The food is good, the service was really good, you can tell they were understaffed but the lady did a great job checking on us every time she walked by. The place is nice and clean god ambiance conducive to conversation. My friend ordered a chicken noodle soup and she got a big bowl (see picture) I ordered one to go and I got less than a cup (see last picture with my friend's empty bowl and my to-go container next to it. I was disappointed. My friend had told me that orders to go are always smaller, I couldn't believe my eyes. I will go back again but I won't order to go again.

Biscuits and gravy and perfectly made over medium Fridays and crispy bacon.

Best breakfast around. I can't always count on the biscuits and gravy in the nice crispy bacon. The cook made my eggs perfectly. And Carla, the server, is so stinking sweet. No french vanilla creamer but she brought me vanilla sweetener. She always goes above and beyond for me. And the others she seemed. The staff seem to get along great and the food is always excellent. Wheelchair accessible and clean and always fully stocked. THANKS CARLA!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!

Uninspired to make the Christmas Eve dinner we were planning, we decided to eat out and check out the lights at Bronson Park and the luminaria in the Winchell neighborhood. But on Christmas Eve our usual haunts were closed. All of the Nonlas (Burger, et. al.) were closed. Niko's Express was closed. Chinn Chinn was packed with busloads waiting. How about a Jet's Pizza? Closed. So we resisted our desire to shoot ourselves in the heads again by going to Steak 'n Shake and went to a restaurant we hadn't been to in ten years. And, yikes, it started out badly. We walked in and stood, waiting to be seated, and three employees bickered with each other, each one trying to get the others to show us to a table. I say out loud, "You realize we're standing here?" The employee with the arm sling lost, and she showed us our table, saying as she left, "I like your bear." But our server, Lindsay, was long in efficiency and energy, particularly considering it was Christmas Eve. She took good care of us. We appreciated not having the server assigned to the neighboring booth, who spent the bulk of her time chillin' with customers and sharing, for example, how she couldn't wait to quit and start her job at Outback's, and how she was anticipating with excitement making better tips because Outback's served alcohol. A third server, clearing a nearby table, dropped a dirty napkin to the floor. The Future Outback's server walked by, looked down at the napkin, and passed it by. Lindsay picked it up. My girl ordered the shrimp dinner. I had the Shaved Ham and Swiss Melt. My girl liked her dinner a lot. She thought the shrimp were good size and tasty, and commented that the baked potato and sour cream - and the cole slaw side - were the best she'd ever eaten. My sandwich was described in the menu as "Shaved hickory-smoked ham, melted Swiss cheese and caramelized onions layered on grilled Brioche bread and garnished with deli pickles." No pickles and the bread was Texas Toast. And the sandwich was 95% bread. The amount of protein and cheese was minuscule. A rip off. My girl, midway through the meal, had to use the bathroom. She told the hostesses afterwards the bathroom was a Superfund site. As I was paying the tab, my girl checked. She said the bathroom had been properly cleaned. I suppose Bob Evans restaurants are this generation's Bill Knapps. The environment is a safe one, it doesn't serve alcohol, and the food is usually filling and forgettable.

I don't mind giving places their redemption. Which is why here I am at bob eve and again. Mason jar of water was cracked and leaked all over the table. But a manager did come and get the jar. No napkins to clean anything though. But thank goodness for the one holding the silverware. The food was ok, it was cold, so it did sit for a minute. But it wasn't over or undercooked. Warmed it up and that was that. Bottom line. The server was wonderful and the food was ok. So it was a bearable attempt to try again.

Delightfully surprised. Usually not for chain restaurants but the service was fantastic and the food was very good. Will go again for sure.

The food was good, although Kayla was the worst server I've ever had in my many years of life. Someone needs to be retrained.

600 is such a cute place for a lovely meal!…read more We have been multiple times but stopped in on a recent sunny afternoon for some lunch. 600 is so light and airy, we really love the atmosphere!! We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. I ordered a salmon salad - the menu nor the website specify if the salmon is wild caught or farmed. I would really love to know this information - the price would be much better reflected if it were indeed wild caught. :)

The service was on the slower side and could have used more attention to detail--coffee refills were missed, and we didn't have spoons to stir our coffee. That said, our server was kind and had a gentle, pleasant demeanor. The food overall was very good. Only one person in our group was disappointed--the chicken and waffles were described as dry, with the chicken coating lacking flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and the desserts were a standout; they were excellent and loved by all. One area that could use improvement is the upstairs bathroom. While it was well stocked with supplies, it needed cleaning. Clear signage for the upstairs restroom and perhaps a nice piece of artwork would also be welcome touches. Overall, a nice brunch experience with great desserts and room for a few improvements.

It's a pretty peaceful college bar next to a really nice coffee shop. Presentation - 10/10 Taste & Flavor - 10/10 When getting food here you can get a good variety of spicy and savory especially when it comes to their burgers their drinks are made with much care. Nothing is too overpowering Portion Size - 10/10 I have a very small stomach so things tend to fill me up regardless however my husband is an endless pit and the burger seemed to fill him up for the time being. Value for your money? I would say you get a good value and a full meal for the price you're going to pay You get good service especially on a Sunday when there's only a very few people in there and you're just trying to relax. ‍ Service - 10/10 The service in overall 10 out of 10 The bartender was extremely friendly kept a decent conversation going & greeted us when we entered, most of the staff is college students so you know they're working hard when it comes to both school and being servers. Overall Rating: 10/10 Final Verdict: The Old goat tavern is by far place I would return to especially for a quick bite and something that's going to kill me up for a cheap price. It's good for a night out on the town or just drinks with friends they have a wide variety of drinks and drafts and a good burger. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already they live up to the hype.

My burger has layers of cheese and meat and sauce. Mouth full of goodness. Also my "back forty" burger is only $13. Pretty good deal in 2024. Sides are extra though Sides are not so much, just taste like they are from the freezer and straight into the fryer. Burger is the main character anyway. Drinks are weak, you can probably down a couple mix drinks and still blow below limit. With that being said, this is still a better place to eat and watch a game than BWW.
