My first time trying Wang Cho! Came here with a party of 6. The meat quality was great and the sides were pretty tasty. My favorite meat that we ordered was the beef bulgogi. The waiters/waitresses were constantly changing our grill out and brought everything out in a timely manner. They also didn't forget anything we ordered which was great. Different tiers of meat to choose from - Emperor, King, and Prince. If you're basic with the meats, the Prince will work. We like the King for the extra steak and shrimp. Came here for a late lunch with a few friends. We chose the "middle" menu I believe it was called king but don't quote me. They do not have physical menus they have you scan a QR code to see what each of the 3 menus contain. Each menu kinda levels ups the meat, I wanted short ribs so that's why I chose my menu. However many people you have in your group have to order from the same menu as you so everyone has to come to an agreement, then you can have 1 meat per person on the first order, sides they didn't limit. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't very good After the host seated us, our server was not only rude but kept forgetting our order. We asked for water three separate times before we received it. I also ordered two corns and asked for them twice, but they never arrived . We had a party of 8 and the hostess was able to find two tables together and sat us promptly. The first waitress (I think was Luna) was very friendly and was able to answer all questions we had. My sister isn't a fan of it, my parents only eat Canto and Viet food despite them telling me I'm the one that's apparently too picky, and my friends were busy. Wang Cho allows solo dining which is pretty rare, but also pretty awesome too. Food wise, everything was just average. Meat quality was average. Nothing more, nothing less. This goes for the banchan too. In fact, the whole experience just kind of felt like the bare minimum compared to everywhere else I've been. For $33 (Prince tier) I certainly did not feel like I was getting royal treatment. Jokes aside, it was pretty steep for mediocrity. Service was great so definitely zero complaints in that department. I had to switch tables because my grill was being a pain in the ass and they were nice about it. They were also cool about charging my Cardo (IYKYK) which was awesome because I wanted some tunes for my ride home. Unfortunately this isn't a place I would come back to. I'd rather hunt someone down to go eat KBBQ with so I can go to my usual spots for better quality, atmosphere, and cost. The vibe is young professionals but in a casual and easy drinking crowd. The noise level is medium but everyone sounds happy here. This is my fourth visit to this location. The restaurant is super spacious, which made it really comfortable for our family.
