Staff was super unwelcoming. Walked in and the girls were all huddled talking to eachother and laughing. Had to wait on them to finish so we can place our order. Treated us like we were interrupting their conversation. They look like they are in pain when they smile at customers. Super rude, they look like they don't even want to be here. This is the only board and brew I've been to and I have to say the staff is always so welcoming. Great beer selection. There is an outdoor seating area and a bar area. They have happy hour too. Review from a long time fan. The Chicken club is always my go to. Great sandwich, great sauce, great vibes. Anytime I have someone coming in to town I ALWAYS suggest grabbing a sandwich from here. Staff can be hit or miss, but overall friendly. Met a few great employees who were always consistent. Some of the new comers don't seem as enthusiastic but I get it. To the owners: a bit disappointed that you got rid of the military discount for free chips or drink last week. That small gesture was often what brought me here over my other favorite places. It's usually those little touches that makes a place great, and I'm sad to see it go. None the less, I won't be giving up my favorite spot anytime soon, but you just might not see me around as much. Same delicious sandwiches as the original Carlsbad location! I almost always go for the Turkado (pronounced like Turkey + Avocado). Turkey, shredded lettuce, red onion, mashed avocado- deliciousness. Oh- and you're DEFINITELY going to want to ask for more sauce. The staff was helpful and friendly but definitely felt slightly more forced than the chill Cbad vibes. I can't wait to try more things here. I am sad I didn't know this existed before. Lately I've been hearing about it. I tried the California sandwich. It's really good, it comes on squaw bread and has cream cheese on it. Also has shredded lettuce. Shredded lettuce is so underrated for me, I love it on sandwiches and burgers. Another good thing it has that doesn't usually get a lot of play in sandwiches would be alfalfa sprouts. Money. Really good crunch and flavor In this sandwich. It came with a sauce too, similar to a 1k island or French dressing. It was good with it and good enough to have without it as well. They aren't cheap on sauces, two sides of it just came with the sand. Food was Large portion too, especially for a non submarine sandwich. Totally enough food. Next I will try the Baja chicken one. This is regarding an order placed through Door Dash although DD has nothing to do with the complaint. This is the 4th time that I ordered a salad for pick up and they didn't include the dressing or special sauce as requested in the order. A salad needs dressing. I've never been actually inside the building, but is a favorite at my work. All you have to do is mention this place and everyone's heads go up and we all reach for our wallets. The sandwiches are AMAZING! I usually order the Californian or turcado. Both are super delicious. And the sauce it comes with is so good on it! (Although I prefer the Californian without, as is perfect the way it is). They're good the next day as leftovers too. If you have a toaster oven, I highly recommend pulling off all the veggies and throwing the bread/ cheese/ meat in for a minute or so. It's so warm and crunchy. My boyfriend and I ordered here twice in two days that's how good this place is. Also, staff during the quarantine are super nice and friendly over the phone to take orders...!! I didn't catch the gentleman's name, nor did I get to meet him in person, however, not only did he remember my boyfriend from the day before but also managed to get ya our food waaaaay ahead of the time scheduled... did I mention we called the business and they said they were closing In Ten mins and STILL took our order. The employees just violated of both my HIPAA rights and civil rights. I have a medical condition that doesn't allow me to were a mask. I have had many issues with this. I was denied help due to my medicscondition. Will be reporting to HIPAA and the OCR (office of civil rights). Will never come here again and will no longer support a company who discriminated against the handicap. Recent asking someone what there medical conditions is illegal. It unethical to not serve them. You don't know what I've been trough. Saying FU needed doesn't help the fact you denied me service due to a health condition. You still violated my HIPAA rights. Already reported. read more

Hey guys, they're finally open. And the food is just as good as you would expect. It's so nice to have them just down the street, walking distance. No more fighting for a parking spot in a small strip mall (sorry Carlsbad, sometimes it can be challenging). Great vibe, great people, nice little bar area, outdoor seating and a couple of TVs with the game on. Looking forward to many more meals here. Maybe they can start a reward program. We usually frequent the Oceanside location as we live just a few miles away and of the 7 different sandwiches we have tried, everyone single one of them was lights out. Well I was not going to write this but I do need to say tonight was a Huge disappointment!!! My food was taken to the wrong table and the guy went back and took it from the other people and try to act like he was going to make me a new sandwich. I saw it and requested that I get a new sandwichs made. Let me tell you I was already waiting over 25 minutes. Then I saw him grab the original sandwichs that were given to the wong table. I requested a refund and the guy was rude and act like it was my fault. I don't think we will be going back. The staff was rude and the cooks gave me the evil eye.
