This review is for Boardwalk, but also the pier in general... You guys REALLY need to knock $2 off everything on the menu. The food is... Okay... (we had fish tacos, a chicken sandwich, and a crab cakes entrée) but nothing standout. It's on par with what you'd get for 60% of the price at any chain restaurant. Problem is it's served with a sullen attitude from staff, and complaints about other servers being cut, people coming in for their shift and sent home, and other crap customers don't want to hear. As my dad was fishing by the tiki bar, I sat at Boardwalk Bar waiting for a "to go" (why doesn't your staff run food out there??) order and heard all of this. No fresh fish option. On a freaking pier on the ocean. Nuts. Drinks were $8 each and included 1.5oz of carefully measured liquor. Someone else got a "bucket drink" with lines in the side denoting to the bartender where to fill to. It was less than half advertised. The fishing gear my father rented was crap. Bail on the reel had to be manually closed, took a ton of force to reel in because it was really corroded, and the line was the cheapest junk anyone could buy. The game room was empty, with half the games broken. When I popped in, a maintenance guy was posting two of the same "out of order" sign on one machine (why not just one? Or... Why not actually fix it?) Construction is ongoing, but your new bathrooms have no water pressure (literally a tiny trickle out of the men's room sink), and those working were doing pretty much nothing... Except for the dude fixing a beach shower with drywall screws (it's the ocean... Stainless fasteners??) After seeing how Westgate maintains Ober Gatlinburg, I don't have much hope. One star because the food was serviceable. The rest was crap. Also... 18 freaking dollars for a lobster roll? Are you insane? Lobster is the cheapest it's been in 30 years from bulk suppliers... About $7-9/lb shelled. You probably have to 86 more expired lobster because it doesn't sell because of the price. read more

Love the shrimp tacos and the foot long hot dog. Good service. Wonderful to listen to the waves from the deck while watching football. Strong drinks too are a plus. read more

This is a place on the beach!!! A pier in fact. They have great looking food, great drinks and drink specials and it is not OVERLY packed on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is short, but what they do, they do well. I only had the buffalo shrimp and salt and vinegar fries, but they were very good. All of the other food looked great! The salads are served with a HUGE crouton (a bread bowl baked)... Pretty cool! read more

Great location on the pier and wonderful view. The salmon blt was delicious. The fries are very tasty with a spiral cut.

Location was amazing, everything else they failed. Very very slow service. Took forever to get menu and water. Burger patty was burned. Stuffed clam wasn't really stuffed with anything. My kids barely touched their kids menu food because nothing tasted good. read more

Casual dining with beautiful sunset views from the pier. The raw oysters were great quality, large, and delicious. Totally worth ordering here! I believe the menu said they are shipped in from Alabama. The atmosphere was fun and just what you want on a beach vacation. We ate at a more quiet table on the pier, but then moved down to an area to hear live music. Great night! read more

The food was made in a small kitchen on the beach. I was impressed at the speed and consistency of the food. If you want beach vibes, come here! We chose to sit at the octagon bar. We were promptly served by the lone bartender server Wes. He was lightning fast. We enjoyed our food, but their burgers could use some salt on the meat. My wife enjoyed her two virgin puna coladas. $15 to park - 13.95 for a fish sandwich. Westgate has taken over the pier and not in a good way. You used pay $10 to park and get $5 back at the restaurant...NOT ANY MORE. They used to have a Sunday Buffet - NOT ANY MORE. Now you pay $15 to park and get a pass to walk to the end of the pier - Cost is $1 if you don't have the parking pass. AJ the server was The BEST Server...the only reason to walk to this place from the beach. Westgate also takes all the front parking spots for their vans and box trucks...WHY when you have a full empty parking lot during the start of slow season... read more

The only reason I'm giving this place a 2 star review is because they use pasta as a straw. Love the concept of helping the environment, however super dangerous for those of us with celiac disease. What was supposed to be a fun evening out while on vacation became a nightmare of sickness that will last a couple of days. Way to ruin my trip. This bar is on the Cocoa beach pier with Marlin, Mai Tiki Bar, and Oh shucks. It is essentially in the middle of the pier. It has a small bar and seating area that is covered but open on one side to the beach. We went here a couple of times for happy hour during our little spring break vacation. Just like Mai Tiki and Oh Shucks, the mixed drinks are not very good and a little overpriced. The beer is super cheap, specially during happy hour when the beer is dirt cheap. We typically went during happy hour between 4-7pm. Ultimately it is a great bar, it is not a good restaurant though. The food, much like most of Cocoa Beach, is not very good. It is somewhat simple bar food. Alot of seafood options. But, the seafood seamed to be pre breaded, frozen, and fried seafood. read more

This place really let us down Yesterday morning. Two of us sat at a practically empty bar at 10:00am and quickly ordered breakfast- a fruit plate and breakfast burrito. Fairly straightforward you'd think? Not so. After waiting for over 30 minutes and asking or bartender (male, didn't get his name) to wrap our food to go ASAP since we had to get Going he became flustered and we could overhear him saying he didn't want to leave the bar to go check on our food (it was beginning to get a bit busier at the bar) he helped a few more patrons get drinks and then reluctantly went to the kitchen. He came back telling us that our food was nowhere in sight and asked if we were really leaving..? Yes, we said. We had to be somewhere next door at 11am! He looped in his equally useless manager who assured us he reversed the credit card charge but couldn't produce a receipt stating so. Bad business in my opinion. After almost an hour, we left without anything to eat. Total waste of time. Don't bother for breakfast! read more

Terrible service, menu is straight off a food truck delivery, ie onion rings, French fries, hamburger and fried shrimp. BORING! Our waiter was snotty, he tried to get us to leave as soon as we sat down, he kept complaining about everything, he even told us if we order he won't be taking it back to the kitchen!!! worst experience ever during my meal I saw a worker pushing a trash cart past my table and pigeons were eating some fries i accidentally got and the cart worker drove through the birds ran one of their heads over as i was saying oh my god oh my god stop you are running over his head he kept going and the birds head got ran over bad and he flew into one of the ceiling fans and feathers went everywhere and the workers were just like he's fine he's just in shock and i had to get up and leave wish i could get the image out of my head thanks cocoa beach pier restaurant read more

One of the many places we chose to eat at while in Cocoa in April. Loved that you could walk on the boardwalk, have dinner as well & watch the surfers & tourist on the beach while dining. I had the Crab legs., as did my son. They were very good. Nothing more surreal and relaxing than sitting, having dinner & being able to hear the crashing waves beneath the Boardwalk. read more

Food was very good the fries were awesome. Restaurant has a great view. The only problem I had was the portions of the food were small. I paid $20 for 6 grilled shrimp. Brandon, our server, was so nice and attentive that our young kids commented that he was the nicest server they had met all week of our vacation. "Five stars" they said of him happily. Food was good too. I had the Pier Burger and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly (medium), HUGE (more than 1/2lb.), with crunchy lettuce, onions and tomato as fixings. The kids enjoyed their foot-long hotdog (it was so big, they split it), and my wife enjoyed her fish tacos, which is apparently one of this place's specialties. The fries were cooked perfectly. The seafood dip appetizer was delicious, but note that it has a deep smoked flavor that won't be for everybody. Our beers came cold and quickly. We were there on a December Thursday night, the crowd was almost nonexistent, and it was lovely to sit outside above the surf as it crashed beneath our feet. read more

Set out on pier, so guess that is why its expensive. Would go back if I could find free parking close by or walk. It is essentially a dive bar in an awesome location. The happy hour prices are great ($1.66 for a draft Blue Moon...), the staff is friendly and the location is amazing. The food is good, not great, but considering you are dining ocean front and not spending $100s of dollars it is a pretty great deal. Took my family and we all enjoyed it. Walked out to the end of the pier (free with your receipt) and enjoyed people watching as much as the ocean view. It is a good time in a great place. Don't go if you are expecting formal dining but if you are looking for an enjoyable night out, this is it. read more

Just had lunch at the Pelican Bar and Grill and all three of us thought it was excellent! Server, Sapphire, could not have done a better job. Mgr, Rick, stopped by our table to check on us and was informative and concerned about our food and service. We had the shrimp bucket (huge and generous), clam chowder and fresh mahi mahi grilled sandwich. Sunday afternoon with all the TV's set on football .... EXCELLENT!!! They do not know how to make drinks they no how to charge but I am sure they forgot to put alcohol in them. We live local it is not one of the better places to go and have a drink. Service is poor most of the time in the bar. They want to relay on people who are here on vacation. That is fine but they do go home and then they are left with people like us that want to go and have a drink. We gave them several tries I believe it is getting worst . My fault I thought I give them 1 more try they didn't disappoint they got worst 20 minutes sitting at the bar not one person ever said hi or I will be with you in a minute. After waiting 20 minutes some people came up to tell us those sits were held for them by the bar tender but on a side note being a local I will tell everyone what a bad place this is stay away unless you are on vacation.
