Part of a retail strip center. Casual atmosphere. Note there is no indoor seating! Not ideal on a rainy morning when we went in Apr 2026. Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas, but everything was soaking for us, so we got our order to-go and ate elsewhere. Place your order at the register. Friendly service, but I'd say slow given there was no line of customers, and still took 15+ minutes. I also had to repeat the specifications of every single item, and our order was still wrong (I asked for white flour tortilla and said it twice, but was given wheat). We got a California burrito (avocado, spinach, bacon, potato, egg, cheese, salsa) and All-American platter (pancakes or toast, eggs, and choice of meat and potato). Add two small lattes and it totaled around $45 including tax and small tip. Good taste and quantity for the price, but disappointed by ordering process and incorrect order. read more

It's located in the strip mall right behind the high school. I placed my order online for pick up and the website was user friendly. I went with the deluxe breakfast burrito with the spinach tortilla, no salsa, crispy hash browns and I added sausage to it (extra charge). Came out to be $16 after tax. The staff was very welcoming as I walked in. I informed her that I had an online order and provided her my name, She went back to see if it was ready and it was not ( I was a couple mins early). She informed me that it should be ready in a couple of mins. I stepped outside so that I wouldn't be in the way of other customers. It's kinda tight on the inside. They also share the space with pizza place . The burrito was good, the spinach tortilla wasn't too different from a regular tortilla. As you can see in the photo, it's got a good mixture of eggs, meat and potato's in it. It can get a bit busy. There are tables outside if you want to dine there. read more

This is a very interesting place that got me confused when I first walked in. Rose Bakery operates in the same place as a pizza joint called Laventina's. They are next to each other with different ordering spots. I went to Rose Bakery to order an iced americano large for $3.25. Great customer service - very friendly. However, it took a few minutes for the drinks to be ready even though there were no other customers. There's no indoors seating. On Labor Day, my usual pizzeria was closed, so I decided to give Laventina's a try. Placed my order online via Toast for pick up. Ordered a large cheese pizza with half bacon, half mushroom. Their large pizzas are not that big - maybe 14"-15". The pizza was fine, though the bacon did get a little burnt. They were super generous with the bacon too. My daughter said it was good, so that was a win. I'd give Laventina's 3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow half stars. Not my favorite pizza in Irvine, but nice to have it as a back up. read more

Our favorite newport beach pizza spot is now in irvine! The service here is quick just like the other location and the pizza is great as always as well as their ranch! Pro tip they offer slices until 10pm! Cute spot for a casual breakfast/brunch. I got the vegan breakfast burrito with cheese and sun-dried tomato wrap and it was yummy. I liked the salsa on the side as well. The hash browns in the burrito are yummy and add a nice crispy bite. My order did take forever and I saw others who ordered after me get their food first. I did have to ask the staff to check on it but they were pretty busy so it's understandable. read more

The California burrito came with bacon, eggs, cheese, avocado, spinach and potatoes OR hashbrowns. I chose potatoes, no bacon, and egg whites. It came with a tiny container of salsa that was barely enough for half of the burrito. The burrito tasted very basic, standard, nothing that wow'ed me. It's small inside and shares the space with a pizza place. There's no seating inside, but there are some tables and chairs with umbrellas outside. This is a communal area with all the other little eateries within that plaza. The service was nice, but I don't think I'll go back. I might try the pizza place in the future. read more

They have a few types but I went with the California which had avocado, spinach, bacon, egg and cheese. Opt for hashbrowns for a nice crispy texture. Variety of coffee options but no ice tea. I can safely say after having so many breakfast burritos here in Southern California; that this was a very good 5/5 breakfast burrito. The fact that you can choose the wrap, and where you want breakfast potatoes or hash browns. The coffee, freshly brewed, was great way to start the day. I will bring my colleagues from the office for Lunch just to try their sandwiches next. I love the fountain and don't like Pepsi so this is perfect. Only recommendation is to please please stay open late at least on weekend. Like at minimum until midnight. I think some new employees at this location . They were nice but got order wrong , I asked for a turkey burger bowl and someone just put the patty on the plate solo . A bowl means just no bread and lettuce instead and tomato and all . There were a few other snafus . I think I asked for ice coffee and got hot or something like that . I've been to the corona Del Mar one and find that to be better right now . The ambiance of the Irvine one is alright except u can't sit inside and no restroom in cafe which is awkward. The outdoor sitting was fine but overall the cafe and staff need improvement . First time going so I may come there again but more to work on. read more

Recently opened and recommended by a few folks, I tried one of their breakfast burritos and it did not disappoint. It was the right amount of egg, cheese, potato and protein. Their salsa comes on the side. Their bakery is opened from 6am to 4pm, while the lavantina is opened from 11am to 10pm. Other food items in the menu range from donuts to burgers to pizza and meatball subs. There is no indoor seating and they're set up to be a order and go/pick-up place, but they do have plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas. read more

First I want to say the 2 people who helped me were very nice. Now the lousy food. I went there to order food to go. I ask for a club on sourdough (toasted)NO avocado, onion, olives?(on a club?), no vinegarette. What did I get? Nothing I said except the no avocado. So I had to go back, which did not make me happy. Remade it without any questions. Just a sad sandwich. And I think their idea if toasted is holding a match under bread. Fries were soggy and undercooked. Turkey wrap below average. I mentioned in my last post that I've been to this place several times since discovering it. The first two times I ordered the pizza, it was really flavorful and satisfying. But unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill since then. Lately, the pizza has barely any sauce. It basically tastes like a plain white pizza with cheap mozzarella thrown on top. I was so excited when this opened up as I've been trekking out to Corona Del Mar for the original location for the past few years. This place is a huge disappointment. Everytime i go, they get my order wrong. Crispy bacon? Undercooked. Crispy hash browns? Soggy, almost raw chunks of potatoes. Add Jalapeños? Completely missing. I have ordered at least 8-10 times from here since they opened, hoping it's a new staff issue and will improve but every time I leave extremely unsatisfied. Tuesday I went into Laventina's to pick up dinner for my husband's birthday. Long story short I was charged incorrectly, pasta I paid for wasn't in the bag, and once home one of the pizzas was made wrong. The employee had no idea how to do a refund. Once home I was upset that the pizza was wrong. I was left without a cheese pizza for my kids. I'm glad I checked the bag and asked for the pasta. Apparently I needed to check the pizzas before leaving. I called to ask for the owner to call me which never happened. Extremely disappointed with the lack of service. Not sure I'll be going back. I think someone from their Newport Beach location needs to work here for a while. The owner contacted me which was nice. The food is good so I'll go by again. I went to buy hot brew coffee , the young man asked me if I want cream on the side, I said yes then he asked another coworker who I guess doesn't speak English or not understanding. Told him no cream on the side. Wow. Donut shop with coffee and capuchino don't have a cream on the side. And he wants to charge me five dollars for a small coffee when I said you know what never mind no I don't need it. He said yeah that's OK. I guess he felt like he doesn't wanna sell me. Stopped by for breakfast and ordered a cappuccino and a latte--both were okay. They were out of gas when we visited, so no hot dishes were available, which was a bit of a bummer. Great location. HUGE breakfast burritos and the salsa is so tasty I always get extra. You can order additions to any burrito and I switch between the crispy hashbrowns and potatoes. Super friendly staff as well that genuinely looks happy to be there. The parking lot gets busy, but if you want to grab and go, it's set up for it. There are also nice tables and chairs set up out front if you want to just sit and relax. They even have a water bowl out for dogs, so it's a friendly place to bring them. I've ordered from here twice now. I like that you can order for pick up online. Food and drinks are always made quickly. The food is okay. Nothing great. The first time I ordered a breakfast burrito with hash browns and only half of my burrito had a small amount of them. Then today I ordered the steak sandwich and ended up with a small piece of a toothpick in my mouth from inside my sandwich. My husband thought it was to keep the sandwich together, but they wrap them to keep them together. The other half of my sandwich didn't have the toothpick. This place is cute and right in the heart of Woodbridge. I arrived on a Sunday morning and there was no line and just a few people eating on the outside tables. They had heat lamps on because it was chilly so it was nice to feel the warmth. Theres no inside seating available. I ordered the Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito. It came with salsa that was very mild but decent. The burrito was a good size and filled with a good amount of ingredients. I just wish they added salt and pepper to the eggs because its lacks flavor otherwise. I also wish the salsa had some heat as it was very mild. Rose Bakery's breakfast burritos are the best I've ever had - you can even pick the type of tortilla you want. They are pretty darn large. I have ordered the California breakfast burrito twice now - egg, bacon, cheese, crispy hash browns, avocado, and spinach with a sundried tomato tortilla. What's not to love? The salsa that comes with it is AWESOME - make sure to ask for extra. It's so good they even sell the salsa in glass jars - apparently people liked it so much that Rose's decided to sell it for people who want to have some at home. Their bakery goods section isn't the largest and I've only tried something once - it was an apple fritter and it was good. However, the big draw for me at this place is their savory entrees...especially those breakfast burritos! We got helped by Barbara both times who was AWESOME. She is super nice/friendly and always answers my stupid questions! I haven't tried the "pizza" side of this establishment yet so I can't comment on that. read more
