The place is good, very hometown-type feel. When we first walked in, we stood in the very small doorway for a good 3-4 minutes, next to the sign that says "please wait to be seated". Finally, we were acknowledged and seated in their 3rd room-space. It was Sunday, around 12:30pm; busy for their respect and we were a party of 5. Not ideal for a 4-sided table, but luckily there's a corner booth in this room. Food was good, to be expected for a diner. Kids had fun, nothing was left on anybody's plate. When paying, the people behind the counter were very nice. Can't imagine we'll be back anytime soon, but it's not bad for an impromptu Sunday lunch/brunch.

Benedict was amazing! I prefer the sauce to be more buttery than tangy and it was amazing. Eggs were does just right. Service was great! They were a little short handed but the staff was super kind and timely. This place has become a favorite of our. We love it. The pancakes and the best I've ever had to!

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years now. I've since moved an hour away but stop by when I'm in town. Not much has changed. They still serve top notch food with excellent service. The owner even remembered me after all these years. If it's not broken don't fix it. I brought 2 friends with me for their first visit recently. It was a Sunday and it was packed with the after church crowd, but we were seated promptly. We ordered the patty melt, blue chicken sandwich and bacon, egg & cheese croissant. Everything arrived fresh, hot and timely despite it being so busy. If you're in the Aurora area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I've never had a problem in 10 years of going there! I can't wrap my head around WHY so many people bad mouth this place. It's a family-owned deli. It's not snooty or pretentious. It's good, honest homestyle food. They serve breakfast all day. And I believe they still have the best ayce fish fry Friday during lent in northeast Ohio! With that said, if you want a gourmet 5 star experience, keep on trucking a little further down Rt. 43 and don't choke on your silver spoon. You're welcome.

Burnt tasting potatoes under cooked onions. How???

So originally I have them a 3 just for the fact I ordered bread didn't get jelly. I didn't get salt or pepper for my eggs and has and I only have three potatoes. Now that I'm eating my onions are not cooked the potatoes are burnt and I'm just overall unsatisfied with my meal.

This place was so awesome we ate here two times in a row ...the French toast with the banana's and candied nuts was AMAZING and I had the omelette chorizo and the crab eggs Benedict and I'm very picky about the Hollandaise sauce and this was so yummy ... both were good but chorizo was my favorite . Tried both the pancake and French toast with the bananas and nuts and can't pick a favorite because they were both so good!!! The locations has a gorgeous view of the ocean

Every time I pass by this restaurant, the parking lot is insanely busy. I figured I would finally give it a try and many years. Even though it was busy, my friend and I were seated right away. When you first walk in there is a seating area, then to the left is another room with tables and booths. The menu has a good variety of breakfast items. I believe it is comparable to Bob Evans. The pricing is a bit cheaper than BE, which is a plus! The servers who refilled coffee were great. They were always checking up on everyone. I ordered one of the skillets which came with potatoes and toast. It did take a while for he food to come out, but it was so delicious. Everything was tasty and cooked perfectly. I would try more if there food again. Although, because it was busy the service was slow. I wasn't able to ask for another ketchup and a refill on my water. This is a place that would benefit from ketchup bottles on the table and pitchers of water already on the table since they get so busy. The workers were all friendly and this place is in a good location. I would recommend this to others and come back again.

It's supposed to have a balsamic drizzle ... tonight it was in a weird white salad dressing and the goat cheese was "melted " into the salad due to the excess dressing. The Mac and cheese side we had when we first ate here was creamy and cheesy and wonderful. Tonight it was noodles and cheese .. it wasn't creamy ...disappointing. Most of the food is good just inconsistent. The size of the sides also varies each time we've been here. Server was great but she appeared to be the only one on the floor on a fairly busy Friday night. We waited over an hour to get our food..which didn't all come out together. One guest waited quite a while after the rest of us received our entrees to get his. It's rather crude to start eating until everyone has their entree so by the time he got his most of our food wasn't super warm. I feel like if this restaurant is going to succeed some changes need to be made, mainly coming out of the kitchen.

I ordered two grilled patty melts and received burgers served on soft wheat bread instead of rye. The bread wasn't even grilled, and the sandwiches had cheddar cheese instead of Swiss cheese. The entire order was prepared incorrectly. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, and I was shocked by the response. The owner--not a manager--told me there was nothing she would do and that I needed to file a complaint with DoorDash. DoorDash didn't prepare the food; the restaurant did. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself, but the complete lack of accountability and customer service. Errors happen, but refusing to address them is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with this establishment and will never eat here again. The owner's attitude has completely ruined what was once a decent restaurant.

Thankfully a table of 6 arrived shortly after we settled in. It was a weeknight and the weather was miserable so I'm sure that contributed to the lonely dining room. The menu is interesting and has something for everyone. I wish I knew how good the food was before we ordered because I would have been more adventurous and ordered the lamb chops. Instead I played it safe by ordering the strip steak. Excellent! My only complaint is that it only comes with one side. I chose asparagus and my husband ordered Brussels Sprouts. Both were fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely get the Soup Trio with the Grilled Cheese! I wish every restaurant offered this. The tomato bisque was excellent and the chicken noodle was good too. But skip the pasta fagioli if it's the soup du jour. The steak tacos are another excellent choice. The meat used is the trimmings from the strip steak so it's tender and full of flavor. It also includes corn and a horseradish sauce. It's not traditional but it's great! They have brunch on the weekends with a Bloody Mary bar and lots of weekly specials like 2 for 1 dinners, burger night and $7 flatbreads. On Wednesdays they have karaoke in the adjacent Tavern so keep that in mind if you want a quieter experience. They have the same menu in the Tavern so you can join in the singing and still eat well.

We were seated immediately and instantly felt our experience was going to be top notch. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, upscale but still casual. We ordered the deviled eggs and the sushi shots as an appetizer. The shots were amazing. Fish was fresh and the wontons dipped in the sauce were fantastic. The deviled eggs were just ok and tasted like any normal deviled egg. Nothing to write home about, but fine. For my entree I ordered the mixed grill and chose the Caesar salad and lobster tail. I think it was one of the best Caesar's I've ever had. The steak was cooked perfectly and the tail was huge! The potatoes were good but a little gummy (potato snob checking in. They were still edible and I finished them, no complaints.) There was some awkwardness in ordering my birthday dessert, however. The server that filled our waters when we were initially seated asked if we were celebrating anything - yes my birthday! She mentioned that I would get a brownie with ice cream on the house. Awesome! My favorite! I don't think this was communicated to our actual waitress. When I asked about the brownie she said "yeah it's a birthday thing, but I think I can make that happen". But.... It's my birthday :'( I felt like a jerk making some special request. My brownie came out without a candle. I overheard a woman at another table also celebrating a birthday and she got a candle with her birthday dessert. I hate to sound like an ungrateful pick me brat, but I wish this would have been communicated to our waitress. Having to ask about the brownie made me feel awkward. I can deal without a candle I swear!! But why wasn't it communicated to our actual server that we were celebrating? It's really all in the little details. But definitely not a make or break. We visited all the way from Pittsburgh, and talked about the meal all the way home and how delicious everything was. We will absolutely make the trip back.

This is a "below the sidewalk" establishment and gives off a smokey, speakeasy type vibe... very classy. As you enter you will discover the hostess is at the far end of the room where the entrance from the rear parking lot is. Evidently that is where the majority of customers enter. I prefer the front... no matter. She saw us right away and immediately walked over and greeted our party. We were quickly seated at our table for the evening. A nice gentleman introduced himself as Christian, our server for the evening. He was quick with a smile and full of knowledge and energy. We placed our drink order and began to peruse the menu. The regular and evening specials menus are more than satisfactory to make any pallet happy. We began with "Deviled Eggs" topped with Caviar, need I say, they were marvelous. Also, the "Oysters Rockefeller" were excellent. The choice of entree's are very nice. My wife chose "Chilean Seabass" Spice Rubbed Carrot/Ginger Puree Haricot Verts Almond/Yuzu Chimichurri. I went with my absolute favorite, "Lamb Chops" Herb Crusted Dijon Crispy Gnocchi Green Peppercorn Jus. So did my brother. And his wife ordered the "Sea Scallops" Roasted Beets Humboldt Fog Pistachios Orange/Saffron Butter. Everything was exceptional as always. KUDOS to the entire kitchen staff.
