Went there today for brunch. It was Sunday so we expected to wait on food. With that being said , we ended up waiting 40 min for a table of 5 food to arrive. When it arrived it was cold. I order the rise and shine burger that might as well of been a hockey puck on a bun. Disappointed is an understatement. read more

When we got there and waited to be seated the hostess/cashier was cashing someone out and walked right between us and said she was gonna walk through and went behind the counter and started rolling silverware and we stood there a couple more minutes and a waitress asked up if we were picking up a to go order and we told her no we were waiting to be seated and she told the hostess to seat us. The server was good and the food was very good. When leaving the floor from the entrance all the way around the counter was wet because they had moped at 7:30 ish and there was a group of 6 elderly people behind us coming through very carefully hoping not to slip. I have worked for Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel and the floors did not get moped till all the customers were gone for safety reasons. Just glad no one slipped on the floor. read more

When we arrived the parking lot was only 1/4 of the way full, this restaurant has plenty of parking. We parked then walked inside, we said we needed a table for 4, they immediately took us to a table and provided us with menus. The staff was all middle age/older and they were very professional. We placed our order and received our food within 20 minutes. Food. The food was delicious, all four of us enjoyed our meal. Everything was cooked very well. Conclusion. Of all the Bob Evans I've been to, the food and service here was the best. We will be back! read more

Wish I would have read these reviews before coming here. Who knew that Bob Evans could have such craptacular service? But here they are owning it!! Waited 25 minutes to be seated only to be left abandoned for a solid 15 minutes before I had to hunt down someone to find a waitress. Took another 10 minutes to get juice and then coffee came in another trip. Staff is standing around smiling and chatting and refusing to make eye contact with customers. In the time we have waited for our breakfast I could have been at home preparing a 7 course meal.....plus dessert. If I don't fall asleep before our food arrives..we are assuming they are actually cooking it...I will let you know about the food here in a couple hours after we've tasted it. Absolute ridiculousness at it's very finest. Congrats for being able to set that bar so amazingly low. That's not easy to do. Hour and a half later we got mediocre food. Room temperature, burnt tasting potatoes and a flippin' green bean in my gravy. Asked for a manger. Explained the situation. She stared and asked me if I wanted new food. I told her absolutely not. She took the plate and walked away. Horribly unprofessional!!! Called corporate from the table. Answering machine. I got the chicken tenders and they were not cooked. I didn't realize it until I had eaten 2 tenders. I told the managers and showed her the pink tender and she wanted to give me like 2 dollars off my meal. Like are you serious? Ordered on Bob Evans website. Delivery. They use Doordash as a partner. I never received my order. Contacted Bob Evans and they said it's not their problem. Extremely rude and ignorant. Called in a carry-out they told me 20 minutes so I gave them 30. I got there and they weren't busy at all and of course my carry-out was no where in sight. They didn't have all of my order so half of my order was cold because I had to wait on the other half that had to be made. Not to mention 2 other people came in to get there to-go and as I step up next to tell them my name the manager walks away and is no where to be found. Then a server finally notices me standing there after 5 minutes and looking at me 5 times, she finally comes over to see if I'd been helped. I should've known after reading the other reviews not to come but honestly how hard is it to mess up mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad but they managed to do it. Started with the last visit and I waited over 30 minutes for my take out - past the time they told me to pick it up. And still got my order wrong. It was obvious the set up they have for takeout is not working. I understand we all have bad days. Fast forward and have the same timing issue. Wait an additional 30 minutes as do multiple others. I had to correct the order once for an obvious reason. Once I got home and pulled all meals out for the family, we realized one whole meal was missing. Called the store back and they said I had to wait additional time to get the food I ordered and PAID FOR! Sometimes things aren't worth the hassle so congrats, you guys got me to pay for a meal I did not receive. I think they all have good intentions but I would reevaluate your take out area. It is apparent that your current model can't keep up with demand. And sad to say but next time I'm looking for takeout, I'll seriously reconsidering any thought to go back to Bob Evans Bellefontaine for takeout. read more

We ordered food and were waiting and listening to the next table saying they have been waiting for over an hour. Our food came and I ordered the broasted chicken and it was raw. The explanation was because they had a new cook in the back and apparently he was not doing well and our server told us that almost every table was getting a discount or a meal removed from the bill. Yuck. I've eaten at this Bob Evans in Bellefontaine countless times, and every single visit just gets worse than the last one. The staff here is absolutely horrible and acts like they could care less about customers or tips. One guy who is a waiter always frowns and moans and groans right in front of the customers and slowly refills your drink while coughing with his mouth open, and I only know this because he's been our waiter 3 visits now and is like this every single time! He is the saddest sack I've ever seen, and the fact that they always have him out on the floor tells you what kind of service to expect here. Last visit my husband got a new open faced sandwich that was supposed to be garnished with corn niblets. What he received looked like they literally opened a can of corn and poured the entire thing on top of his sandwich. Cold and gross. Just listening to people around us, it sounded as if almost every single waiter had forgot an item or got a dish wrong at EVERY SINGLE TABLE that surrounded us (ours included: they forgot to give us silverware and our side of rolls). This place is also getting messier and dirtier as time goes by, which is surprising since they keep remodeling the building every few years like they care or something.
