There were supposed to bring a 26' truck but came with 20' truck instead, which I knew wouldn't get everything in. The 3 movers were professional and kind but not in the best of shape for climbing 3 flights of stairs. My 9 year old daughter and I aren't the type to sit around and watch so we helped as much as possible, but also stayed out of their way. I'm no stranger to moving. Once we had an SUV full of small items, we left to go empty that load. The movers were trustworthy, I thought. I told them if the truck was full and only some small items were left to leave them and I would go back to get them the next day in my small SUV. Well, that was me first and only mistake. I should have stayed until they were done but didn't so when they arrived and I asked them about what was left, they nonchalantly said some plants, a TV, a few garden tools, and some canvas paintings. I figured that would be easy enough for me to get into my SUV, so I didn't have them go back because that would cost me a lot more money and, especially, because it was approaching rush hour. So, basically, they lied about what was left. I was raging mad when I found all this stuff left the next day. I had to make 2 separate trips, rent a U-haul van, climb 3 flights of stairs on my own and clean my apartment by 5pm Sunday. They also broke the tempered glass on my patio table (gave me $60 discount thankfully), they scraped my dining room table, dragged my $1200 Tempur-Pedic mattress across the floor, didn't wrap my mattresses in plastic like they said they would, and didn't protect my mirrors (luckily none of them broke). They completely took advantage of my generosity. I tipped them well for their service too plus gave them fresh biscuits and jam for their departure. When I contacted the owner, William, about everything, he pretty much called me a liar and did nothing to right their wrong. I guess he doesn't believe in the customer is always right. They damaged goods, damaged the home, lost items. They used another company, JTD Transport to move me since they could not legally. I did not contract with JTD. JTD has committed fraud along side this business. They will not respond to requests for insurance claim, insurance rep contact info, etc. They will go dark on you, ignore texts, emails, voicemails, send calls to VM. If you purchase an insurance policy like I did to the tune of $335 for full replacement coverage you will be conned like I did. You will never hear from them. The California Public Utilities Commission revoked Gold Medal's carrier permit 10/8/19. The Better Business Bureau has issued alerts that Gold Medal does not have a license to operate from the USDOT or CA Public Utilities Commission. USDOT has Gold Medal listed as a household broker who arranges transportation only of household goods by an FMCSA authorized mover. Gold Medal is not licensed to move household goods period. FMCSA has Gold Medal's insurance policy involuntary revoked since 7/16/19. Do your due diligence before you hire this company.

Every year, we have to make 5 to 6 art project kits for everyone of our 1st to 6th grades students. When I approached Eddie at Studio 2 for help, I was so impressed with his helpful and can-do attitude. He gave me advices on how to prepare the papers ahead of time so that it can save us time and money. He was very helpful and attentive to all the details of my job. I have to say Eddie gives fantastic customer services! My papers were cut and packaged perfectly. The job cost and time was reasonable. I knew I will definitely come back for my future printing and paper-cutting needs.

I was impressed by the monument to soldiers who won a key battle and another of a resting soldier with a rife. I was interested by exhibits celebrating some of Vietnam's great singers of the time. There was a stage so I assume that they have events at the museum which would nice to attend. The museum is free and it's well worth a visit. We're glad we came here.

From what I know, a good amount of the relics on display were the museum creator's personal collection, and many more were donated. The docents and owner were incredibly sweet to talk to, and every time you asked a question, the original expanded to ten more. There is a glow to people fully alive in the work that they do-- and it makes you want to return. I love that history isn't reserved to a single lineage. It's a part of the shared human experience that deserves to be celebrated by curiosity, joy, and care.
