I've been meaning to make my way to Boba Queen for way too long... and now that I finally did, let me just say: worth the wait. First off, it's very inexpensive which is wild because the quality and flavor feel like they should come with a much higher price tag. The place is spotless too, which always sets the tone for a good meal. I went for a fruit tea with lychee jelly. Refreshing, light, and tasty. Sure, maybe a tad too much ice, but honestly, on a Florida day, that's not the worst thing in the world. But the real star here? The chicken curry with rice. DELECTABLE, all caps intentional. Most spots just let the curry sauce do the heavy lifting, drowning out any lack of seasoning on the meat. Not here. You can tell they season the meat properly, and when it meets the curry sauce, the flavors don't just mix, they straight up marry in your mouth. Culinary matrimony at its finest. The wait time was super reasonable, and I loved that the soundproof doors blocked out the constant hum of Colonial Drive. It makes the dining experience feel calm and almost hidden away. And honestly, I kind of hope it stays hidden... so I can keep it to myself. If you know, you know.
Onigiri, Japanese Curry, and Boba -- oh my! They have everything I love -- I can't tell you how many times I've waited here while my husband was getting his hair done or how often I've stopped by after having hot pot. Boba Queen is literally a gem; there are so few places in Orlando that serve onigiri, let alone Japanese curry, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and so many other yummy snack foods. The food is amazing!! I don't know how they do it, but I've loved every dish I've tried here. The milk tea here is so creamy and has a rich tea flavor -- they don't water it down here! They also cook the boba perfectly; it's chewy, sweet (but not overly sweet), and has the perfect texture. I only wish they had more seating! They have a few tables by the wall, but it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot.
Every time I have a trip or conference in Florida, I make sure to stop by Boba Queen. It is one if the few boba places in Orlando and offers some quick meals, as well. The place is very clean with many drink and quick meal options, and the staff is friendly and greets you upon entering. It's also very spacious inside with lots of seats. I got the taro milk tea with handmade taro balls and pork tonkotsu. I really like their taro milk tea with handmade taro balls. The drink is not too sweet, and I like the taro balls. They are not chewy as boba and are a bit denser, but I really enjoy them. The tonkotsu is crispy. They give about to slabs of fried tonkotsu and a big bowl of rice and some radish along with a sauce to dip it in. The tonkotsu tastes standard and good for the price point. Overall, I think this one of my favorite boba places in Orlando. The prices are good for the proportions, and they have a lot of options.
First time trying this place and im impressed with the food and milk tea. Im very picky with my milk tea because my family owns a milk tea store and food truck. The milk tea are so creamy and rich in flavor. The tapioca pearls are perfectly cooked! Not too soft and not mushy. The tonkatsu is very good! Crunchy and delicious! I wish they gave me more tonkatsu sauce. But overall it's tasty and fulfilling. Takoyaki, YUM!! Served hot and it's very tasty! One order will fill you up! Will definitely come back here with friends and I recommend this place for friends or family to have a small bonding time.
Enjoy coming here to get a quick boba drink. Plenty of drink options on their menu and everything seemed good so far. Recently I did try their grape yogurt drink with aiyu jelly and it was very delicious. They also do have food items on their menu and I did try their chicken curry katsu and it was yummy. Chicken was nicely fried and crispy. And their beef curry wasn't salty at all. Efficient staff and orders are made in a timely manner. Plenty of table and seats to enjoy their drinks and food.
A lovely little cafe in the plaza at the corner of kirkman and colonial. I had seen someone post of a FB group that they make Onigiri. Had to check theirs out. Honestly the best I have had in Orlando. Freshly made with a generous amount of spicy tuna inside. Felt like I was in a New York or Tokyo konbini, except super fresh. Other items on the menu caught my eye, like cuttle fish balls and other Japanese cooked food but for today I came for the onigiri, one of my favorite treats. The interior is quietly zen, especially the music.
I really good gem. I ordered the egg salad sando, katsu pork curry rice and taro milk tea with taro boba! This place did not disappoint! The amount of eggs in the sandwich was perfect. Some places do not put much. The curry was flavorful. The pork wasn't dried, cooked very well. Their homemade boba was the true star of my meal
This is one of my favorite boba spots in Orlando and I never fail to stop by when I'm in the area. Every time I come here, the boba is cooked perfectly; I've never had a bad experience in my years of patronage. It's very spacious and has a modern design, with seating spread out against the wall. The menu is quite large and they have a selection of food as well, which have been good from my experience. Another thing I appreciate about this place is that the workers are also always nice. I would probably go here everyday if it were located closer to where I lived!
Easily the best katsu curry I've had since we've been in Orlando. Boba Queen @ Kirkman & 408. Found this place completely by accident while trying to find Fruit Sandos for my wife. (Spoilers, they don't do them any more, but with the rest of their menu, they don't need it.) Also, the portion for the curry is huge. Not pictured are the Katsu Sando, Taro Eggette Waffle, and Tomato-spiced fries. All amazing. Everything was ridiculously delicious and got a 10/10 from the whole family.
Great drink flavors and choices. I like the ube taro drink. For food, we ordered the katsu platter, salmon onigiri and popcorn chicken. All were delicious. We will definitely go back!
If I were writing a review for their food, more specifically their curry, I would give this place 5 stars. However, that's not the case here. For a place called "boba queen" I would expect for their boba to be good. Unfortunately, the boba here was extremely over-sweetened, thick, and lacking a consistency that's even refreshing. I was craving boba and we decided to get if from here since we've had their food numerous times and have never been disappointed. The two I tried were highly recommended by their staff but what can I say, I couldn't even finish mine because all I could taste was mango purée. They were not cheap either and their tablet recommends 25% tip which ofc we gave but 25% is a lot specially when it's not a sit down restaurant.
It was ok, I ordered Chicken Katsu Curry and they gave me pork katsu curry, which was still good.... They put mushrooms in my curry though, YUCK! Not a fan of the mushrooms.. Otherwise I enjoyed the meal and place was nice

Just driving through the area and discovered how delicious brown sugar milk is!! Boba Queen has a clean and simple aesthetic, but what they do, they do very well. Many boba shops have been starting to use the smaller cups or making the amount of foam equal to the drink - there was nothing compromised in my order! All perfect! I really appreciated the employees who took the time to walk me through the numerous drinks and dishes that I hadn't seen at other boba tea spots in the area, and there are many on my list to enjoy in the future! read more
One of the BEST boba places in Orlando!!! I live pretty far from this plaza, but every time I visit here, whether it is to shop at Asian grocery store or grab food next door, I literally cannot go home without getting boba tea from this place! I only had the milk tea with cheese foam and taro boba, which is the only thing I would ever get in any boba tea shops. And this place, has one of the best! Their milk tea is has a strong tea flavor while not being overly rich. Salted cheese foam is super generously thick. Also taro boba is just SO good!! (They are the only place in Orlando I visited that has taro boba!) Their menu is more focused in new and unique creations like fruit teas, fresh milks, and brown sugar teas. I wish they extend their traditional milk tea line a little more. They only have one flavor of milk tea instead of jasmine milk tea, oolong milk tea, Ceylon milk tea, etc. to choose from. Overall still really good!! I'll prob continue my tradition of grocery shopping/grabbing food next door and getting boba tea for as long as this place exist! read more

Good things come to those who wait! They take their time to make your tea and your food and you can taste the quality of how they handle everything! So if you're in a rush, it's better to order online and then pick up your order. My personal favorites are the chicken katsu sandwich, eggette waffle with cream cheese filling, and their Taiwanese popcorn chicken! Sooooo good! I have yet to try a their extensive drink menu, but i personally love anything with taro and they have taro boba that they make in house, but they do sell out of it so order early!! read more

Spontaneously came here on a hot humid Sunday afternoon, as we needed something refreshing and this was just minutes away from us at the time. There was a short line ahead of us but nothing too crazy. Mango slush, taro milk tea, and grass jelly drink were all just alright; was not really a fan of the texture and seemed to have lack of flavor. Have not been back since. read more

Decided to check this place out while I was passing through the area. The passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly was very refreshing. It had an interesting after taste though. I also tried their egg sando and it was delicious!! So soft and fluffy! I definitely want to come back and try more of their milk teas and chicken katsu sandwich. The staff is friendly here. I don't understand why anyone would give high ratings for this place. This was definitely one of the worst boba tea places I've ever been to. Ordered Oolong Milk Tea with Boba, it tastes like paper, chocolate and sugar. No milk or tea flavor at all. The employee refused to make a new one because apparently they pre-made their drink and just poured it from a container when someone orders. read more

5 stars for my new favorite boba place in Orlando! I tried not to come here every weekend since I live far but man, it's THAT GOOD! All the boba and fruit drinks are fresh, AND the food are delicious. Their popcorn chicken is amazinggg! It's very tender and mouth-watery. Not heavy battered like other places. I also like their spicy tuna and salmon rice ball. The wrapping is so cute! Highly recommend the fruit tea. It's so refreshing! My family love seeing me come home with snacks from here. I always get extra since my nephew eats it all. It's fairly price and affordable. Definitely worth the drive! read more

I've been to Boba Queen at least 5 times sine I first discovered them two month ago. Very clean and inviting atmosphere and FANTASTIC food! I've tried almost all the food menu items and I haven't been let down once. My personal favorite items are the Katsu Chicken Sando, the Popcorn Chicken and the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice. read more
So randomly driving by and saw boba queen was opened so decided to venture in and see what it was all about. Upon walking in I was greeted by a very nice lady and a super cute baby. The restaurant is clean and very limited to none seating which is understandable as we are in a pandemic. I did like that everyone I saw had a mask on and sanitizer at the register. I ordered popcorn chicken, egg salad sandwich and beef gyoza. The popcorn chicken was seasoned very well and had a crunch to it. I would definitely recommend adding the cayenne on top if you like a little heat. Better than most places popcorn chicken....and I love popcorn chicken!!!! The egg salad sandwich was amazing, my favorite dish so far. The bread was soft and pillowy(is that even a word) and amazing!!! Egg spread was very flavorful but nothing about it was over powering. The gyoza was average, tasted store bought but cooked with a nice crisp and crunch. So yes, I did not try the boba queens boba...nothing sparked my interest. I'll definitely have to return to try a few more items and a drink. Overall, great experience and will definitely be returning soon. read more

I went to New Golden Sparkling for grocery shopping and picked up a milk tea to-go for my husband. I ordered online and the experience was fast and easy; the system said my drink will be ready in 20 minutes and I got to the shop a bit faster than that so they ended up making my drink on the spot but it only took a minute. The store is clean and well-decorated, there are also a few tables for dining in. Every adult behind the counter was wearing a face mask when I was there. It also seemed like they have a good selection of menu items that we are excited to try in our future visits. My husband loves their 3q milk tea, he ordered 50% sweetness and said it could use less sugar so the second time we ordered we went for 25% sweetness. Overall this is a decent milk tea shop and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. read more
I enjoyed our selections and the service was good :) Drinks and food were flavorful. I'm into presentation and I really liked their packaging. Only downside is how far they are from me :( The store itself was very clean, modern with simple decor. There were a couple of tables we sat at to eat but not sure how the setup will normally be (only been open for a couple of weeks). Will definitely visit again! read more

My first visit to Boba Queen was an A+. The shop is very clean and aesthetically appealing. Cute decor that's spaced out appropriately to encourage social distancing. It's nice and quiet so if you need a place to study with yummy snacks I totally recommend this place. I ordered the mango green tea and the egg salad sando, both were delicious. They were made quickly and brought to me at my table. The portion sizes are perfect too. I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu soon! Honestly, not my cup of tea. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I didn't really enjoy it at all. The boba was over cooked and very sweet. The tea was watery and not concentrated. I wouldn't order this again, maybe something else. I did see a ton of snack options that look good but I don't want to be disappointed. the food was super quality for the price. it was really clean inside. the staff is super friendly. I can't get over how good and warm all the food was! they truly make it to order. overall best quick meal in town would come again to try the nutella eggette, i got the taro one which was good. the crispy parts of the eggette are sooo yummy it was my first time trying one. the sando is so saucy and crispy and soft and fresh as well. i was surprised i got three halves of a sandwich as well! surprise! read more
Pretty solid boba spot with a nice selection of foods too including curry katsu and sandwiches. I got the oolong with honey boba and it was delicious. The drink itself had almost a chocolate taste to it which I found pleasantly suprising. Friend got the lychee green tea and enjoyed it as well. Will have to come again to try out the foods sometime. Also it's conveniently located next to Golden sparkling plaza so you can get your shopping in as well! read more

Very poor customer service. It was my first time coming here so I didn't know what green tea would be good, they recommended mango green tea and so I got it. I didn't like it so I asked if I could get something different in exchange for it and they said they can't do that. Where is the customer service in that? Not a great place, not impressed read more

This is one of the must try boba locations if you are ever in the Orlando location. I ordered the Thai tea with honey boba and it was phenomenal! The drink tasted great, you could actually taste the tea and the honey boba was soft and chewy. I finished it so quickly that I was tempted to order another drink. The cashier was friendly and recommended me popular drinks. I will most likely come back whenever I am in the Orlando area. This is one of the best boba spots in Orlando and you will not leave disappointed!! There is a reason why they are called Boba Queen! read more
Cute little spot that I have visited a few times. Their brown sugar boba tea is fantastic and very photo worthy. On both occasions I have ordered the pork Katsura sandwich and have enjoyed it both times. The pork is flavored well and crispy. The sandwich is always hot and fresh, as it is made to order. The sandwich holds well if you are unable to finish it. On both trips service has been good and the shop is clean. If you want to try something different, I recommend stopping by. read more

The eggette waffle with taro filling is the winner. The filling is like a taro paste, very subtle and the waffle itself is good amount of crispy and soft. I think a plain waffle will be my go to next time. Taro milk tea is too sweet (cannot adjust the sweetness like what you see at other stores) and the taro boba is a pleasant surprise! Oolong milk tea is good but the boba was kind of overcooked and was too mushy and not chewy. The store is very clean and service was friendly. read more

I just started going to this place a few weeks ago. I get the cream cheese strawberry green tea (I believe that's what it's called). It is sooooooooooooo good. Like literally amazing and refreshing. I was scared of the cream cheese foam at first, but decided to give it a try. Now ?! I ask for extra foam. It's absolutely amazing. I'm definitely a regular now. I post it on Snapchat every time I go and I get quite a few messages asking where is it located as well as saying it looks so good. I'm definitely a spokeswoman for this place. I haven't had anything else, although I do want to try their dessert. It a waffle with whatever choices they have that you can choose to go inside of it. They have other foods and drinks as well. Found out this place some weeks a go but this was first time trying their Popcorn Chicken and Fried King Mushrooms. It was good! Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Definitely a must try! They also have lots of other options of drinks and snacks. Next time I'll try their Japanese Curry Rice. Kind service and clean place. Great spot for Boba Teas and Asian snacks in the area. read more

Since my first review. I am now a regular here. Brown sugar milk is super good, their boba is sweet and has slightly aroma to it. If you like taro, try taro fresh milk with taro boba. You won't be dissapointed. Boba Queen, you still nail it. GREAT job. read more

I normally don't write reviews about customer service unless it's positive since to me reviews should be about the food. But in this case the customer service was so bad or awful because of how it made me feel. My husband and I walked in together with a mask on. I asked the lady at the register about what made the drink I was looking at slushy since it was a coffee drink. She leaned back and rolled her eyes and said it's just this and that. I was like okkkee, wow! I was only asking to find out how it was made to determine if I wanted it. I decided to take the high road and stay in a positive mood so I thanked her for her information. I ordered the strawberry green tea instead. She immediately punched it in and with a hurry up face look and turned the machine around for me to pay and told me my tab. I'm like wahoo can my husband who came in with me and standing next to me now make an order too? But I took the high road again and smiled under my mask and said to her no, my husband will be ordering too. Every time he told her an item he wanted she did the same thing like hurry up and pay. So three times we were given a total like she couldn't get us out the way quick enough. All I'll say this made me feel truly like I am not wanted here. This is an assumption: If you are of another ethnicity than Asian you may not be welcomed here either. The folks behind us ordering wasn't rushed. Just saying. My tea has more of a perfume taste to me. Not good or bad. Loved the eggette with cream cheese. My rating is totally about how I felt here not to speak anything negative about the products here. read more
