If you don't have the time to wait around then order online in advance. It's easy peasy and sign up for their rewards program! Just note -- desserts & dim sum can only be ordered in-store, regardless it's totally worth stopping by. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, which makes the whole visit even better. The place itself is pretty cute -- seriously IG-worthy. The claw machines in the back is a nice addition. I tried the waffle pop and it was surprisingly good - made fresh to order. Drinks are made to order too, and they've got tons of creative flavors you don't see everywhere.

Highly recommend the Triple Ube Float and Taro Milk Tea -- both are delish and picture-perfect. Even the drink cups are adorably cute. Already planning my next visit to try more!

Hidden Gem in Lake Forest! From the outside, the shop looks small, but inside it's actually very spacious. I've never seen a boba brand pay this much attention to detail with their interior decoration. Everything was so cute--even the chairs, haha. The owner mentioned this is their first location in California, originally from Arizona. Drinks: They have a lot of options, and I believe they're still updating their menu. The tea was good (not the best for me, but definitely decent), and you can adjust the sweetness.

My order was the Rose Milk Tea. Service: Fast and friendly. They even have claw machines, and on promotion days, if your purchase is over a certain amount, they'll give you tokens to play.

This place is a great location to wind down, lounge, have some good snacks and of course drinks. We don't live far but wanted to find a place to chill out and escape the rain. The vibes here are 10/10 and we love the little things like the various blind boxes they sell and claw machines. Their service here is great too. The staff is friendly and quick to help. Great little tea/drink spot here in Lake Forest!

We ordered pick up and it was ready soon after we got there. Workers are very nice, and the inside is much bigger than expected. Lots of snacks, and toys for sale, including a couple claw machines. They have hot food for sale, too. The drinks we got were really tasty. Lots of Mango flavor in the Mango Coco Float!

Very cute setup for a boba shop, feels more like part of an arcade than just a boba shop. The girl at the front was informative and gave her thoughts on whats worth highlighting. I ended up getting the melon milk bubble drink, wasn't too sweet and had a nice hit of melon flavor. While waiting for the order, there's a a couple claw machines in the back to mess with. They even give you a coin with the drink purchase just to try it out.

Super adorable boba shop that offers so many things, from a variety of drinks to trendy merch to some claw machines. I imagine Boba Cucue will soon be popular for kiddos, foodie influencers, and chill hangouts. The girl who helped us was very patient while explaining the menu, available adjustments and substitutions, and current promos. There is definitely something for everyone, but they currently only have one coffee drink, the Malaysian White Mocha, which is a must-try if you like a sweet and creamy caffeine kick. The coffee jelly it came with was good, too. We also got Coco-Mango Bubble with crystal boba (nice tropical combo), White Peach Oolong Smash Tea (light and refreshing), Fire Cream Brulee Milk Tea with brown sugar boba (meh, won't get again), and Rose Milk Tea (strong rose flavor even at less sugar). Pretty much everything was tasty, except for the Fire Cream Brulee Milk Tea since it had a heavy flavor that we didn't really like in black milk teas. I'd love to try the Chocolate Panda Frappe and the other Smashed Fruit Teas next time. Prices seemed comparable to other boba shops, and they probs includes the cost of the cute cups and caps. Parking is free and aplenty in the plaza lot.

We're getting a Triple Berry Ube Float ! Wow, this place is too cute! Can't wait to take my daughters here. I can't wait to try my float right now! Great photo opportunity, everybody was super nice there. Very refreshing on this warm summer day, it tasted fresh and smooth, kind of milky. If you're in the area, this is a nice place to stop by, just to even check out for a photo opportunity!

It's currently their soft opening and we've already been a couple times. Friendly service and good variety of drinks, including tea-based or not. You can customize the amount of sugar/sweetness. The Fruit Tea Madness is really refreshing. The Strawberry Smash Green Tea and Strawberry Milk Bubble are good too. Seems like they'll eventually have ice cream and other non-boba snacks.

On a hot day ! Dragonfruit pineapple green tea ! It was delicious and refreshing . Been here a few times and it's my new boba go to spot . Boba is soft and chewy also the peach tea and peach milk tea is also very good . Staff and owner are very nice and always care if you really enjoy your drink . They close at 8 pm thru the week and 9 pm on the weekends! Reminder to self because I have walked thru many times after-hours. Its VERY bright inside. Stuffed animals, cute pop art decor, they are having a KPDH pop up weekend of October 10 featuring one of the singing voice artist. Very friendly service and was able to direct me well to non caffeine drinks. Their menu is large. I had the coco peach. It was very tasty and not super sweet, which i enjoyed. It came in a very cute cup design as well. I look forward to trying their other drinks!

This is the cutest boba shop I've ever been to. There's a huge selection of plushies, toys, stickers, etc. and several claw machines in the back -- perfect for entertaining kids. There's so many cute decorations all over as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were ok, the taro milk tea I ordered could've used a bit more sugar, but the boba itself was good! I need to go back and order something else to really solidify my rating. this place is soooo cute! they offer a good range of boba (and a surprisingly large amout of food items which were definitely tempting) for market prices. the staff are super friendly-- apparently they opened a few months ago in June?-- and it was fun to visit this new spot! what's unique about this shop is the amount of /stuff/ they sell. not just food items: stuff. blind boxes, little collectibles, and several claw machines in the back. very unique! there's ample seating and the drinks are pretty good! definitely recommend the lower sweetness option, but it's a cute spot.

I was thrilled to hear that Boba Cucue opened a location in Lake Forest! I first discovered this place during a family vacation in Las Vegas and was immediately impressed. I'm so happy to see that they've maintained the same high quality drinks and wide variety of choices. The shop itself is absolutely adorable--every detail is thoughtfully designed and beautifully themed. Stopped by today and tried their #1 brown sugar drink and the strawberry smash green tea -- both were so good! The flavors were fresh, not too sweet, and super refreshing. Went here with my wife and the place is too cute. It has great atmosphere, the chairs are like gaming chairs, and there are claw machines with unique plushies I don't usually see everywhere. The customer service here was also exceptional they were very helpful and friendly. I did think the drinks look like they'll be too sweet, but I was surprised that it was a perfect balance, at least for me. The shumai was also really good here and unexpected at a boba place, but we're super happy to have stumbled into here. We'll be back with some friends next time!! read more

Wish I could put zero stars. Had ingredient questions and the manager was not well versed in his own product,different types of boba, was very rude and lacked empathy. We drink boba a lot and are more aware of how it is made. This place is gimmicky rather than true to authentic boba drinks. Anyone avoiding animal products should avoid this place. Simply because the manager does not care to take the time to know what ingredients are being sold. Came in a group of 4 and each of us were appalled by the treatment. Share tea, Ding tea,krakboba, Bobabee, 7 leaves, literally any other place except this spot are better options with better customer service and cleaner ingredients. read more

This place is such a gem! The boba is so good perfect sweetness and the tapioca pearls were soft and chewy, just how I like them. The shop itself has a really cute, chill vibe definitely somewhere I could hang out for a while. But what really makes this spot stand out are the owners. Fruit Tea Madness has 9 fresh seasonal fruits, I ordered regular (100%) sweetness, and it's perfectly balanced. Boba is fresh and chewy. Many more unique drinks on the menu with energy boost and customized soda that goes beyond any regular boba shop. Absolutely loved visiting this cute boba spot! We got three drinks with recommendations from the two super helpful, courteous attendants there. Two different varieties of the galaxy soda drinks and one white peach tea; and I'm usually not much of a soda person, but those drinks were definitely the standouts. Drinks are made too sweet, overpriced for everything even the "arcade" area won't even let you win a stuff toy level set to hard. -- everything they have here including the boba store bought it doesn't make sense you could do this drink at home and buy all the ingredients that you could literally do at home. Nothing about this place is "special" everything is highly processed and high fructose sugar you can taste it on the boba. Never going back here. read more

Was in the mood to try a new boba place, and this one popped up online. So glad I went! The interior is so bright and adorable, with kawaii merchandise to purchase, claw machines and of course, drinks and food! I got two milk teas, mint chocolate frappe and a chocolate waffle pop - all great tasting! The staff is wonderfully friendly, helping to explain certain drinks and food, and if your drink needs any adjustment (more sugar, more cream, etc) just ask! Ordered Watermelon Coco Float and and a Strawberry Creme X. Boba design very cute. The taste of watermelon very refreshing and not overly sweet. The strawberry drink was very creamy and had real strawberry flavor. Will go again. PS Please have a 32 oz option for all drinks. Would be amazing! read more

They got good drink selections here and I like the low sugar options. Regular sweetness is not too sweet, which suits the asian taste buds. If you like your drink with normal sweetness, you might want to go for extra sweet. Great service and nice inside seating which makes it a great place to hangout! read more

The drinks are pretty good, and the price is pretty cheap compared to other boba places in the area. The interior is cute and clean. Service was nice and the workers were friendly. My biggest complaint is that they put barely any boba in their drinks! My thai milk tea said on the menu it came with boba, but I love pearls so I added extra, but when my drink came out there was barely any boba! Please put more boba and the review will be much better read more

Me and my boyfriend came across this boba shop and omg what a find. Their menu is extensive and has some INSANE drinks. We got the mango frappe to share with mochi and mango jelly and it was SO good, creamy and delicious. The workers were really friendly and the owner was so nice and took a pic of us in front of their big cat mural with moving google eyes!!! Such a cute spot, what a gem of a spot. If you're in lake forest and looking for a sweet treat spot, we highly recommend this place. read more

It was our first time visiting Boba Cucue, and we absolutely loved it! The drinks were delicious, and the people working there were genuinely kind and helpful. My son, who is autistic, had such a great time the whole staff was so sweet and encouraged him to keep trying to get a capybara from the toy machine. That small act of kindness meant so much to us. The place is beautifully decorated and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Had heard good things about this place and was happy I had the chance to try it! I had a party of 2…read morearound 2:30PM on a Sunday. There was a crowd of people waiting outside so I was a bit nervous that it would take really long. But we added our name to the waitlist on the iPad outside and we were sat in less than 30 minutes (when we went on the list, we were party 13). The wait went by super fast! By the time we finished our meal, there were lots of open seats. I first heard of this place as a "copycat Din Tai Fung". I actually think it's better to think of this place as another Taiwanese restaurant that serves similar food to DTF, but not a copycat. Although some of the popular items are the same (XLBs for example) the restaurants are definitely different. Firstly, the service here is SO FAST. And all the servers were really kind! We ordered our food and it felt like everything came out within MINUTES of each other. By the time we had all our savory dishes, I had only taken one bite out of the first dish. That's how fast it was! Haha We ended up ordering: Spicy XLBs, Beef Roll, Golden Prime Beef Noodle Soup, and Taro XLBs for dessert. Everything was DELICIOUS! My husband's favorite was the Beef Roll, while I think my favorite may have been the soup. The Spicy XLBs (4/5) were great! They felt quite large as I ALMOST had to eat them in two bites (but like why would I ever do that). Flavor was great and I thought there was actually very little spice in these. Compared to DTF'x XLBs, I thought these were just as juicy, but less ginger-forward (which made it feel less flavorful), and more sweet. I was personally missing some acid and wanted a bit more salt cuz it was a tad sweet. The Beef Rolls were pretty good too (4.25/5)! Nice and crispy. Even though it's pan fried, it felt light because of the vegetables. And I know this is weird to say, but the combination of beef, hoison sauce, and veggies almost tasted like pho flavors...but crispy? Yummy! I personally again wanted a bit more salt. But I'd definitely order again. Now for my favorite, the Golden Prime Beef Noodle Soup (4.5/5). WOOWWEEE! She's spicy! And I have a good spice tolerance so beware. I really loved the flavor of the broth. It was spicy and also had a really clean flavor. It looked like it would be a watery broth but WRONG! It was so flavorful. I loved the chewy noodles too and even the noodles on their own were spicy cuz they clung onto the broth. A really delicious soup! I'd love to eat this on a cold winter's day or when I'm sick. Delicious! The Taro XLBs (3.9/4) were pretty good too, but skippable. They weren't too sweet, which was nice. They had a lovely consistency and good taro flavor. But compared to everything else, they weren't that special. Overall, a really delicious restaurant! I'd definitely come here if I was craving XLBs/Taiwanese food.
