Odd... I tried to book them for a quick move and when I tried to call the number on their invoice to confirm the date, time and other relevant information, a woman picked up, said "No, no English..." and immediately hung up...LOL Puzzled, I double-checked the number on the Emailed quote and it was indeed correct. I immediately Emailed and cancelled. That was a serious RED FLAG. It did not stop there. The day of my move, guess what? They called to "confirm our 10:00..." I had to tell the person who called (he spoke ENGLISH) that I cancelled weeks ago. He seemed disoriented and clearly not organized. "Prohands?" More like "NO HANDS" LOL Coincidentally, I speak Spanish, among other languages so that whole thing was lame begining to end. Translation (for the woman who said "No English" and hung up on me ...LOL) Qué raro... Intenté contratarlos para una mudanza rápida y, cuando llamé al número que aparecía en su factura para confirmar la fecha, la hora y otros datos importantes, me contestó una mujer diciendo "No, no English..." y colgó de inmediato... ¡jajaja! This was my first time using a moving company and I'm honestly disappointed. As a small business owner, I always want to support other small businesses but I wish for this move I had gone with a more reputable company. The movers were as quick as they could be given the moving dynamics (apartment with elevator, 30-40 minute drive) but once we were at the new place, so much of my new home is damaged from the move, and they only offered to take off $25 from the moving fee. There is a hole in the wall and scrapes EVERYWHERE all the way up my stairs and surrounding walls from moving my armoire, my door handle was broken during the process, my lamp was broken, and my deep freezer is now not working and I bought it brand new from Sam's Club just 2 months ago. The movers themselves were very nice, punctual, communicative, all the things. But I'm very upset that I was only offered $25 off when I now have so much work to do and a freezer chest to replace!! I chose this company obviously for the rate, but sometimes you really get what you pay for. Management did not seem to care, and I even tipped the guys that moved me. As much as I'd like to recommend this company, I do not because you will not be compensated for their many damages, and management will brush you off! read more

I recently used this company for my move, because someone referred them to me. Obviously everyone's experience will be different and my experience was not what I expected considering. They arrived almost an hour LATE, they moved a bit slow, I could tell they didn't know how to pack the uhaul truck the right way, they damaged two of my items, they TRIED TO LEAVE 5 MINUTES BEFORE ME to head to my new place AND THEY ARE TWO OF THE MOST SKINNIEST MOVERS I ever saw! I would give them zero. I sent in a request to you to try and recoup my monies and damages. I also have photos. Not only was I quoted 3 hours but the young men in a u haul truck took almost seven hours and placed my refrigerator door where it fell on my leg leaving sore and bruised. They left my house to go to new location five minutes ahead of me and arrived 15 plus minutes after me. They did not put mirror back on dresser and bent the rails on my bed and left a stick that came off bed somewhere plus it took them over an hour to load the new fridge I brought with ne. I requested at least an hour discount and she gave me 30 minutes bringing my bill to $750.00 more than double what I was quoted. Then when I asked for receipt, she said confirm quote and I did and still no receipt other than my cashapp showing I paid her. Very unprofessional and I regret choosing them from the yelp site. If I could give 0 stars I would. I got scammed out of my service and money. Everything was packed upon their arrival. The only thing they needed to do was put it all in the truck and move it 30 minutes away. One of the workers told me immediately that after 3 hours I can pay to have them help out longer. I said I don't think it'll take longer than 3 hours cause everything is packed. So they decided to work and move extremely slow. They didn't take half of my things. Just a few of what needed to be transported. I spoke to the "manager" and he said they would be back to move the rest of my stuff. They never showed back up and ignored all of my calls and texts. The guys moving were nice but aren't as efficient as I was told. A move that could have taken 1hr maybe 1.5, took 2. Also, beware it's $125 per hour at a 3hr minimum.. even small jobs. it only took 2hrs and the 3hr min wasn't clear so I paid $125 extra for nothing. A tool was taken out of the house without my knowledge and needed to be returned after calling. read more

Luckily I chose ProHands Relocation not only did they pack my things onto my storage containers, they packed my house! I searched for movers to unload the truck that was driving cross country to deliver my furnishings. I did not know any movers where I moved to. Prohands was one of the companies that responded right away. I wasn't sure when my truck would reach me but Prohands assured me they were up to the task. At the last minute I had to have them come and unload. We discussed a time and they arrived. They immediately began working and did not stop until the job was done. They unloaded the truck, carried sofas and tons of boxes up 16 stairs, did not complain, assembled beds, dressers and mirrors all with a smile. Thank you Prohands.
