You can never go wrong with Jeni's ice cream. The seasonal key lime pie flavour was out of this world. I happened to go on a Monday with no line then I came back on a Friday and there line was out the door, ha. But always worth the wait! Love all the yummy flavours and options to take home choices in quarts too.

Exceptional ice cream place that has a unique and possibly patented way of making ice cream that melts differently than normal ice cream. Also they had a promotion or collab with the show Bridgerton and a line of royalty-themed or named ice creams. Interior is pretty cool (get it) and spacious, and service is great at a counter. Beverages like Ginger Ale and Root Beer from Boylan Bottling Co. also available. Check it out!

Came across this ice cream shop while in the area and had to give it a try on a nice sunny day. They offer a wide variety of flavors, including dairy-free and gluten-free options, which is a huge plus. They even have a special collaboration ice cream for the Bridgerton series. I sampled the Queen Charlotte sponge cake, which was incredibly delicious. I decided to go with the seasonal tropical bloom, which was refreshing and incredibly tasty. And of course, I couldn't resist their popular gooey butter cake! Yum! While their prices are slightly higher than regular ice cream shops, I found them to be well worth it. Plus, if you fall in love with one of their flavors, you can take some pints to enjoy later at home. The ladies at the store were super friendly, and they told us we could try as many flavors as we wanted. The overall place is super cute, simple, and well put together. Can't wait to come back.

We recently dropped by after having dinner next door. My wife has been wanting to try this place for some time. She loves the ice cream options in Austin and wanted to try this place. I shared the Strawberry Shortcake Parfait with hers. It was delicious. My son had the Dark Chocolate and loved it. The atmosphere has a hip vibe to it with cool music. The staff is very helpful and will give you samples. The ice cream was delicious. We will definitely come back again.

Good ice cream, nice staff, and a clean yet modern environment. My husband got two of the best sellers, Gooey Butter Cake and Brown Butter Almond Brittle. They were really good. I got the Strawberry Shortcake Parfait and that was okay.

Jeni's is my favorite ice cream. I love the ooey gooey butter cake flavor. Right now they have opaque ice cream to try - which is a cool flavor. You can try whatever flavor you want and as many flavors as you desire.

Although I've heard good things about this place in regards to their unique flavors, this was my first time visiting the store. The guy helping me was very pleasant and helpful. He offered to let me do some sampling, however, one sample and I knew what I wanted. I ended up getting two scoops of the brown butter almond brittle ice cream. It's a little pricey in comparison, but it tasted oh so good. I'll be trying other flavors.

Had a craving for ice cream after Pilates. Now I've heard plenty about Jeni's from patrons here in Dallas. I have compared this to Salt n Straw back in L.A. this is as close as I've come to hold ice cream with unique ingredients. I'm used to having something on the ranks of shiney Lavender and Sea Salt and Caramel Ribbons, but this place was a good start to my ice cream spot back at home. You are allowed to sample and get a small standard size if you don't want large scoops of ice cream. I enjoyed the Gooey Butter Cake. The line moves rather quickly, the ice cream shop was clean, good music, and the servers were amazing with their recommendations. I will definitely be back , I can see this spring and summer being really busy here.

Brown butter almond brittle is my favorite!

The flavors are very unique and very rich. There's no bad flavor. The staff was very friendly and didn't rush me to make a choice.

My mother and I were craving ice cream after eating at Shake Shack next door. Jeni's was opened next door so we decided to check them out. It's a cute and clean ice cream store with many ice cream flavors. The worker at the counter was patient with us and gave us many flavor recommendations. I ended up getting honey vanilla bean, double dough, and bramble berry crisp in a waffle bowl. All the flavors were delicious and the half scoops were perfect for those who want to get ice cream without getting too full (or those who have some room for desserts after eating at the other restaurants in the area). The waffle bowl in particular was a little salty to balance out the sweetness of the ice cream. It was thin and easy to snap off. The cashier lady was extremely bright and energetic too. Just an overall great ice cream place with great vibes. The only advice I would give to new customers or those who haven't been here in a while is to go down the line to see the different flavors. Each section and worker helping out different customers largely have the same flavors BUT there are a few flavors that aren't in the section of the person helping you out. Go down the line to see what other flavors Jeni's has because there was one I wanted to try/get near the cash register that wasn't in the cooler at the front of the line next to the waffle station.

It was actually pretty crowded when we came in on Saturday around 5:30 PM. There were only 4 small tables inside and we got the last one, but there was plenty of bench area available. There are also outdoor seating (for when it gets cooler). The interior was brightly lit and gave off a colorful vibe. They have a lot of ice cream flavors. Some were overpoweringly sweet, while others aren't while still being flavorful. You can sample any flavor before ordering. The ice cream comes in your choice of waffle cone, waffle bowl, or regular paper bowl. They say "half scoop" on the menu, but their half scoop totally looked like a normal full scoop and then some. I think they call it a "half scoop" to make your conscience feel better. All of their flavors are available to-go in pint sized containers. We ordered the sweet potato marshmallow praline and darkest chocolate flavors in a regular paper bowl. Both turned out pretty good. The former tasted like it had pumpkin spice which was a nice surprise.

LOVELY SERVICE!! We came here for the 1st time, and our group had such a great time! We loved the ice cream! IT WAS SO CREAMY AND LUXURIOUS! The birthday cake was out of this world! My friends all enjoyed their flavors too. The worker helping us was so sweet and was so patient with all our questions! We will be back!

I came in for my birthday ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Jeni's gives you 3 half scoops, which is really just 3 full scoops. Sabir (hope I got the spelling correct) helped me try and pick out my flavors and was so friendly. Thanks, Jeni's, for helping me celebrate my birthday!

Next time, we'll probably save Creamistry for special occasions and choose a more budget-friendly place for an everyday dessert outing. Overall, the ice cream was fresh, creamy, and flavorful, and the experience was great. If you're looking to splurge on a unique dessert, I'd definitely recommend giving Creamistry a try!

Holy mother of Moses... I could eat that Nutella nitro ice cream every single day. No regrets. The place wasn't too busy, but we did have to wait a bit--some bigger groups were ahead of us, waiting on their frozen delight. While we waited, we started chatting with one of the groups and found out we shared a birthday! After we got our glorious ice cream, we sat outside and that same group came out and asked me to take a photo of them. Then their mom took a photo of me and her son--because, you know, birthday twins! It was such a sweet moment. I love connecting with strangers, and we were laughing so hard it made the whole experience even better. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed--nice, but short on words and not super chatty. Still, they got the job done and handed me my Nutella masterpiece, so I'm not mad. I love love my ice cream made this way. It's my absolute favorite. It doesn't melt as fast as regular ice cream, and watching them make it is half the fun. I actually passed this place the other day and thought... maybe it's a sign I should go back? So yes--you must try it. Yes--I'll be back. And no--I'm not interested in any other flavor than Nutella. Hahahaha I said what I said.

Pretty standard ice cream joint…read more My first impression of this place was that it was a little hard to find, as I didn't realize that it would be connected to Great American Cookie. Other than that, the ice cream is what you can expect from any other ice cream place: cold, creamy, and delicious. They do have a variety of flavors that they let you sample before purchasing. I personally got the chocolate birthday cake flavor, which tasted more like milk chocolate than anything else. My cone came out to be around ~5$, and I felt that I could have gotten the same ice cream at another place for less. They do have mix-ins and speciality cones at this location, which maybe would have made the experience more worthwhile, however if you're just looking for plain ice cream this place is just OK.

So it turns out that they had sold my birthday cake to someone else. I told them if they could remake it because I needed it that day. I had told her to please keep it in the back because I don't want them to sell it again accidentally. The lady told me it would take at least 2 hours to remake but she said they would call me once it was ready. I waited over 2 hours and I didn't get a call. I called them and it was a different lady, she told me that the cake was ready so I drove down to go get it. Once I got there I told this new lady I was picking up my remade cake and she told me to go get it in the main fridge in the front. I had told her that it was a mistake because my cake was supposed to be kept in the back fridge. But she told me no (in a rude tone) and that she made it and put it in the front because it was going to get busy and she didn't want to have to go all the way to the back to get my cake. Also this new remade cake did not have a label for the second time. I'm 100% sure that this is same lady who sold my original cake because she doesn't listen to directions and she is also rude. The first lady actually tried to help me and she was confused why anyone would even put the order cakes in the front and told me that they aren't supposed to do that. I am very disappointed in how long it took me to get my birthday cake and also how frustrating the process was.

That location's been a lot of things before, so maybe I should've known better, but I'm always curious when a place is dedicated to donuts. The ambience was fun. lots of pink, definitely Instagram-friendly. But then I saw a huge dead fly on the floor. Not trying to blame them, it was behind a tall glass serving station, so they probably didn't see it, but still, not a great first impression. The regular-sized donuts looked super fake, like they were drowning in frosting and sugary toppings. It was giving more "display case" than "edible." So, I went for four of the smaller ones, hoping variety might redeem the experience. But even then, I couldn't find four that looked genuinely appetizing. I settled on two chocolate and two Nutella, figuring Nutella's a safe bet. I took them to go and tried the Nutella one home, aaaannndddd I was disappointed. It was chewy in a stale kind of way, not the good kind. I had to grab milk just to get through it. I almost called to say something, but it was Friday, I was having a good day and didn't want to kill the vibe. I paid about $10 total (donuts, tax, tip) and just chalked it up as a lesson learned. My spouse had the chocolate ones and said they were "fine"--but he's not picky, so take that with a grain of sugar . Maybe they were just having an off day, but I won't be going back to find out.
