The food is so great here, love the unlimited banana bread. Pretty sure they don't say on the menu you can swap out your biscuit/pancake etc for banana bread but you 100% should it's amazing. We came here and had a phenomenal waitress, the best waitress I have had in years which is extremely impressive because the food is more inexpensive here so tips are obviously smaller. I think her name was Amy, not sure, but she had dirty blonde hair and glasses I think and was phenomenal. Great portions and prices and typically not too long of a wait. Nothing to write home about it's OK food the service is pretty good most times at least when I was there it was. not the greatest prices but if you have a coupon you can eat relatively cheap. I mean it's a breakfast chain restaurant you get what you kind of expect. read more

Driving through and we wanted a good, "home cooked" meal. We didn't want fast food so this was our choice. The menu online looked good so we were excited to try. The service was good. They were pleasant and fast. My only gripe is with the actual food. All the bread items had a very sour taste. I don't think the menu listed them as sourdough so I wasn't expecting that. Even the biscuits and pancakes had the same weird flavor. It just tasted odd. The fries were hard and stale which I'm gonna guess it was because it was the end of the day and they were just old. The pancakes were hot and big but they didn't include any syrup so my kids had to eat them plain. The worst dinner we got was the grilled chicken breast. The chicken was straight rubber! It was clearly not fresh chicken. Very much like what you get from the frozen food section at the grocery store. The egg skillet was good. All in all, not impressed and especially bugged that I didn't get syrup and it cost me $50. read more

Went here for breakfast family weekend at Mizzou and despite the crowd we were sitting quickly and got our food quickly. Their biscuits are perfect! Fluffy. Warm. And a little salty. I also got eggs over easy which were done perfectly. Each of us actually ordered our eggs differently and we were all pretty satisfied. My only complaint is that the coffee was pretty weak but given the volume of people that day I'm not surprised. read more

There are almost no words to describe the unprofessional atmosphere of this place. Homeless people greeted me at the door. I don't know who my waitress was because she had her name tag on backwards so you couldn't see her name period She was rude and yelling at Adam the whole time I was there. My scrambled eggs were fried. The coffee was nasty. My bacon undercooked. I can't believe how rude the waitress was. The people that live in this town have really, really low standards. Adam checked me out, and grumbled about the black people that came through the door wearing unacceptable masks so they left. this might explain why as a white person I've been treated so overtly rudely by the blacks in this town. However, Adam did seat several locals that didn't have masks on at all. This restaurant needs to be closed. really, the waitress needs to shut her mouth and stop yelling across the restaurant at people. This is my first time to one, and I had been curious since I have seen them in certain parts of the Midwest. The place isn't expensive, but the portion sizes are below average and my pot roast was about 1/4 gristle. Nice place, just don't expect alot. read more

Worst breakfast delivered EVER! Eggs were RAW. Biscuits could've been used as baseballs. Food was cold. Sausage patties hard as a rock. I ordered delivery through their website, which was fulfilled by DoorDash. Bob Evans got the order completely wrong. Salads didn't have all the toppings and they forgot entire menu items. When I called they said to settle it with doordash. I called doordash and they told me to settle it with Bob Evans since I ordered through them. I informed Bob Evans of this and the manager told me that the General Manager would call me the next day to issue a refund. Never got a call or an email. Don't order delivery or take out from them. It's always wrong and they don't care to fix it or give your money back. read more

Sunday, June 2,2019, we were given a gift card and went there. After about a 10 minute wait we were seated, but then were ignored for the next 15 minutes. No one offered coffee, water or anything. There were a lot of empty tables and plenty of employees standing around. We got frustrated and walked out. We went to Cracker Barrel and were seated & served in less time than Bob Evans. read more

Exactly what I expected! Ate here on a late Friday evening (approximately 9 PM) for a light dinner. The waitress had a bit of an attitude, and when we asked her about a dish she told us "I ain't gonna say nuthin' 'bout that stuff!" (not exactly a phrase that inspires confidence!) Companion and I both ordered a pork barbecue hot sandwich--something like a hot roast beef sandwich, but with barbecue pork. The on-duty manager is actually the one who brought us our food, refilled our drinks and generally attended our table. The waitress only reappeared to give us our check and point out we either leave a tip on a credit card when we paid or on the table with cash! The food was decent, not spectacular, but more than adequate and better than most modestly-priced chain restaurant fare. The pork was a little dry, but overall it was pretty good. The service (from the manager) was great, and even the waitress was more funny than offensive. I probably would go back again if I'm in the area. read more

Went in for breakfast. Put our name down for the 10 minute wait. We got seated and were prepared to order. Waitress after waitress walked by and no one stopped to ask us for drinks or if we had been waited on. Manager was cleaning table and asked a waitress to help us. The waitress proceeded to say we were not in her section and promptly walked away. We sat for 10 minutes with no one helping us. We decided to leave since it seemed no one wanted to wait on us. This is a great restaurant. Their store hours have changed though, they are open from 6am-9pm, not 10pm.
