May 2026. Came across a review or photos on Yelp and so I came with a group of my co-workers for two main reasons, to support a local small business and it's not too far from our office. The description of positive affirmations on the wall also convinced us to give this place a try. We arrived right before noon and there was one other customer dining inside. While eating there, several people popped in to purchase chips or a drink or sandwich they ordered for pickup. It's bright and clean, but very quiet inside. We were greeted by a woman who's probably the owner and maybe the daughter who was helping out up front. It looked like the husband was in the kitchen and he gave us some recommendations of the panini being popular. Most of us ended up ordering the pesto turkey and apple grilled panini and ham panini. It was a simple sandwich and had basic ingredients like iceberg lettuce and tomato. The bread was nothing special and mine was unfortunately a little burnt. The apple was sweet which tasted like it didn't complement the turkey that well. Perhaps a more tangy apple such as Granny Smith would pair more nicely. Overall , it was bland. I'd like it better if some salt and pepper was sprinkled and maybe consider another dressing. My friend said it tasted like Costco pesto so nothing that wowed us. I was hungry so I ate most of the filling. My co-workers were not that excited either. Maybe we will return to try other sandwiches. read more

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend during my lunch break at noon. We ordered the BLTA and Salami Panini to share. I'm usually not one to buy sandwiches when they're pretty easy to make at home. But these sandwiches were perfectly balanced, super flavorful, and a good-sized meal. Particularly, the produce they used tasted/looked very fresh and was plentiful which I appreciate in a sandwich. Service was fast and the place is pretty small in a very unassuming location. The sandwich I had here was not good. I ordered the Chicken BLTC ($7.95) which has grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheddar, mayo, lettuce + tomato on a baguette. In theory, this should have been a solid sandwich, however, it was a little lacking. The chicken breast were actually several smaller pieces of chicken fitted together, which is fine, but the way the sandwich was assemble made for an uneven distribution when biting into the sandwich. The lettuce was shredded, which again, is fine, but was definitely not fresh because it was slightly wilted/yellowy in appearance. The sandwich lacked flavor as well. I added on a bowl of chicken noodle soup ($3.50), which was a really good value considering the amount they give you. I liked the soup very much. I appreciated the unusual noodle shape. It's a good value for the price because you get a substantial amount of food. If you are the kind of eater who eats of sustenance, Reynolds is right up your alley. read more

It's a good sandwich, but he really wanted to charge me extra to put mustard on the sandwich. The lady was making it from scratch, but he still said it costs extra for mustard to be put ON the sandwich, although he gave me a free pack of mustard to put on myself. If I wanted to make my own sandwich I would have stayed home. Anyway, just put some mustard on the sandwich and make people happy. I was the only person in the shop, so they had the time. I've been to this place to visit a pet hospital across the street. Enjoyed a great portion of sandwich with Boar's head brand ham a lot. These days, it is hard to find a quality lunch meal under $10 wherever, but this place satisfiied my needs. I will definitely go again when I have a chance to visit the area later. read more

Been here lots of times. Used to work in the same area. Came here recently for old times and ordered a sandwich. Asked for a cup of water, and the owner wanted 50 cents. Great little place in a hidden area. Across from the very populate veterinarian office off Redhill and MacArthur. Hours are only like 7:00 to 4:00 I think. I've had a few lunch sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Good prices and always fresh tasting grub. They serve Diedrich's Coffee! The folks who own it are super nice. New Owner is very very rude. I let him know that I called multiple times to place order just to so he can check phone because maybe it's not working. He rudely commented that the line is busy. Only 2 people work in location and neither one was on the phone. I called again inside while waiting for food and I can hear the phone ringing over and over again. My boss comes here often, so I thought I might as well check out whats the rave all about! I went here a couple of times in results of that. Daily Special (sandwich + mac salad + chips + drink: $8-9) I think their sandwiches lacks flavor. I don't know, maybe they need to put more mayo or something. But they do give a good portion of the meat. I usually only eat half from being full from the mac salad, chips and drinks. They're always busy during lunch hours but if you call in first, you just come in and pick up your order, so painless. The truth about this place is, I somewhat always catch myself here, eating all alone during lunch, and enjoying their cold Macaroni salad. and munching on their chips and ice coke OMG, I know, so weird, but it is such a good mix. I can just eat that, coke and chips everyday (but I won't because I'll gain weight that way) But really, it may seem so disturbing, but at night, I think about their macaroni salad. And that will usually lead me there the next day. This is a great sandwich place if you work in the MacArthur & Redhill area. A lot of people from Mazdaspeed across the street frequent this place, so it can't be TOO bad. They use Boar's Head deli meat, so the prices are somewhat high. You can get specials (sandwich + drink + salad + chips) for about $8.00. They're known for putting avocado in just about every sandwich, but they seem to have cheaped out and switched to cucumbers. Their breakfast sandwiches and burritos are really good. I work walking distance from Reynolds. And I must say.. I have never been to a place where all their food is bland and tasteless. Their sandwiches are pricey and have no flavor, so I have to smother it in mayo and get jalepenos just to add some taste to them. Their breakfast burrito is OKAY. It has improved enough that I'm going with an extra star and a fifth just because they are nice people. Breakfast is still good, but honestly it is hard to screw up an egg. I still can't give extra points for knowing how to make bacon and scrambled eggs and then wrapping it in a tortilla. Lunch has improved a lot. Well, on their end it was probably a small change but for me it's a big improvement. The meat portions are a bit larger, not much, but enough to kick you over the minimum to not be hungry at 3. I can't say if this applies to all sandwiches, but it has to what I've seen. Today I noticed the bread is much better. To many people in OC grew up eating Wonder bread. That's not bread, it is bread paste. Bleah. So almost all bread you find is held to that as a base standard. Well, this bread isn't at OMG levels but it certainly is a big improvement. As for customer service, I'm finding that I really like it much more than places that yell out "welcome" or a variation when you walk in. I hate fake. I'm lucky to work close by this place. I love ordering the lunch special because you get a sandwich & a choice of a garden salad(or others) with a drink. Everything is fresh! I have tried the teriyaki wrap which is really yummy even though it's has lots of juice so make sure you have napkins so the tortilla doesn't get ruined. The garden salad is awesome! Best Breakfast Burrito in town, for $3.50 you will be full past lunch time, this short and fat burrito is unbelievably delicious. Hash browns, bacon, eggs, pico de gallo, and the most perfectly melted cheese. I swear by these burritos and so does the rest of my office. Order by 10:30 AM. They will be ready for you to pick up in 5 min. I know it seems unexpected that this sand which joint would make a mean bfast burrito but give it a shot. They are closed on the weekends. Nestled in between a bunch of businesses, this solitary shop takes in all of the surrounding hungry workers. They offer BOARS HEAD deli meats. Top notch. I enjoy that they put a decent amount of avocado in their sandwiches. Most places charge more the addition. They offer daily specials for around $9 that includes a small side, a drink, chips and a drink. the side can be a soup, which is great in this cold weather. Chicken noodle is my go-to. I hope the owners read this post and rectify the possible loss of business caused by their employees. The restaurant states they open at 7:30 for breakfast. Since I work close by, I decided to try them. I arrived today at 7:31, a female employee told me it would be 5 minutes longer, so I went to my car and waited. Around 7:40 I walked back in and asked again if they were open? The same lady now replied she was unable to help me unless I had cash. The restaurant was still dark, the chairs still on the tables, and things looked in disarray. Unfortunately I did not have cash so I was forced to find another restaurant who was open (on time) and ready to provide service!
