Overall: decently fast hot sandwich that is miles above the other options in the terminal. Not exciting and expensive. Food: Hot Cuban on wheat. the meats were salty and oily. The veggies were good though. This food stop is at a central location in the A terminal. That's pretty much the only thing that makes this store. The store is set up as a walk through line, a la subway. Boar's Head claims to be a premium line of meats but I just tasted expensive salty meat. The toppings were solid and varied but that didn't save me from the salt overload. I wouldn't get this anywhere else besides as a substitute for those dry pre made sandwiches. read more

How can you mess up a sandwich .. guy didn't know what bread he had literally starving and asked for a ham and cheese with Mayo... never mentioned that thick ass nasty ass tomato and wilted lettuce they added to my sandwich.. it's should be common courtesy to asked if salad is wanted in a sandwich! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. This is located in centrally in Concourse A. I ordered bold chicken chipotle on ciabatta. I had them toast it also because it would've been a cold sandwich otherwise. It was almost $10. I don't like spicy foods and it was too spicy for me. The chicken didn't taste bad and the lettuce seemed fresh. It took less than five minutes to make. Service was quick and for the most part, very polite. The only thing that distinguishes this counter is the connection/partnership they have with the cupcake place next door that serves WHITE CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES. Around 9am on a Tuesday, they kept the line moving. We were through the line and served in less than 5 minutes. The cashier was very friendly and happy - always nice to see at an airport restaurant. I had the florentine breakfast wrap (microwaved egg rounds, feta, spinach, tomatoes, vinaigrette, add banana peppers) as my late morning breakfast. The sandwich was messy, but the wax paper wrap prevented it from getting all over my outfit as I ate it. Got a simple toasted everything bagel with cream cheese ($2.95) from Boars Head Cafe while transiting through Atlanta International Airport Concourse A. At around 7 a.m. they were in the midst of an early morning rush so it took more than 10 minutes to get a simple toasted bagel but it was done perfectly. I would have liked a little more cream cheese but the small box they gave was just about fine. Will definitely return to try their croissant sandwiches the next time I'm transiting through this airport. read more

I dined on 12-2-16, during lunchtime. The greeting could have been friendlier. This restaurant has A decent atmosphere and food, however I as a single diner was seated in a corridor that lead to the open and noisy kitchen. It seems like this is where they put 1-2s. Took about 10 minutes to be greeted. My spinach salad with chicken would have been great is the server remembered to place the order with chicken. I had not been to the cafe in many years due to the fact, I always find the staff to be rude.. 10/20/20 I decided to go there to get a soup. As I approach the counter I saw someone had left their yogurt so I said to the African American lady who appeared to be management due to she was dressed differently from the staff members. she was doing something in the refrigerator so, I said I think someone left this since I was the only one in the line. She ignored me twice and I just laid it back down and then she decided to pick it up. Another staff member fixed my soup said the young lady at the register would give me a spoon. So when I got my soup after I paid I did not have a spoon. So I asked can I have a spoon please, and then she said someone was coming with them which is something I did not know . Well when the African American (management) with the spoons came to deliver the Caucasian young lady working the register say very loudly so I can hear she needs to quit rushing me and than the management person yes I know she was liked that with me.... so with all this being said if the lady that was in management would of open her mouth and spoken to me I would of not said anything about the yogurt twice and if the young lady at the register (who refuse to give me her name) would of said your spoon will be here shortly I would not of asked for it but, since I was told I was getting it at the register I asked...Im not sure if this staff thinks customers are suppose to read their minds but they may want to open their mouth and communicate! read more

Horrible customer service and experience. Recently went to this place to get a sandwich. The two women working behind the counter seemed to have no idea what they were doing. I ordered a chicken sandwich with Brie. I asked for honey mustard on it. Instead of putting it all over the sandwich, they just put one large pile in the middle of the bread. I then watched them cut the rind side of the Brie and put it on my sandwich. I asked her if I could have cheese instead of rind and she just cut it smaller and put it on the sandwich. Then she put turkey instead of chicken. I corrected her and she took the turkey that had already been placed on top of the mustard off the sandwich and back into the bin. Disgusting. I feel sorry for the next person. This has been one of my go to places for a healthier lunch option but I will not be returning. read more

BOLD BREAKFAST WRAP! You will thank me later, amazing. Get it as often as I can, love it. Toasted which works great as it melts the cheese and warms up the entire wrap. The sauce adds just enough heat without being overpowering. Can't go wrong with Boar's Head and this wrap. Warning, can get a little messy so be sure to grab some napkins. read more

If you need a quick bite before or between flights, this isn't a bad option. Not the best, but not bad. I thought service was okay, and moved at a good pace. It was clean and laid out well to grab and go. They also can fix you up something if grab and go isn't your scene. The filling of my sandwich was good. I'm a fan of Boars Heads meats and cheeses. Unfortunately, the bread it was between was a different story. It was stale, which I assume was stale when the sandwich was made. The sandwiches don't sit long enough for the bread to become stale, I would hope. I hope it was a one off. I like Boars Head, and grab & go places when I'm at an airport connecting flights. The sausage patty was oddly textured, was highly under seasoned for mystery meat, and was still a little cold in the center. Traveling with 9 people from Maryland to Seattle, our layover was in Atlanta. We needed a quick bite to eat so we all ordered sandwiches, only to realize that they were "out" of the spicy chicken for their most popular item (the chicka boom). Once we all decided on a different item, 4 of our orders had to be remade because they were wrong. To top that off, none of our sandwiches were cut all the way through which was incredibly inconvenient while trying to eat on the go...which you'd assume they know you are doing so because you are in the airport. I really like this place. Located in Concourse A, right in the busy intersection of restaurants. The sandwiches are so tasty. They're not dry and are full of flavors. The veggies are crisp and my sandwich held well. I ordered another one for the hotel and another one my flight back. Lol. I will say however, that the service could improve a bit. The girl who made my sandwich was great but the cashier kept complaining loudly about how busy it was and she was "sick and tired of standing here." There was only one other person in line with me. This was my first time to ever eat at a Boars Head Deli. We were traveling and had a 2 hour layover in Atlanta. I ordered a sandwich. It was very good and fresh. I had wheat bread with turkey and cheese. The service was very fast. The only complaint is the service was not friendly. The workers actually seemed annoyed because I didn't understand their ordering process. As you make your way down the line they ask very simple questions. What type of bread? I don't see it listed on the menu so I ask, what do you have? The workers were put out by helping me. It's a shame because the food is really good. Just poor customer service. read more

For a quick premade sandwich to take on the flight with you, this place is alright. They have a handful of choices in their little fridge area, as well as fruit cups and carrots and hummus, among many other things. Where do I start... The sandwich was the only thing after about 18 minutes that was good about this experience. Unfortunately, the person who was making the "Cuban" sandwich that I ordered must have been new because they started to assemble the wrong sandwich. The sandwich was disappointingly overpriced to start off with, but the service only made me more annoyed I was forking over $10 for a sandwich I could get for half the price at Sprouts- with chips & a water, great service, and higher quality sandwich materials. But alas, what can you do when you are confined to an airport on a 3 hour layover before a 5 hour flight? They were out of the cheese I wanted and didn't have any banana peppers- bummer. It's always so hard to find healthy fresh food at the airport. I lucked out when I found this deli, where I could make my own sandwich with all the fresh veggies I wanted. Since I had a few hours in my layover, I ate in the seating area next to the deli. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a nice lady who worked there asking how customers were enjoying their food, and offering to clean up any trash they had. If I'm ever in Atlanta airport again (which I'm sure I will be), I'll make my way to this deli and enjoy a delicious, HEALTHY sandwich! read more

While in the airport making our connection a flight to Denver, we had a lay over that allowed us to eat breakfast. The terminal we were in had the Boar's Head. I like Boar Head meat products so I thought this would be a good choice. HUMMMM....should have looked more. The croissants were "nuked" and dry. Minimal meat for the price you pay. I got an egg white with spinach. The egg was more rubber than egg white. Oh well...it was something to tie us over until Colorado. read more
