consistently excellent with a great patio. food and service are stellar. inside seating is comfy, old-style pub grill without the grime! love this place

I got the pa. Seared sea bass with truffle risotto. It looked like frozen puck if sea food wirh some sort of cream dumped on it and I paid $36 for it!! It was so disdisgusting I couldn't get it down. My husband had thr black and blue tuna and it was dry and hard like it had been frozen and reheated with some sort of white sauce. So disappointed. I should have just gone to a local pizza place at least I xcould have gotten it down. Do not go here!!! They charge high prices for frozen food!

Beautifully lit ambiance. Family friendly customer service. Exquisite scallops! I was in town visiting my friend and she recommended Landmark. We dined on their patio and had a lovely evening. Highly recommended.

Delicious beef Wellington! They handled our work party so well. They fed 20+ people in our party with only one inaccuracy on one meal. They were fast, on temp, friendly, clean, delicious, plated well, and accurate except for 1 real. Beautiful establishment with great staff. I'm a regular now!

But there's a good mix of other cocktails and beers too. The owner seems really nice, she was working the kitchen along with a couple other family members, good to see, especially since it was all women- love a female owned business that's doing well and doing it right. Chicken tenders were good, not great but I think they're on the menu to placate the kids coming so fair enough. The rest of the food was GREAT. We started with calamari and it was great, came with a lemon dressing already on it which was good and didn't detract from the crispiness at all. Also had lots of battered pepper rings as well, nice balance. Combo seafood basket was solid. The shrimp were great as was the haddock - all battered on site. Fries were thin and crispy. The winner though was the California Grouper sandwich which was a daily special. It was fantastic. I could have eaten two. Came on a soft roll, with slaw and bacon and avocado and I forget what else because I devoured it so quickly. I'd go back just for that sandwich. This place is definitely worth a stop if you're ever out by the lake.

I lived in Dunkirk for several years, but the changes that they have made to the pier and boardwalk are really unbelievable !!!! Shops & restaurants and this gem!! Let me be very clear in saying that there are maybe three tables inside; this is definitely a grab and go restaurant . However there is a huge patio with many many tables even if they are full, which is doubtful, you could certainly grab a spot on the boardwalk nearby . We happened to have a beautiful night and we have an event to go to at SUNY Fredonia so a friend recommended this place . We waited about 15 minutes to place our order. After ordering we enjoyed our drinks out on the patio while we waited for our food. I opted for an alcoholic beverage while my son had a virgin piña colada. Our number was called maybe 15 minutes later and we were served absolute deliciousness. My son ordered the California, which was a delicious crispy fish sandwich while I opted for an Asian chicken wrap. Our food was absolutely delicious. Served just right. The food temperature was perfect and the portions were ample . The service was wonderful. If I ever come upon a beautiful night again in Dunkirk, I will definitely be visiting this place !!!!

My husband enjoyed the Violet French 75 in particular. The rosé margarita is beautiful and tasty, but I especially enjoyed the amaretto sour. Wish I saved room for the chocolatini. I had the lobster ravioli in a champagne lemon sauce for an appetizer. It's one giant ravioli and so good. It exceeded expectation, as did the lobster mac 'n cheese. It had a creamy beer cheese sauce, but I think I also tasted some truffle, too. I couldn't decide between the two dishes, but the flavors were distinct. My husband had the BBQ pork belly ends for an appetizer, and the delmonico steak with garlic herb mashed potatoes and carrots. He also raved over everything he ate. Great complimentary bread, too. We sat in a cozy booth with a nice view of Lake Erie, but the food and drinks were definitely the stars of the show.

Smugglers' Wharf…read more GOOD: Food quality, service and atmosphere BAD: Price heavy on sides and starters I loved my experience at Smuggler's Wharf. The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly and the location is pristine. The bay views make the already cozy interior even better. It loses a star because they really put the squeeze on when it comes to simple things like french fries. Fries are cheap to make and a customer favorite. Your options are 9.00 starter or additional 5.00 when you pay for a sandwich - hard pass. It worked out because the potato salad they offer free is bonkers good. The other thing I didn't like is they charge 9 for a cup (ouch) then 10 for a bowl of soup. I ordered the bowl - very tiny little thing. My two cents, get a nice glass of wine (if that's your jam) and a quality entree. Iam going back for the carbonara very soon.

It's old and run down and needs upgrades especially in the bathroom. The door in the restroom couldn't even close and it blocked the sink. I had to stand on the side of the sink to wash my hands. Then the blower to dry my hands was very weak ( they need a new one) and there were no paper towels available to dry my hands, so I had to allow them to air dry until I got to the table and used napkins. This place is like a catch of the day, sea to take kind of place. Which I would expect being located on the bay. But the seafood was flavorless. The table had fried calamari, and although it wasn't chewy, it wasn't seasoned with anything so it was like cheating crispy air. The other food was pretty flavorless as well, which seems to be a trend in Erie, PA. I had a burger, the burger wasn't anything to be desired. Definitely lacked flavor and seasoning. The fries were good fried pretty good but had no salt. The veggies on my burger however were fresh and had a good crunch. The fish was a bit under fried for my liking, I sent back and they fried another piece without a problem, but it still could have been fried longer. The chocolate cake was ok not too sweet however, it was a bit dense. I probably wouldn't come back here.

She seated us in our favorite area and advised us on the menu and specials. We ordered drinks and Shrimp Cocktail and Lobster Bisque app. The drinks, ambience, appetizers and company were all perfect. Then we ordered the mains. We had the Seafood Medley with asparagus and broiled Cajun haddock with broccoli. Both arrived in good time, cooked perfectly. We were given good portions, not skimpy like some places. We don't often get dessert, but when Mindy told us they were made in-house and the coconut pie was gluten free, we had to. I ordered the peanut butter pie. Both were a perfect ending to a wonderful experience. I don't often review, but I had to this time because it was so good.
