Campos is great to work with, we had an extensive project of demoing a whole backyard full of trees and shrubs, filling a pool (!!), pouring concrete, building retaining walls, bbq area and a cantilever pergola, all the plants, the list went on and on and Campos delivered every step of the way. I am so glad I chose Campos Landscaping to overhaul our entire backyard. I didn't have many referrals to do full landscape transformation so I vetted a good amount of companies before choosing Campos Landscaping. Selecting a random, unfamiliar company without ever working with them or through referrals is really difficult and daunting considering how much money large projects will cost you. Meeting with Jose (the owner of the company) quickly alleviated all my concerns though. Campos Landscaping is everything you'd want when partnering on a large project like your backyard. Jose (the owner of the company) is: 1. Always on-time (including his crew) 2. Fantastic communication (phone or text--consistently clear and timely) 3. Extremely professional (i.e. the crew is easily identifiable in their branded Campos shirts, meticulous in their daily cleanup, and always courteous) 3. Our cinder block walls weren't the prettiest to look at and our fencing complementing those walls weren't any nicer. For the estimate, Jose arrived on time and took the time to actually measure the yard and talk to me about what my plans were for the yard. He didn't rush the estimate either--he took the time to understand my vision for the space, offering valuable insights and suggestions that were eventually added into the final design. He provided the estimate/quote by end of day and hopped on calls for all questions I had. His responsiveness and ease of communication made me feel comfortable going with Campos Landscaping. During the entire process, Jose would let me know what to expect each week (i.e. demo, cement, fencing, drainage, sod) so I never had to ask him what's next. Any issues I had or noticed during the process was never a difficult discussion with Jose. He was always prompt to address my concerns and he took care of it quick. Mid-way through the project, we decided to add on to the project since we liked what Jose and his crew already did plus we really liked working with Jose. We revamped our front walkway (previously old red bricks), extended our driveway, and added an awesome 8 foot built-in BBQ grill. Now that the project has completed, I can enjoy our amazing backyard and just admire the beautiful work Jose and his crew have done. Also, with the massive amounts of rain we just received (February 4-6, 2024), I can attest that the drainage works extremely well with zero pooling in our backyard.
