I love their crystal boba here. It's got the right amount of chewy. The variety of sweet and savory treats the offer is quite the spread. So far, I've tried the BBQ pork steamed buns, shumai, and the waffle. All have been the perfect pairing to the drinks. Ample seating & great wifi. They also have a few claw machines in the back. Very cute setup for a boba shop, feels more like part of an arcade than just a boba shop. The girl at the front was informative and gave her thoughts on whats worth highlighting. Super adorable boba shop that offers so many things, from a variety of drinks to trendy merch to some claw machines. I imagine Boba Cucue will soon be popular for kiddos, foodie influencers, and chill hangouts. The girl who helped us was very patient while explaining the menu, available adjustments and substitutions, and current promos. There is definitely something for everyone, but they currently only have one coffee drink, the Malaysian White Mocha, which is a must-try if you like a sweet and creamy caffeine kick. The coffee jelly it came with was good, too. We also got Coco-Mango Bubble with crystal boba (nice tropical combo), White Peach Oolong Smash Tea (light and refreshing), Fire Cream Brulee Milk Tea with brown sugar boba (meh, won't get again), and Rose Milk Tea (strong rose flavor even at less sugar). Pretty much everything was tasty, except for the Fire Cream Brulee Milk Tea since it had a heavy flavor that we didn't really like in black milk teas. I'd love to try the Chocolate Panda Frappe and the other Smashed Fruit Teas next time. Prices seemed comparable to other boba shops, and they probs includes the cost of the cute cups and caps. It's currently their soft opening and we've already been a couple times. Friendly service and good variety of drinks, including tea-based or not. You can customize the amount of sugar/sweetness. This is the cutest boba shop I've ever been to. There's a huge selection of plushies, toys, stickers, etc. and several claw machines in the back -- perfect for entertaining kids. There's so many cute decorations all over as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is hands down the most kawaii boba shop I've ever visited. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the cutest decor and interior details. I brought my daughter and even before we looked at the menu, she was already amazed by the adorable plushies and toys that were available for purchase. The menu itself is so creative and stands out from typical boba shops. Every drink is fun, unique and beautifully presented. We ended up ordering the Galaxy Rainbow Soda with Crystal boba. It was so refreshing and the color of the drink was so pretty!!! We also ordered the Waffle Pop which was made to order. It was warm, soft and paired perfectly with the drink. Service was excellent. So far we have tried the OG boba milk tea, HK lemon tea, watermelon smash and galaxy rainbow soda drink. You can adjust the amount of ice, sugar and choice of boba or Star crystals. Did I mention the tea is legit. Imported and certified from Taiwan. Nice simple rewards program for free. Every drink purchase as of writing this gets a free token for the claw machine. Boba Cucue is truly a one of a kind place recently opened in Lake Forest. I found my Royal Milk Tea with mini crystal boba to be refreshing and delicious. I also love the crunchy and chewy Waffle Pop (original has Mochi-like chew while the Oreo provided the crunch). The staff were friendly and approachable with suggestions and explanations. Don't be fooled by the super cute and adorable aesthetic of the store; you'd expect the drinks to be super sugary sweet, but of the drinks I've tried, I give them the highest Asian compliment: Not too sweet! I've tried both the watermelon smash green tea and the lychee smash green tea. They smash the fruits fresh for your drink. I first tried it at 50% expecting the drinks to be very sweet, and was surprised at how they weren't! I think 75% sweetness is probably the perfect balance for me. Best yet, if you aren't satisfied with your drink and you want any adjustments, the workers are happy to remake your drink and will remind you as they hand it over. I was perfectly satisfied though! I didn't want any boba in my drink and the owner replaced it with lychee jelly free of charge! The waffle pops are delicious. That perfect little snack when you're craving an egg waffle but you don't want to eat an entire big one. They're made fresh to order, so they'll take 5 or 10 minutes, but it's worth it!! Found this place on Yelp, and how could I resist the kitty dome tops?! I had to try this place out! AMBIANCE: This store has a unique, cute, and playful aesthetic that feels straight out of a cartoon. With neon lights all around the store, some cute display characters that resemble a certain famous Kitty, except this one has eyes that stare deep into your soul; it's quite the "eye"-catching centerpiece. Everything is pink and blue, one of my favorite color combinations, and they even have display shelves selling cute stickers and trinkets. I ended up getting a chunky pen! COCO PEACH BUBBLE: This one is sweet and peachy. Peach-flavored things can sometimes be gritty, but this one is quite smooth with no random chunks despite having white peach jam. The colors are pretty, and it comes with chewy agar/jelly-type boba. It's fruity, refreshing, and great for a hot summer day! If you don't like it sweet, I'd try asking for less sweetness. ROSE MILK TEA: This one also comes with agar sakura boba and cold foam. I opted for the soy milk dairy-free option. When I got home, I noticed the foam had disappeared before I could try it, so I can't comment on that in this review. I would probably not do the foam next time and opt for just more milk tea in the cup next time! This one has a stronger tea flavor and floral aftertaste. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it more than the peach one, but it grew on me! For me, it's the perfect sweetness (I have a sweet tooth, though fyi). SERVICE: The worker there greeted me as soon as I came in and was very attentive. Really nothing to complain about here! OVERALL: It's a cute boba shop, I'd definitely stop by again to try something different. The price is not as bad as other places and I got a 10% discount, not sure if they have some sale going on at the moment. And I cannot get over the cute cup design. I drink milk tea several times a week and was excited to find this place close ish to my work. The first time i visited, i left happy with the mango tea. Ihate to go against the grain here, but my drink today was awful. Right as I was leaving, the guy did tell me to let them know if I need adjustments, but I took a quick sip and was satisfied with the flavor. Little did I know that by the time I walked to my car, that sip was the ONLY flavor in my drink. I paid $8 (added a small tip) for one taro milk tea and felt like I literally paid to drink milk with ice. There was zero flavor in it. I am sitting here and feeling so disappointed. I got the white peach smash oolong tea. One thing to note that the price includes the boba in the drink. If you do not want boba, the drink does not change in price.
