Curbside pickup is still convenient & fast for Asian Heritage formerly Bo Lings. Placed the order (Shrimp rolls and Shrimp Fried rice) over the phone with specific request to include sweet and sour sauce but no duck or other sauce. We don't like to waste food. Actual pickup was a breeze, simply pull up to a number either on side or in front of the building, then call to let them know what number I was at.

Steamed soup dumplings, perfect as always.

Bo Lings is one of my go to places for Chinese food in Kansas City and the quality never lacks. Their cashew chicken is my favorite dish (maybe ever??) and it is consistently delicious which really matters to me with Chinese food. My partner is loyal to their steamed soup dumplings and swears they are to die for. Flavor wise, this place is phenomenal. Service was a little slow, but not in a way that ruined anything. Once the food landed hot and delicious, we were too happy to care. The only downside was the smell inside this location. There was a strong sewage stink the whole time and it definitely took away from the dining in experience. Because of that, I probably would not come back to this location, but Bo Lings food overall is amazing and absolutely worth trying. If you come here and are sensitive to smells.. maybe just get takeout because the food is worth it here!

Bo Lings is usually a safe bet for service and tasty food but New Years Day was unusual. We were seated quickly at 2:40 pm but it was then a 15 min wait for drink orders and yet another 10-15 min for the appetizer order. The steamed dumplings were over cooked, leading to a deconstructed dumpling :-) the taste just wasn't up to par with the MANY times we have been to Bo Lings. As well the cost has went up so much and the over 10% KC tax is way too much. Overall will try again but honestly stepping out to Platte City or another burb is just as good these days, unfortunately.

I had not been to Bo Lings in a long time but was pleasantly surprised that it was just as good as I remembered. They have done a complete remodel and it is beautiful. I visited for their dim sum menu and the outstanding dish was the soup dumplings, hard to find in KC.

    Renovated Inside!

It seems Bo Lings has really stepped up its game with the new renovations! Looks NOTHING like the pictures you see on yelp. The new interior is absolutely stunning--perfect for special family gatherings, date nights, or when you're simply in the mood for something a little more upscale. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with an elevated touch that makes dining here feel like an experience. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. And...The dim sum! Easily the best I've had in KC. While it doesn't quite reach the legendary status of Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong, it comes close enough to curb the craving. Mind you, if you're a true dim sum fanatic, this might be a bit disappointing. But TRULY, the best dim sum you'll find in KC. My recs: * turnip cake (10/10) made me reminisce my Hong Kong days * Shrimp Wrapped in Rice Paper (9/10) sauce was a bit too sweet * xiao long bao (5/10) scratched the itch but came nowhere close to the real stuff. rakar's tastes better. * singaporean noodles (6/10) too spicy and had a grainy taste. But the shrimp was good! We're always on the lookout for new asian spots in the area, and I can say without a doubt that Bo Lings has made it to our eat-out rotation.

Stopping in to my favorite Chinese restaurant and it's got a new facelift! Wow! I'm glad they still offer some of my favorite dishes so it was easy to choose. Shrimp fried rice & shrimp egg roll with red sweet and sour sauce. It's my meal! It was still delicious, with same size shrimp and Asian flavor.

Checked out Heritage Bo Ling's after their remodel and the place looks amazing! Their new bar is perfect for happy hour after work and their menu is even better. Can't go wrong with crab Rangoon of course and they have several HH menu items that are delish. Plus you can never go wrong with a cocktail. Check them out!

My husband found this place while I was shopping at the Country Club Plaza! We are from Texas and have our favorite local spots, but was excited after seeing their menu! The pan fried dumplings were my husbands favorite! Everything is fresh and amazing! We had a new server and he messed up our order, but we were happy with the food, that it really wasn't a big deal! Plus, everyone should be kind to people when they are starting out a new job, mistakes happen! The restaurant was quiet and dark, made for a relaxing dinner after a long day of exploring!

We were in the mood for Chinese food. Stop in here for dinner for the first time at the Plaza location. Restaurant is being remodeled. We got seated right away. Staffs was very nice and friendly. Pricing reasonable. Lots of selection on menu. We started off with crab Rangoon. So good with the sweet dipping sauce. For my entree, I ordered Moo Shu for the first time. It comes with a flour tortilla wrap. It was okay but probably not my favorite. Just noticed for a Chinese restaurant, there's no Asian in sight eating here. It is mostly Caucasian American.

Unfortunately I was too hungry to get more than one photo but I tried so many things! First we started off with Szechuan cold noodles, which is topped with sesame seeds and a chili sauce. We also ordered Szechuan spicy dumplings, they are so delicious and not overly spicy at all. We also tried their sweet potato pie, which are basically sweet potato pancakes pan fried and was absolutely my favorite thing we had. We also wanted to try some of the non-traditional menu so we ordered general tso chicken and it was not just your basic American Chinese fried chicken. It was very different than what I've had and it was super crunchy and the spice was perfect. It was a must try if that's your favorite dish normally. Lucky Wok probably does more of their overall business with online ordering and takeout than they do for dine-in. It's easy to order online: just bring up the website, make your selections, check out & pay. And don't forget to tip! Pickup is just as simple, just let the host know that you're there for carry out and your hot food comes out. If there is any knock, then it might be that the turnaround time from order to food is not always as promised. But the quality of the food is wonderful, so I can let a few minutes go here & there. And the prices are really good, especially when you see how much food you get! An order of General Tso's chicken with a side of rice runs me $14+ and I'm not kidding when I say that is easily two meals for me and usually three. Many of the dinner specials come with a side, and the egg rolls and spring rolls are excellent. My wife is a big fan of their wonton soup, a hot, nourishing homemade broth that cures what ails ya. Great food, great location (especially for me), and great value. Definitely worth a try.

The Mushu was good, but they didn't send pancakes or plum sauce which kind of defeats the purpose. I had to go to a nearby place and buy 3 pancakes and sauce for $6. The moo goo gai pan tasted as it should I guess. Very plain. The hot and sour was annoying. It had perhaps two strips of tofu, no lilies, no mushroom. It was basically sour broth with some traces of overly mixed egg white. Someone in the kitchen really doesn't care if you order three containers of hot and sour and none have the basic ingredients. Literally--it was just broth with sour but no hot. I did find one random egg noodle floating in it. It needed more white pepper. The shrimp with pickled veg sounded good because I love Chinese pickles. But it was very imbalanced and all you could taste was sour and salt. It had very few small shrimp mixed in-maybe 7. Not a good dish and no one ate it. If it were up to me I'd give this place a hard pass in future. I'm perplexed that my friends think it's good. Again maybe an off night. But it was a pretty bad one.

Their menu consists of a lot of dishes, and some are quite unique .. you don't usually see items like bird's nest dishes at most Chinese restaurants around here except for maybe Bolings. Me and my husband visited on a Saturday night around 8 pm and really devoured our meal. The menu can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but you honestly can't go wrong with stir fries at any Chinese restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered chicken egg rolls, which were hefty and filling. For the main course, I ordered the chicken in black bean stir fry, and my husband got the shrimp Kung Pao chicken stir fry. We paired both with steamed rice. The black bean chicken was rich and earthy, with that deep, slightly funky flavor from the fermented black beans. It was very umami, salty and complimented nicely with the fresh, crisp vegetables and well-cooked chicken. I really liked it. The shrimp Kung Pao was spicy and tangy, with perfectly cooked shrimp (the fried shrimp covering was chefs kiss) and crispy veggies. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. The egg rolls were about $4 for two pieces, and the stir fries were around $17+ each. The portions are quite large compared to other places in the area, so the pricing seemed reasonable. For 2 main course dishes your bill could easily reach up to $40. Otherwise, The restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, and service was quick. It also wasn't too crowded when we visited. I would rate the service 4/5, mainly because we had to ask for silverware, condiments, and tissues separately. The food, though, is definitely a 5/5. Highly recommended!
