I was excited to try this place for the first time today. I ordered the Misutgaru Latte, but I had to leave right away and didn't take my first sip until I was in my car. Unfortunately, it tasted like the powder was old or stale. I was genuinely worried about getting sick, and the taste was so bad that I couldn't keep drinking it. I ended up throwing away the entire $7.50 drink. They should check the freshness of their misutgaru powder, because something definitely seemed off. It was a very disappointing first experience. I was in the area and looking for a cool beverage on a hot day. I saw Ohoo as I was driving by and decided to make a quick stop. Ohoo is located in a strip mall so there was plenty of parking around (added bonus: I was able to return an Amazon item at the UPS next door that has been sitting in my car). There was not a lot of people in the store the day I went so I ordered and waited. There were plenty of seating around. I will say that it did take a quite awhile for the drink to come out so a relatively quiet day, but no issues with me because I enjoyed sitting in a cool place for a little bit. I decided to try the strawberry passion fruit tea with lychee jelly. I was disappointed in the drink because they advertised that they use real fruit puree, but it was way too sweet even though I adjusted my sweetness. I think there was too much syrup, which overpowered the drink. I could barely taste the fruit itself. That being said, I am giving Ohio 4 stars because their tea itself was good, not overbrewed at all. I tasted another drink, just a plain green tea and I realized that I should have just gotten that one. I have mixed feelings about Ohoo but might be back if I am in the area. But, most likely I will be just getting a plain drink. read more

Cute little boba shop that's conveniently located in our neighborhood with plenty of parking. We've been here a handful number of times now and enjoyed our visit. I must say, the Oreo shake is probably one of my favorite ones on the menu. If you're an Oreo fan, give this one a try. The Chocolatte was underwhelming and the taro tornado was also ok. My son, who is a big taro fan, didn't like it at all. It's very friendly, clean and welcoming. It's a nice hang out spot for a good 15mins or so but I wouldn't stay here for too long as there is limited seating and it's just not one of those places where you get work done. I didn't catch his name, but excellent service, help, and professionalism from the gentleman who was working this afternoon (Saturday, 08-09-25). We've been to Ohoo a few times and the employees have always been okay, about average for a tea shop. But not today - today was, by far, the best experience EVER with a tea shop associate. As a student from Rosemont, I walk down to ohoo and normally order boba drinks like the mango slush or matcha frap and they're very good! I also order sweet goods like their cookies and tayaki. The workers service is incredibly amazing, they have a lot of patience, espically because they have to deal with tons of students coming in and yelling, messing up their chairs, leaving trash on the floor, knocking tables, cleaning up others messses, etc. and they should be recognized for their hard work. The location is not in the heart of a busy area so it's convenient and stress free for me. They updated their menu I believe but now they have a crimson berry tea base which was really delicious. The mojitos still remain my gotos and they are yummy. Great balance between sweet and refreshing. Not a big fan of milk tea so I didn't bother trying it. The taiyaki deal is decent. $2 deal when you get a drink, it's tasty but it is small. Wish there was a custard flavour too m, but maybe that's in the works. I've seen different staff almost every day I've been but they all treated me courteously and attentively. My drinks come out pretty fast and are consistent. A The pricing is pretty competitive, but they don't really have much competition out in la crescenta to be honest. First thought of getting boba there would be this place. One of the best bubble tea places I've ever been to. The drinks are always delicious, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. The shop itself is clean, cozy, and nicely designed. Misut Latte (3.5/5) A very very unique drink - 1st of its kind here in the LA area. At least I haven't seen this drink anywhere else. It's a blend of their house-crafted cooked/roasted sweet rice flour, barley flour, white rice flour and sweetened with brown sugar, topped off with oat milk foam. It's definitely a very grainy-rice drink with a blend of banana flavored smoothie. It's thick in texture. More of a smoothie than latte in my opinion. It is an acquired taste for sure, but worth a try. I really like the concept, but it's not for me because it is too sweet in my opinion, despite opting out of the brown sugar that they typically would've added. The sweetness from the brown sugar boba alone was plenty for me. 2. Taro Organic Assam Milk Tea (4.5/5) They use REAL taro, which is a HUGE PLUS as it makes it authentic and delicious. The assam tea was strong and fragrant. Mixed with the sweet taro chunks and creamy milk, you have a delightful mood enhancer drink. Another PLUS is that they do not use creamer powder, which is super unhealthy. They give you the option to use whole milk, lactose-free milk, oat milk or half & half. Minus 0.5 stars only because the taro was a bit too sweet. But that's just because I am not a sweet tooth. 3. Mojito Cafe Latte (5/5) FINALLY a boba-coffee shop in the area that sells mojito coffee. The espresso was strong and the blend of fresh mint, zesty lime and the creaminess of the milk foam was quite blissful. I can drink this everyday, all day long. Highly recommend! Can't wait to return to try their other drinks and baked goods. They sell croissant, scones, monkey bread, cookies, and teriyaki (with your choice of nutella, cheese, red bean, pizza, brown sugar cinnamon) and bagel. read more

They always have so many delicious options (love their takoyaki) and the staff is always incredibly friendly. My favorite was the misut latte - its roasted, nutty flavor paired well with the sweet, chewy boba. It wasn't overly sweet and was exactly what I was craving for. The tornado drinks were what caught my eye, so my husband and I both tried to Thai tea tornados with boba and one of the chocolate pecan cookies by the register. The cookie was perfect. Chewing but crisp on the outside and not overly sweet. The tornados were tasty, though didn't taste much different than a regular Thai tea boba. I was hoping for a little more thickness or flavor but it was still good. Boba was also excellent. Great texture and sweetness. Be warned, if you come here when school gets out, you'll be in a long line of teens and preteens, but it moved relatively quickly. read more
