We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The service overall was very slow, it did take a while for water to come out, and then for our drinks to come. It seemed like somewhat of a busy night, but the service was still extremely slow. For drinks, we ordered the strawberry lemon drop, and the champagne sangria. We were told the strawberry lemon drop was sweet and that's why I ordered it. It was the exact opposite. So bitter that I had to ask to switch it because that's how bitter it was. The champagne sangria was just okay. For appetizers, we ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls. These were OVERLY fried. It felt like I was eating fried dough with some bits of chicken. Flavor was okay, but I definitely wouldn't order these again. We also ordered a Cesar salad, and a greens salad. These were both very delicious. The Cesar salad was very good and you can request it with our without the anchovies on top. We ordered a lobster bisque soup as well which was good. For dinner, we ordered the Twin Filet Medallions. I ordered mine medium. The issue with this was that one of the filets was cooked medium, and one was cooked medium rare. The one that was cooked medium was absolutely delicious, the one that was medium rare was not as good. I was disappointed with this because I only enjoyed 1 out 2 of the filet. This dish came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. The plate itself was HOT, however the temperature of the mashed potatoes was warm on the outside, and then the inside was cold. For desserts, we ordered the crème brûlée, the chocolate cake, and the cheesecake. The crème brûlée was by far the best dessert. The top was nice and crispy and the flavor was delicious. The chocolate cake was huge, and also really good. The cheesecake I would not recommend because if it wasn't for the peach compote on top, it would have no flavor. It was very very bland. Overall, I would return to this restaurant and probably try different menu options. The service and consistency of the food lacked, but I would love to give it another try.

It's got an old feel to it, but also modern. Hard to pin down. It was loud at medium capacity, can't imagine when the place is hopping. The server was fine, but he took forever with the refills. The food was good, nothing to knock my socks off. Part of my giving a four star is because I hate when places don't include fries with burgers and sandwiches. You're charging $14 or more dollars for a sandwich or a burger, you could at least put a handful of fries with it and not charge me another $5 for it. Sorry for my rant. I would eat here again, but it's 40+ minutes from my house, so I don't know when that will be.

My waitress was very sweet and attentive and was a pleasure to speak with. I ordered the buckeye skillet. It came out really quick and was very hot and tasty. The base of the skillet is a biscuit with sausage gravy, which were surprisingly good for being in Northeast Ohio. I liked everything about it except that I always order my hashbrowns crispy crispy and the ones that I got were soggy. Johnny's serves up a good cup of coffee, a nice dark strong cup of coffee. I'll definitely be back again. I will bring my wife and friends. I looked at their menu and they look to have an authentic Philly cheesesteak made with cheese whiz. I'll have to try it next time. Overall, a good experience I would recommend Johnny to anybody wanting a good bite to eat at a fair price.
