Waited around for over a half an hour for a DoorDash order only for some shrill woman to yell at me after buying a loaf of banana bread, then watch her throw orders on the counter - they literally served every patron who came in before AND after me without getting my order out F* this store

What are you bad star reviews talking about !!!! This is the best Bob Evans I have ever been to! The portion sizes, the biscuits were so salty in a good way and tasted like made from scratch (could've fooled me), my waitress I wish I could remember her name she was nice, attentive and I've never been asked before if I wanted refills to go... that was great of her. I wasn't waiting long at all for food. The high chair was clean which was a huge bonus. We WILL be back! We drove 40 minutes to visit the AHA! kids museum in Lancaster so next time we make the drive we will stop here for dinner afterwards.

I had Bob Evans for the first time ever today and the caramel mocha was everything I've ever wanted in my entire life. I had 4. Roy was the best conversationalist and has become my best friend! I will be returning just to talk to Roy. Classiest joint to be placed on God's green earth. I really hope that Bob Evans farmers don't start to revolt like the farmers in France because I would rather starve to death than eat anywhere else.

Things were a bit chaotic at this location. I went on New Year's Day and apparently their delivery truck was late so they were out of a lot of things. First I asked for coffee and my waitress went to 4 empty tables to collect cream for me because they had no more. Which I did appreciate. Later my waitress apologized and told me that she had forgotten to put my order in so my coffee was free for my inconvenience. I appreciated her honesty. Then I asked for ketchup and my waitress again had to hunt tables for ketchup and then later asked me if I was done with it so she could give it to someone else. I've never tried the eggs Benedict before. It was good. My experience, though different, was good. My waitress was sweet and quirky.

    Spinach salad so tasty.

Service was terrible, food was worse, everything was dirty and greasy. Would not recommend.

Worst food I've ever got at this location. Chicken was chewy, could hardly cut with a knife. Will be a long time before I return.

Pretty decent meal and coffee. I just wish they would offer cornbread for the soup beans and a gluten free bread

Amish Country at its best!…read more This is a gem of a restaurant. We found this place thanks to the great reviews on Yelp. We were not familiar with Baltic, Ohio, yet we were so happy we found this place. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were eating in someone's home. Christian, the manager, could have not done anything more to accommodate us. He really went out of his way to enhance our experience. Our waitress, Arlene, had told us she had been there for several years and you could really tell this by her ability to help us through the menu. She wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. The menu was one like I had never seen before. Everything from a large breakfast selection to Wagyu and Prime steaks. I had the best Ruben sandwich I had ever eaten ( that is saying a lot). We also shared the Wagyu filet with hand cut fries and sweet potato fries. The steak was sautéed with fresh mushrooms and onions. The steak was seasoned to absolute perfection. You have to try this. I have posted pictures of the menu. Don't forget a side order of homemade mac & cheese. Their prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The decor is perfect. Simple yet very pretty. They even have a nice area (living room style) that we hung out in until our table was ready. This Amish restaurant is the "best of the best". I will be back in this area next year and will be sure to make this my go to restaurant. Bravo to the staff and chef, well done.

Frankly, I didn't hate or love it. I just don't see a reason to make a trip there other than a…read morelack of competition. Food = Jalapeño popper dip was good. Pork chop was cooked alright, but definitely needed a sauce to add some flavor as it was bland. Coconut mango rice was sad (my wife is filipino so she knows a bit about rice, mangoes, and coconut). I had the reuben and it was alright. I don't understand why all the steaks and fish are "market price" on the menu. This is not a fancier restaurant that serves wagyu, why can you not figure out how to price half of your meats? Service = Good with no problems. Restaurant = Stylish, Spacious, and Clean.

Went to Pataskala to get pie from the Nutcracker Restaurant only to find out its closed today…read more... So after a quick Yelp search of lunch near me, the first hit was Olde Towne Cafe and Inn which had five stars. I decided to check it out. I have to say I drove right past it! I was expecting for something a bit more store-fronty this really looks like a house and I missed their signage. I turned around on Rail Street... got distracted at Porters but within five minutes was back on track to Olde Towne. They have a small parking lot which had a space, so I eagerly parked and popped i side. It is super cute. Very farm house-ish. Definitely a old house converted i to a bed and breakfast with most of the downstairs rooms dining. The kitchen can be seen from the room I sat in. It looked very clean and organized. I browsed the menu and decided on pancakes. They are served with bacon or sausage.... Im not a huge meat eater so I chose bacon and crumbled up on the pancake.... Ended up pushing it off the pancake and not eating it. Not their fault. Bacon is fine but Im just liking bacon less and less. Today was a no bacon day. Lol. However the pancakes! Wowzers. Huge. Fluffy. i got two that were each almost as big as the oblong platter they were served on. I couldnt finish all of it. They were delicious. I see why people give this place a good rating. The staff was welcoming and make you feel at home. Its just a good old fashioned breakfast/lunch spot. Not bougie at all... which to me is a plus "not" to be bougie. Sometimes you just need a place that feels like home. This is that place.

That solution was found here- a delicious bowl of steaming hot homemade cauliflower and cheese soup. And I paired that with an incredible grilled cheese. The soup was thick and creamy, with plenty of cauliflower in a rich, thick soup. It was the best I have ever had and if it was an all you could eat deal - I would still be there eating! I felt like I was sitting in a warm country kitchen. The place was decorated tastefully and warmly for the season. I will have to come back and check out their other soups. I loved the whole experience here and think I will come here often!! And the service was as warm and friendly as the atmosphere! Hats off to this comfort food jewel!
