We arrived around 4:00 PM and stayed until about 5:00 PM. During that time, the floor had not been swept and the tables weren't wiped down. Their croissants are wonderful and flaky. You can see it all over the floor. I noticed at least three employees working, and while I understand Sundays can be busy, there was some downtime where a quick clean‑up could have gone a long way. Parking is street parking, but the easiest option is actually behind the building. It's a short and easy walk. All in all, this is a solid alternative to the big chain coffee shops across the street. Paris Baguette has been one of my favorite bakery chains for a good while now, to see they've opened one nearby is exciting (and dangerous for my wallet)! Opening day! How exciting! We've been waiting for PB to open for AGES! Glad it's finally open and we can enjoy some coffee and pastries! On a general note, I'm a fan of the breads here and always love grabbing PB cakes for special occasions. This place has pretty standard and consistent pastries and cakes so you know what you're getting. Since it's opening day, there were some hiccups but I have to say overall, the space was clean, the staff was nice and earnest, and the tea and cake were good. Parking is easy since there's plenty of metered street parking and a ton of free parking in the lot behind the bakery. We hadn't been in a Paris Baguette in quite some time, so it was nice to come across this newer location. We were looking for a special treat for an elderly family member. The inside of the location is quite difficult to navigate when it is full, and it was very loud. The prices of some items were fair, but others were quite high for what they were (i.e., $6 for a croissant). It was rather disappointing to see that with so many offerings, there was not a single thing for someone with gluten sensitivity. We did find something to get for our family member, and took it to the front counter. The young lady assisting us was not at all welcoming. Once we stated that we only wanted the one thing, and yes, boxed to go, she was very dismissive. Side note - Not sure how they managed it because of the current fire codes, but the one door is not fire safe, as it opens in, not out. read more

I have ordered birthday cakes from several Paris Baguette locations before and have never had an issue--usually providing my name and phone number is enough to find the order. At this location, however, I was first asked for a receipt, even though I was never told to bring one. The staff was able to find my order in the system using my name, but I was still asked to search for the receipt online. In the end, they gave me a cake from the display shelf. The decoration looked different from the cake I had originally ordered, but I accepted it because I needed to get to the birthday venue on time. Disappointed with the customer service and management. I was in line and ordered the last cake available before the person behind me. About 15-20 minutes later, they tried to give my cake to someone else. I had to step in and say something, and while I did end up getting my cake, the way it was handled was not okay. Instead of catching the mistake themselves or taking responsibility, I was basically told "too bad." I cannot confirm but rumor has it that Paris Baguette was started by somebody who came from the Korean bakery 85°. The set up is exactly like 85° and the selection of baked goods is strikingly similar to 85° so all in all the bake is good. Given that this is the new location it's not surprising that the service is still not quite up to par. The waits are long, the line slightly disorganized but other than that it's a nice addition to the neighborhood and I'll be back. read more

Paris Baguette in Montrose has become one of my favorite stops. The moment you walk in, it smells like fresh pastries coming out of the oven. The staff is friendly, patient, and always helpful with recommendations. Everything I've tried--from the croissants to the fruit pastries to the cakes--has been fresh and delicious. The shop is clean, bright, and a great place to grab a coffee or sit for a few minutes. Definitely one of the best bakery cafés in the area. I had a really disappointing experience at this Paris Baguette today. I stopped in before work and ordered three pastries, including a ham and cheese croissant. The employee offered to heat it up, which I appreciated, and I stepped aside to wait. 10 minutes go by, I'm still in their line of view. No one checks in with me, but it's fine I wait a little longer... After about 20 minutes, I started to smell something burning. I went up to the counter to ask about my croissant, and sure enough, it had been forgotten about and completely burned. Mistakes happen, I've worked at many restaurants so I am pretty understanding that things can slip your mind. I really wouldn't have minded if the girl who took my order (I believe her name started with a D, Desiree or something like that) had been apologetic or shown some care. Instead, her response was pretty dismissive. When her coworker asked her if she was the one who forgot the croissant she just shrugged and said, "probably." That lack of accountability and attitude was honestly more frustrating than the mistake itself. I wish I got her name but the other girl who works there did remake the croissant, and she nicely walked over to us to hand the pastry to us which was very nice and great customer service. read more

I like the savory pastries ( the cheddar twist was seasonal ) but ham and cheese croissant and the hash brown one are delicious. The baguette sandwiches are fantastic and this place is open early enough to pick one up before work. Today I had the pomme pastry. ! I saw some of the other reviewers had trouble with a staff member but I think they had to change some personnel. Melika and Jewel are great! I was only there a couple of times and they remembered me; this is a new and ambitious bakery and although it's only been open a few weeks it's already a warm and friendly part of the community. Picked up a few pastries and a matcha latte. There was no seating so we left. The cap of my latte did not fit properly and consequently both my daughter and I had matcha all over our shirts. I didn't notice it at first but she was wearing a white shirt so it was very obvious. Please get better caps. I also encourage you to teach your employees Korean hospitality. I love this place so much! I came back twice on the same day once. I love their salads, their lattes and mocha's, and I love their pastries, of course. However, today was extra special because they were out of the Chocolate Dubai doughnuts, since they're so popular, and I asked somebody who I thought was just working there (but it was the owner), if they ever make second rounds of donuts once they sell out. To my surprise, she asked me how many I wanted, and said that she would go in the back and make some from scratch for us. I was blown away by that kind of customer service, and it felt much more like a small bakery from another era, when she did that for us. Even the donut shops I know of in town that strictly make donuts have never offered to go in the back to them from scratch, if they were sold out. read more

Very very little cream in the king cream donuts! We ordered a king cream and a football king cream and they both had only 1/3 of the donut with cream in them. However I must say they were very very fresh so for that I gave them two stars. If they filled the donuts all the way with cream then they'd be 5 star. read more

I love their various options and the place is so pleasing to the eyes, but as I'm grabbing some pastries I see a lot of fruit flies TRAPPED in the food displays we are supposed to take the pastries from, making it less appetizing to eat there and for me to come back. This has to be the slowest Paris Baguette location I've been to. The pastries, coffee, and staff are all great -- but the service speed is a real issue. It wasn't busy at all, yet I waited about 20 minutes in line and then another 10 minutes just to be checked out. I ordered four non-toasted pastries, and somehow it still took forever to box them up. On top of that, the box wasn't even closed or placed in a bag, so I ended up doing that myself. One of the card tap machines wasn't working, and when it failed, the employee looked at me like I was supposed to know how to fix it. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and helped me at a different register. That said, I really do like the overall vibe of this place. Just a heads-up: a lot of people sit and study here for long stretches, so finding a table can be difficult. Great products and atmosphere -- just be prepared to wait much longer than expected. read more

Like many reviews state, there are two main issues with this place that will prevent me from ever returning: the cleanliness and the customer service. It's just not sanitary, the tongs are always touching countertops, crumbs everywhere, and there seems to be a lack of care from staff! That's the other issue, as other reviewers have mentioned, I don't want my coffee or pastry to come with attitude. Starbucks across the street somehow manages to hire friendly, professional, and accommodating employees. I love this location. i'm excited that it's opened up by us! love the options they have and the coffee is surprisingly strong and delicious. i've had iced vanilla lattes, i wouldn't recommend their Korean iced coffee. it was super watered down bland flavor. Their customer service could use a bit of spicing up! most of the employees seem unhappy to be there. Very little eye contact. I stopped by early this morning and Sarah took my order. I ordered a couple of to-go items, including a crab meat croquette, a mango smoothie, and a hazelnut latte. When my coffee was called, I noticed it appeared to be black coffee. I politely mentioned to Sarah that I had ordered a hazelnut latte. She responded that it was a latte from afar, but it did not appear that way. I was hoping the order would simply be checked and corrected, but instead the interaction felt dismissive, and I was left a bit surprised and uncomfortable. Thankfully, another team member, who has helped me in the past and has always been very kind and attentive, stepped in right away. She apologized sincerely and prepared the hazelnut latte for me. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to make it right. I genuinely enjoy this place and would like to continue supporting the business. However, I do believe management may want to take a closer look at the service experience, as this seems to be a recurring concern mentioned in other reviews. For a new business, consistent and welcoming customer service makes such a difference. I was looking forward for this location to open for months. I finally went in today 1/2/26 around 11. The place wasn't crowded. I approached two young girls behind the counter chit chatting (not work related). I waited a few moments then politely said excuse me. I was ignored by both. I said excuse me again and the one with glasses said "please wait" as they finished their conversation. They should consider training the workers in customer service. I go to many PB across CA and the US and this is the only one that blast their AC to the point that I walked in on a gloomy/ cold day last month, expecting the usual cozy/sweet feeling of any other PB I have been to, and the place was colder than outside!
