I came here today for the 1rst time and WOW...the Pastrami sandwich is off the charts. I think its because of the extra ingredients that came with it like the grilled onions and peppers. They also provided their sauce on the side. It was good size with enough stuffing and reasonably priced. I think it's the best Pastrami sandwich I ever had. I will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches. If their other sandwiches taste as good as their Pastrami I will definitely become a regular here. read more

My review is solely for my experience today and I felt there was a lack of customer service. The cashier just seemed to out of it and wasn't friendly not a bit of smile. After ordering food and observing other interactions she had and it was the same. What triggered me the most is the yelp check in for a free fountain drink on a purchase of any sandwich. I approached another cashed and he straight up said no and I went back to the cashier who took our order and said "if that's what my manager said" something along those lines. I love Board & Brew. My office orders lunch from them at least three times a week. Their sandwiches are so, so delicious! They never skimp out on fillings and that secret sauce makes everything 1000x better. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and it's all honestly so good. Boy is their staff rude here. Ordering the guy suggested I order something completely different if I don't want chicken on it. No I'd just like a simple Caesar salad without chicken thanks. I had to go back to ask for utensils and got a snippy reply. No utensils or dressing was included in the bag so he said I bet there is. I said there isn't so may I have some? I'll show you. I was looking for a sandwich spot near my work on the way back from running some errands. Located in a new plaza near the Tustin Hanger, parking is pretty easy to find and it's located next door to Maui Poke. I was deciding between the California Delight and and Tom's Choice, however, I was told that the California Delight has a huge layer of cream cheese, which I was not a fan of. I ended up going with Tom's Choice, roast beef & turkey with lettuce tomatoes and onions. It also comes with a side of sweet & sour dressing which was an amazing additional to the sandwich. One of the first things that I noticed was how soft and airy the bread was, although being quite thick. It was a pretty hefty sandwich, so after finishing it, I was stuffed. They also have a selection of beer on tap, so a great spot to go after work to grab a quick dinner. Will definitely be back to try their other sandwiches! read more

My Coworkers had been raving about this place so I decided to try it out. The Lunchtime crowd kept this place busy the entire time we were there. I decided to order the Turkado sandwich on sourdough with Cheddar cheese and I got the combo. My Coworker and I grabbed a table and it wasn't long before our order was ready. This sandwich was enormous and worth every penny! The Turkey was stacked a mile high and the avocado was a nice compliment to the sandwich. Absolutely love craft beer and sandwiches so this is one of my favorite lunches to get in Tustin. I have never had a bad sandwich in the 2-3 years I've come here. Usually I get the Turknado sandwich but this time I got the Turkey Deluxe and it's my new favorite. I loved the texture of the sunflower seeds and the soft baguette. I tried it with mustard instead of mayo and it tasted so good! Plus that sandwich sauce!! I can eat that stuff every day and not get tired of it. read more

I was very offended by your Tustin store, they didn't want to add hard boiled eggs without the yolk to my order. They had done it before a few times and I enjoyed the wrap. So because they didn't want to be inconvenienced, they now tell me they can't do that anymore (or cut the egg and I take out the yolk). That's an example of a horrible customer service team and a business culture. Customers shouldn't have to change their likes of a sandwich because of inconvenience. Who does that! Been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally went last week when my best friend was here and we needed some sammich cravings to be satisfied.. Not only was our sammich cravings satisfied but our sammich standard increased substantially. We ordered the California Delight & Baja Chicken and had half each because that's what best friends are for. The California Delight won my heart with the classic turkey on squaw with the perfect combination of texture thanks to the cream cheese, finely shredded lettuce & sunflower seeds... plus I'm a cold sandwich kind of gal. Don't get me wrong though, the Baja chicken was bomb too. The bread was toasted but surprisingly still soft which I was not expecting. The chicken, tender and the sandwich was flavor packed with a little kick from the jalapeños. On top of both sandwiches being absolutely scrumptious, the service was amazing. The guy who rang us was awesome; he even had our order of sandwiches split because he knew we were splitting both. It's always nice when they take extra initiative to keep us consumers happy! Just ordered and both orders were wrong. My veggie wrap did not have the peppers I asked for or mustard I requested. My boyfriend's beef dip didn't have the au jus sauce. The veggie sandwich tastes plain and gross. In addition to messing up our orders, I wish they offered a flavorful vegetarian option. So glad I finally had a chance to try Board & Brew on a recent trip out to the OC. This place definitely lives up to the hype and is such a great stop for a delicious lunch or dinner. The sandwiches are huge without being overkill, and the pricing is very reasonable. I actually stopped here twice for lunch while I was in town, and I couldn't resist the Turkado sandwich. I had it once on their white bread and once on the squaw bread. My absolute favorite was the squaw bread. It's unlike any other bread I've tasted, and it's the perfect match with turkey and avocado. You must (as everyone says) get the secret sauce! It makes any sandwich better. It's kind of a mix of flavors that would remind you of a French, Catalina, or Russian style dressing. Trust me, you need it. Expect to pay $10-$15/ person for lunch if you're getting chips and a drink with your sandwich. read more

This place has become a regular weekend outing for me because it's close to my house, fits my current dietary needs and is pretty reasonable on the pocketbook. The sandwiches are huge and can be customized. I developed an ulcer over the summer and the the list of things that didn't upset my stomach was small, so I basically lived off of plain turkey and avocado sandwiches. I don't know what it is but sandwiches are so much tastier when someone else makes it for you. The reason this location doesn't have five stars is because one of their cashiers has a serious attitude problem. He acts like you're asking him to go above and beyond if you have a question about the menu. Guess what, dude? Came here a few months ago (pre Covid) with my BFF and I cannot remember why we were in the area but we were hungry. She ordered an gluten free wrap and I got a chicken salad (maybe Cobb, no bacon) . B&B also has a wide variety of beers on tap. I give them 5 stars for food and service. We placed a pickup order for a party and the worker accidentally gave us only half of our order. When we arrived at our event, we realized we were missing 3 full sandwiches and the party was kind of a bust. We called the restaurant and the manager was awaiting my call. He quickly apologized and offered us a full refund. To our delight, he made a kind gesture and offered us a gift card as an apology and to earn back our business.
