I ordered the popcorn chicken..It was basically tiny nuggets, it was dry, and no flavor. this is not a real popcorn chicken. Don't even bother ordering it. At the bottom of my daughter's passionfruit tea was a broken piece of plastic. I was drinking from the cup so it ended up in my mouth and I spit it out. Here we go to honor my very own people, and Asian Pacific Islander month. Here is one of my absolute favvvvvv Asian drinks aside from Mango Lassi's. BOBA! Kristina continues to house hunt here in this neighborhood so I joined her all the way from Venice Beach. And afterwards, we wandered the local shopping and restaurants areas. We found this cozy, new and everything ya need rustic plaza, it sits near Angeles Crest. I stretched out under an oak tree and joined Kristina. We were feeling like a dessert. But it's summer and we wanted lower calorie liquid dessert and I always have a strong bend for my Asian-familiar ness of course. So we wandered into Boba Boba. My go-to is always a Iced Jasmine Milk Tea. Kristina ordered the Brown Sugar Boba, she inhaled hers as well. Yummy. The super cool part of this Boba Boba location is they adjust for non-diary and sugar. We opted for 25% sugar and non-diary. What a delight! I've never seen adjustments to sugar for boba anywhere. A genius idea, such a welcome and healthy option. The cups are long and slender and the drink was absolutely both light, and dense as jasmine tea is acclaimed for. Such a memorable experience, thanks guys. Truly the BEST boba I've ever experienced. I'd love to return and try additional boba flavors on my way to a hike at Angeles Crest someday soon. Boba Boba is a great convenient option for those in the area! Located in the Town Center, theres usually plenty of parking (except when its quite busy at peak hours). The entrance is not super obvious from the parking lot, you'll have to walk through a seating area on the side of the building and enter closer to Foothill. Most drinks are a solid here, except the blended. For me the blended drinks taste like syrupy ice. When it melts down a little its just sugar water. The house milk tea is good, not a very strong tea flavor but with the boba it does hit the spot. Boba is cooked well and has a good bouncy chew without being too soft or too hard. Fruit teas are also okay, definitely taste like they're from syrups but on a hot day they're super refreshing. I also do like the variety of desserts you can try here, although I have yet to. Overall, this place is a good option if you'd like a quick boba fix, but I would not choose to come here over other boba chains. read more

Pretty good boba if you are in the area! I went to Descano Gardens and wanted to have a cool drink to cool off. I Yelped a few places and this place came up and it was about 10 minutes away from me. Awesome! Boba Boba is located inside the Town Square. They have a Target, Home Goods, a several other restaurants. There is also plenty of parking around. It is sort of hard to find. I had initially thought they were closed, but their entrance is in a little alleyway. If you get lost, I would suggest calling them and they can direct you to the right place. As for the bobas, they have all the standard fare. They have slushies, milk tea, and regular teas. I opted for a regular black tea with boba and lychee jelly. The drinks came out pretty fast. There is outdoor seating so I sat out there to enjoy my drink. The tea was slightly watery (maybe a little overbrewed), but the boba was excellent. Perfectly cooked and chewy. I will definitely come back here if I am in the area. Every single time, I've come here, without fail, the drinks are incredibly watered down. The first time I came here with a friend and both of our drinks were about 60% ice. I later decided to give them another shot because maybe they were just having a bad day the first time. Nope, same deal. This was my third visit because apparently I dont learn, and I love to be disappointed. They used way too much ice when making my smoothie, so any flavor was lost behind what might actually be a small lake's worth of water. My smoothie had the same consistency as the diet coke I drank the other day. Every single time a friend of mine tries this place, they're always disappointed. The worst part is that the drinks would actually be good if they weren't so watered down. So much potential is being lost. I really wanted to like them because the location is so convenient, but I guess this is what happens when there's basically no competition in the immediate area. The popcorn chicken is okay. Just average. Nothing to complain about or praise. If you're in the LC area and you want good drinks (and food), just suck it up and drive 15 minutes to Twinkle Tea in Pasadena. It was my first time here and I think I speak for the whole city of La Canada when I say that we're super excited for another boba store. My experience was great! The store is a clean and organized environment (albeit a bit hard to find because the previous shops sign was still up) with great boba. The interior decor is simplistic and well lit. I ordered the Thai tea and it was so amazing. The staff is not at all stingy with the boba, which is sweet and flavorful. The tea is sweet but not sickly sweet, and is one of the best Thai teas I've had, with no weird powder at the bottom and a smooth vanilla-y tea flavor. Came here after Descanso Gardens upon Yelp's recommendation I love strawberry matcha drinks, so this was a no brainer for me. Unfortunately the drink just wasn't that great. The matcha flavor was barely there and seemed pretty watered down. The strawberry wasn't fresh but tasted like a syrup. It was kinda like drinking a green cup of water with a hint of strawberry. Our friends got their ice cream - chocolate chip and cookies and cream. The chocolate chip had a weird powdery aftertaste to it that was extremely off-putting. While there is a HUGE Asian population in the La Crescenta/ La Cañada area, there are very few Asian dining and dessert options, so I was glad to see that a new boba shop with a name that I'm familiar with opened up in this area. Excited about the fact that we didn't have to drive 30 minutes to Ktown for good boba and tea, my girlfriend and I got the jasmine green milk tea with dragon boba and the dragon strawberry blend with honey boba. The boba was very flavorful and soft (10/10), but the drinks were average at best. The boba here is definitely better than what other boba shops in the area offer, but we couldn't help but be a little disappointed. This is the best boba my boys have ever had! Great meet-up spot for the cousins to hang out and chill outside and chat with a tasty treat. I loved the brown sugar boba - their signature drink - with the honey boba. Kids enjoyed the oreo and fruit blended bobas while the ube milk tea was perfect (not too sweet) for my sister in law. They even had adorable animal macaroons that my picky teen said "are very tasty". My husband and I have been to Boba Boba several times. We like this place because it's close by but we always felt like this place is inconsistent. We've noticed that they don't fill the cups to the top which we understand could be because of sealing the cups. This time, we got two house milk teas: one with boba and one without. This boba store is right next to the outdoor patio space of Luna Grill, and I pick up drinks and taiyaki when I pick up from Luna Grill. The store space is small, but cheery, bright and modern, and they sell store merch, cute boba plushies and kpop items as well. They play kpop regularly. Taiyaki is hot and fresh and the drinks have been packaged cutely and quickly. Wait times have always been short and service is friendly. I typically pick up non-caffeinated and non-dairy drinks due to food sensitivities of those whom I order for, and so I've ordered Coreana Horchata 50% sweetness level the most although I've tried other flavors. If you can have dairy but don't want the caffeine, strawberry twist and taro milk tea are good options. So, beyond the usual black tea options, there can be something for everyone, especially on a hot day (some of the blended smoothies look like they don't have dairy or caffeine as well). Beyond the boba drinks, there is a cafe subsection that has hot and iced drinks served like cafe drinks, rather than sealed up in boba cups. The iced Ube latte I got shows the cafe drink to go cup. I haven't explored that much in the snacks but I have tried the crepe cakes, which are creamy, and I recommend the Ube flavor especially. read more

I've been to this shop almost daily since I realized it was open lol. It's nice and clean and has an L-shape layout. The only thing is that if it gets crowded, it makes it tricky getting your drinks while waiting. I would recommend to the owners to have patrons wait outside for their drinks while we're still in these pandemic times. Now onto the drinks. I've only tried two flavors b/c at my age I'm less keen to explore lol. The ube is okay. It's not that sweet and has a bit of a tea flavor to me. The way they make it tastes the best out of many boba shops I've been to in the last 5 years. They also have a pretty cool machine that shakes the non-blended drinks.
