They're not rude per say, but they could try harder to greet customers and connect at the register. I've worked at Starbucks for 8 years, having genuine conversations with customers and turning them into regulars is the best part of the job! Work is as fun as you make it. I try to chat with the girls and they respond kindly but you can feel they'd rather not participate in conversation lol. I did sit one time and watched them work through a rush and they crushed it!
