Food: 4* Service: 4* Ambiance: 4* Like most Admirals club locations, it is a respite from the hustle and bustle of travel. Welcoming, airy and comfortable space invites you to unplug, relax, and breathe. Easily accessible, but when using the AA app to find all locations. The food options are convenient and consistently good. Changed throughout the day so you can get nourishment while you wait your flight. Free house wines, periodicals, and quiet spaces really helps one to unwind and enjoy the travel experience.

Definitely one of my favorite lounges! Staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep everything clean and refilled. They have legit meals. Like build your own udon. Korean bbq with cauliflower rice. Thai curry soups. They have a glass mezzanine area where sometimes you are graced with local talents passing that will stop and play the grand downstairs. Nice.

5-21-2023 - We had about 4 hours to wait for our next flight so this was to be my refuge. $59 day pass (per person) for a broken elevator. Bombarded with questions while still out of breath from climbing the stairs with luggage. Sales push to sign up for the annual pass. Finally got past the entrance and this club is small, with limited food/snack options, alcohol, beer and wine are included (but not top shelf). There is a water and tea station for self serve however no fountain for self serve sodas and no Diet Dr Pepper. Order at the bar. Coke Zero offered but the Diet Coke w/lime was my preference. Single restrooms located by the entrance. The day I visited mac and cheese was the main event with optional toppings of bacon & breadcrumbs. Salad, two soup options, fresh fruit, veggies, pita bread, hummus and some dessert options. Gloves were available to use while serving yourself. The first bartender was not very friendly or approachable but her replacement was the total opposite extremely friendly, happy and helpful. Our used glasses and plates were cleared away quickly. Maybe 3 business center stations. Plenty of comfy chairs and tables for relaxing. The place was empty when we arrived but it did fill up quickly.

This is a smaller and more dated appearing Admirals Clubs. The location is one floor above the gate concourse area near gates 7 and 8. It has numerous glass walls which give a great view outside and to the concourse below, and this helps to give it a more open and airy feeling despite it being fairly small. It has an "L" shape with the bar and seating areas extending along one side and three computer workstation areas (only two have installed computers) in the business center area. This was my first time trying the business center at any Admirals Club locations today, and it actually worked fairly well. You can print from your phone, tablet, or computer fairly easily by forwarding emails and attachments to the printer's email address. Scanning worked OK as well, but you seem to need a USB drive to save the scanned documents onto. Food and beverage offerings are standard Admirals Club fare. I didn't see the fresh guacamole offered at this location. There is also no self-service Coca-Cola freestyle machine, so you have to get soft drinks from the bar. They did have a self-service coffee machine, though. Bathrooms are extremely tiny. The furniture definitely has seen better days. Overall this club feels like it could use a little sprucing up, but it gets the job done.

AA has recently stepped up their game at SNA. The AA admirals club now has much better food selections and service. Previously there was just cookies, coffee and fruit. Now there is the standard AA club buffet. its just downsized to fit this little admirals club. Highly recommend.

It had been quite some time since I had last visited the SNA Admirals club. This is club is small but certainly comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly. The snacks and drinks are slightly above what you would expect at an Admirals Club. Overall, this club is definitely a nice place to work or lounge before your American Airlines or perhaps an Alaska Airlines flight.

This is one of the smaller AA clubs I've seen but it's still very nice. They have plenty of plug outlets near every chair. The place is almost fully windows so it's bright inside. The bar staff was very friendly and came over to refill or replace our drinks without even having to be asked. If you're hungry they have a few snack items that are complimentary (carrots, soup, cheese, olives, cookies) or you can order something for purchase off the menu. Definitely a great spot to get away from the business of the airport.

Got to love lounging in the Admirals lounge. Sips and treats.... it could definitely have better food now.

Ask the Community - Admirals Club

If I am flying from Orange county to Dallas Fort Worth and I purchase a day pass for this lounge, would I be able to use the day pass in Dallas as well? I flight at 8 am and arrive at Dallas at 1 pm.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the OC Admirals Lounge is that great. Very basic and pretty small.

    Are the drinks complimentary?

Yes most are. House. Top shelf extra.

The lines inside are also never too bad. I can count on this airport and it's efficiency. Only downside is that I wish they had more flights or offered better prices. It is always more expensive to fly out of here but it does save you from the headache of LAX. You have to weigh your options and priorities. I am willing to pay a little more out of here at times. I prefer this airport but it will come down to the price and how much more it is. They don't fly out too late due to the houses around. SYOY!

I was staying in…read moreNewport Beach for a few days and it was only natural to try and find a flight that landed here. The location of SNA is ideal if you're staying in the OC - the only other options in the area are SAN and LAX which are both over an hour drive away in either direction. The airport isn't large, but large enough to have several routes passing through it. The aesthetics are fine - not the most modern airport I've been to, and they seem to have a good amount of shops and eateries relative to their size. The rental car counters are super close to the terminal - I can't remember the last time I walked to one from baggage claim. My only real issue with SNA is that because of its size, you will likely be limited in routes. Flying from JFK to SNA was fine, but coming home my only options were connecting flights or a red eye. Neither were ideal, so I planned my itinerary accordingly to fly out of another airport. Overall, SNA is good for what it is, and a great option if you're visiting the Orange County area.

The ambiance was so cool with lots of Asian inspired decorations, total eye candy. The line for the drinks was a little long but went pretty fast and we were lucky to score 2 seats inside almost immediately. If you have some time while browsing The Lab during the day, I recommend stopping by for a drink! It's also nice to include in your barhopping itinerary in the evening since there are a number of breweries around too. I've had mixed experiences with the bartenders. Luckily, the gentleman manning the bar during my most recent visit was very friendly. Drinks are always great. I've tried a variety of drinks from the menu here, but my favorites are: -Love in Drunk, a lovely cocktail with cucumber and grapefruit flavors that create a fresh watermelon taste when mixed together -Bee's Knees, short but strong and sweet -London Mule, very herbal thanks to the gin and very refreshing
