First, it wasn't the deliverer, it was Bob Evans delivery preparation and management. Is there new management? Is this how you treat your patrons now? Used to be a good restaurant. Now it is run horribly! This is Not the first time this has happened, but it will be the last, because I am no longer a customer - you were the only one we went to on the holidays too (tsk tsk, all that holiday meal $$ gone for your restaurant)! Having Covid, I couldn't leave the house, so I ordered dinner $75 purchase. The meal arrives and is missing an item (a side choice that comes with the meal) that was ON THE FAMILY MENU, on the receipt, so how could it be a mistake or confusion? So I call the restaurant (frustrated that this has happened yet again) and am told the manager, Mike, is too busy to talk (take care of a loyal patron) and will call back to rectify issue. No call back that night OR the next day. So, I call them back and Mike asks if I can come get the refund - uhh no, that's not how it works and I can't leave the house - I had it delivered for a reason! I suggest they deliver the item to me (they are 4 miles/7minutes away), he says he can't send anyone, I say use the same delivery service and foot the bill. He says, how about I mail you $15 in coupons to the restaurant, and I will mail them on my way home. I agree. The next day I get an email saying they have refunded $8...? What? He lied - that was not the agreement! In conclusion, I am no longer a patron. Your loss! read more

NEVER EVER AGAIN. We ordered the Holiday Hot Family meal to feed 6. Green beans, corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes were okay. Biscuits had been baked a day or two previously and put in a sealed box. And The turkey was sliced very thin like lunchmeat and only enough to probably feed 2-3 people. It was dried out, overcooked and tasteless. Ham was horrible - dried out, overcooked. Gravy and cranberry sauce for 6 consisted of about 1/2 cup total. Requested more gravy and was charged $9.00. Whip cream for pie was small. Pie tasted funny like it had something extra in it. Crust tasteless. Must have been frozen and then thawed. One way not to eat dessert. And all of this deliciousness set us back $119 + $9.( for the extra gravy. costing us $128. of not yumminess. Most stuff overcooked. I do not recommend it at all. Don't waste your time or money. Staff were very confused about getting and ringing orders. One sat in the back and did nothing while customers waited in line. read more

Out of the 4 of us 2 meals were decent , one was great, and the other was not so great (I got hard in the middle semi raw home fries). My scrambled eggs were also on the wet runny chopped up omelet side. I told the waitress she said sorry and left. No offer to fix or change bill. My friend ate a few of the home fries since I wouldn't. Neither of us ate my eggs. When the manager did her rounds after we ate I told her about the home fries. She apologized and said she'd let the kitchen know. I ate my turkey sausage and French toast not the rest. Stopped in for an early dinner and got a great table in the front private section by the windows. Our waitress Felicia (I hope I'm spelling that right - I misplaced my receipt) was so kind, patient, and attentive. I had the Turkey & Dressing dinner with biscuits. Everything was top notch, and we even bought a whole fresh-baked Double Crust Apple Pie to take home for dessert. The restaurant is conveniently located near the highway and right across the street from a gas station if you need to fill up before going back on the road. read more

First time ever Ordered curbside delivery tonight. Arrived and was placed on hold for 10 minutes - Hostess never even asked why I was calling. Went inside to check on status of order and rather than talk to me - I was told "We're busy". Stood there for another 15 minutes before the Manager came out with another order - the only way I knew where their take out order pick up station was. The hostess did not speak to me once after telling me "we're busy". It would have taken her 1 minute to get my name and explain where my food was. As far as chain restaurants are concerned, Bob Evans is probably one of the better one's around. this location was different as far as the environment is concerned. The food is what the food is, better than average quality and taste. No argument against my lunch. What really impressed me although we were in from out of town and the restaurant was not very busy, it was apparent that everyone in the restaurant were regulars The great thing is that we were too treaded as well as the regulars. As a Connoisseur or wholesome delicious food I give Bob Evans my seal of approval. Cindy the assistant manager is a wonderful woman and made my business meeting breakfast worthwhile. On the other hand there was room for improvement with the eggs. The sausage grave "looks like sludge from an engine". Deb our server seemed unpleased with working. She gave us the bill before offering us refills or asking if everything was alright with our meal. It's clear to see why this restaurant has drastically declined recently. The condescending attitude and the way the so-called manager (Andrew Jasper) talks to his employees in front of guests is beyond professional. I've been coming to this restaurant regularly for over 10 years and you can visibly see the change in morale and service. Really it wasn't bad, at least for this location it's one of the cleaner and more well stocked places to eat. I had the cinnamon supreme pancakes and they came out looking just like what was on the menu. It's basically the east coast version Marie Calendars. Today, I had a "golden waffle breakfast". The waffle was good but the sausage patties were dry and burned to a charcoal black. My significant other also dined with me today. She ordered french toast with apple strudel topping. It looked like they dumped a soup pan of frosting all over. There was a piece of bacon hiding inside the first bite of cool whip and the sear on the toast tasted of meat grease. No drink refills were asked or completed, no concern about how the food is or was, and glares at us and other customers by waitresses for no apparent reason were our experiences. No check was brought to the table and we felt stupid and somewhat emnarassed after having to practically beg to pay so we could leave. The honorable mention is the unforgivable mess under the table and the lack of concern by waits staff and management about the cleanliness of their restaurant. They were more worried for a 40 people that walked in without a reservation then the rest of the restaurant, manager included. After being seated we got 1 cup of coffee and and our food. The food was cold the toast was bread warmed up with no butter. I server came got our order and didn't come back until it was time to drop off the check. How much time do you have to wait? After waiting at our table for 10 minutes someone came to our table to take drink orders. We told him we were ready to order. He said he didn't know how to do that. He took our drink orders and brought the drinks back 5 minutes later. He said our waiter would be right over. After another 5 minutes no one came. I kept staring at wait staff who were standing around. Finally a server with a name tag that said trainer came over. She took our order. 7 minutes later she came back and told me what I ordered wasn't available. I picked a salad that was similar to one I get at Wendy's. When our food finally came out about an hour after arriving at the restaurant my salad was sad. The salad at Wendy's is cheaper, bigger and has better lettuce. There was even a line to pay to get out. If you have an hour and a half and want a leasurly meal then this is the place for you, if not run! read more
