saw someone in the shop and walked in to make sure my credit card had been reimbursed for the appointment charge. I was told the manager was actually the person who was supposed to run my appointment and was given some story. It seems like no matter what story you get from this place, they stand people up too often enough and I don't think they can be trusted. I won't be going back to actually have an appointment. I have been here years for my own wedding and I absolutely loved my consultant and the time we spent there. I definitely had felt all of the bridal feels for my own experience 4 years ago! Fast forward to yesterday for my best friends wedding dress shopping and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. She walked out not feeling like a bride and feeling very uneasy due to the owners mannerisms. I am not one to accuse someone of substance abuse, but unfortunately there was no denying that with what we experienced yesterday at Bride and Bustle. She was definitely high on something (other than weed) and or had been drinking prior to this. She could barely keep her eyes open while speaking to us and her boyfriend was in the back room smoking cigarettes. I had a run in with the boyfriend to tell him that their dog had an accident and I accidentally stepped in it. I didn't want to bother Micaela while she was helping my friend, so I thought I should tell him. He walked out looking worse than the owner did, slumped over, eyes closing, slurring words, and a cigarette in hand. Again, I am not one to accuse someone of having a substance abuse issue, but this was so completely unprofessional and disturbing. I truly hope the owner is able to get herself together so Bride and Bustle is able to stay in business. This was not the same shop or experience I was given years ago. read more

I rarely, if ever, write reviews. However, this warrants a WARNING. TL;dr: the dresses were absolutely vile, stained, disgusting, and the shop was not clean at all. The owner/salesperson was late, asked to cancel my appointment 5 minutes before start, and the salesperson reeked of alcohol (and definitely was wearing the same clothes she wore the day before prior to her Friday night bender). Unfortunately this was my first bridal appointment--ever. They had very little dress choices and I had to actively look for dresses that did not have stains from miscellaneous juices. The salesperson never once asked my budget, offered me water or did anything remotely normal. The vibes were horrific, no music--absolute silence--and only one person working. I am not sure how this place still operates, especially if this is how they deem their business "operational." It takes very little effort to provide clean salespeople and clean dresses. I've never ever experienced anything like this and I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever. I would literally rather go anywhere else than go here. Stay a million miles away--you might literally get staph infection if you don't. PSA to the owner--do better. I live away from my hometown and shopped solo and she took photos to share with my out of state family. The dress selection is lovely and she offered me options to get items off the rack since my wedding was less than 6 weeks away. I left feeling happy about the the Hayley Paige dress and matching Swarovski hair comb I found and owe that wonderful memory to her professionalism and kindness. First things first, they have a great inventory of dresses to choose from. Tons of different styles and price ranges. In my experience, it's disappointing to go through all the trouble to make a bridal appointment, gather loved ones to come with you, drive further than you want to, just to show up and realize the dresses are out of date or that there isn't a big selection to choose from. That absolutely will not happen to you here. As a SF resident, I went to many bridal boutiques/ designers during my purchase journey. The SF boutiques were a waste of time in comparison. I should have come straight here. The staff is very friendly. I felt extremely attended to. The ambiance in the store is comfortable & elegant. The decor really adds an element of excitement to your bridal journey. You MUST stop here if you are a Bay Area bride. read more

When I went, the girl who helped me Mikayla, was super helpful. She was there by herself for the day and was still very attentive. She made the process of picking out my wedding dress so easy. Bought my dress and belt for my dress here. The alterations for the dress were more extensive than expected even though I got a custom sized dress. Additionally, the belt started yellowing in areas. When I reached out to them, they let me know to email them pictures and they would reach back out. They never reached out again. Terrible customer service. Honestly I was so pleasantly surprised by this place that I had to write a raving review. I just got engaged and just for fun, I booked an apt here. I walk downtown LG all the time and always thought they would be so snooty and the dresses too expensive for me so why not just go for fun to prove me right. Oh man, was I in the wrong for pre judging this place. The workers were incredibly kind, patient, not pushy at all (shoutout to my girl Elizabeth!) and I just ended up having such a great time here. I then went to Trudy's to see what it was all about and I wanted to run out of there so quickly. They had a lot more options but I had to know exactly what I wanted so the salesperson could pick out what she thought for me. I told her I didn't know what style I wanted and got reprimanded for that then rushed to buy the dress I tried on last because 8 months was just not enough time. And the apt fee doesn't go towards the dress if you buy from them. Needless to say, I thanked them for their help, hustled my way back to the Bustle last minute and bought the dress I had fallen in love with (same price dresses btw as other places). So all to say, even if it's your first time and have no idea what you want or you know exactly what you want, just go try on dresses here and decide later. Super fun and beautiful shop. read more

Although I didn't purchase my wedding gown here, I could not have had a better time at Bride and Bustle on my first day of dress shopping. I had an idea of what I was looking for, but was open to trying on a range of silhouettes and styles as well. I specifically came to Bride and Bustle to try on their selection of Allison Webb dresses since I didn't find any other stores in the Bay Area that carry this designer. They also have a large selection of many other popular designers including Pronovias, Hayley Paige, and Watters. I'm a picky shopper, so I enjoyed being able to look through the store and pick out dresses that caught my eye. Elizabeth, my consultant, also picked a few dresses that she thought I might like and offered some great recommendations for alterations I could make to dresses that weren't quite perfect. Since the store didn't have one dress in particular that I was interested in trying, Elizabeth offered to check in with the designer to locate a sample and have it shipped to the store for me to try. I truly appreciated the wonderful service I received at Bride and Bustle and would definitely recommend it as a must stop in anyone's wedding dress search. read more

Elizabeth didn't make me feel bad about my budget. She even let me try on a dress that's almost double my budget (biggest no-no, right?) just to have fun and play dress up for a little bit (no worries I didn't fall in love with that dress, so no tears were shed lol). I found this place on Yelp, made an appointment, and ended up having the most wonderful time with my consultant, Elizabeth. She was friendly, sweet, encouraging, and a great listener. Made an appointment one month in advance and had people fly in and commute far for my very first experience trying on wedding dresses just for the store to be locked and no one was there. There were two other groups waiting for their appointments as well and none of us had been contacted about the store being closed. Tried calling and emailing while waiting outside for my appointment and didn't get any response. I was only contacted later that night, 10 hours after my appointment was supposed to happen and 9 hours after the owner said she found out about the situation. Super unprofessional and unreliable and I will not be rescheduling my appointment after this awful experience.
