There is construction in the area (7/15/2026) as you can see, but there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant and it is easy to get in and out of and look at that beautiful, historic building! I ordered my entree and side separately and didn't take pictures, but, of course I want to go back and try many more items. It is a family friendly atmosphere and the staff greeted me immediately when I walked in. I sat at a table and the bartender and waitress both took great care of me. Their hospitality was outstanding! I had a delicious chili cheese hot dog on a toasted bun and then ordered the house made kettle chips. I have never had potatoes cut fresh and fried on the spot. They were almost too hot to eat (almost) and the middle of the larger chips was slightly al dente so I knew they were actually cut and fried and not just heated up. I still want to try the spicy pickle fries, the potato skins, the hamburger, some of the sandwiches, and more!

The owner was very accommodating and friendly, so I've increased my rating a little. He was nice and passionate about his food. It just wasn't what I was hoping for when I wanted some BBQ. I've had BBQ all over the country, all styles. I'm not jealous, nor ignorant. I'm just sharing my opinion on a review site.
