I communicated with Bob via text and telephone after having been referred by a former neighbor. I explained that I own a rental property that was experiencing leaking sprinklers, one of which was shooting straight up in the air. Bob responded to the property the same day and provided me with an estimate that evening. He repaired the sprinkler system the next day, following up later with the installation of emergency shut off valves. My concern was to avoid having the tenants be inconvenienced by having a broken sprinkler system and Bob took care of that in short order. The final cost was exactly what he estimated and his response time was phenomenal, especially when most vendors are unable or unwilling to act promptly. I did not want the tenants to lose access to the water supply and Bob was able to meet that need by repairing the broken system and ensuring that future problems could be avoided by installing the shut off valves. This is my second time using Bob & Mimmy and I must say the did an excellent job both times updating and refreshing our landscaping. Bob also installed a drip system on this last visit. Bob diagnosed a problem with our landscape irrigation system that was starving our plants of water and could not be fixed previously by another landscaper and two plumbers. He then replaced our awkward sprinkler irrigation with a drip system that works great! A year later he came out promptly when a valve defect was causing a small leak to fix that. Mimmy revitalized our uninspiring plantings by replacing a number of elements to create a far better landscape that has held up well for going on two years. He was very patient, listening to all my concerns, answering my questions and giving suggestions/options. He provided a very detailed itemized estimate with the option to choose which items you wish to do. Both Bob and Mimmy have a wealth of knowledge and were happy to share it. They were punctual, well organized and professional in completing the project. Bob and Mimmy walked us through each step of the project, answering any questions we had. They were supportive of us wanting to re-use and not waste any viable existing plants with no pressure to purchase more plants than we were comfortable with. When it was time to pick out the new plants/flowers, Mimmy walked us through the Nursery and educated us on how to choose for color, contrast, layering/depth, balance and sun/shade needs. At the time of planting, she brought a variety of plants that we liked, helped us choose the best combinations and then returned the rest. She was very precise in her placement of each plant/shrub/tree, making sure that we were happy with its position/appearance before she completed the plantings. After the project was completed, Bob and Mimmy came back 2 weeks later to see how the plants/shrubs were doing. They noted that the rosemary bush we asked them to re-plant was dying and they replaced it with a new one at no cost. Bob and Mimmy advised on proper watering and maintenance and what to expect with each season. It is very clear that they take pride in their work and have a passion for what they do.
