I tried my first ever Mochi Donuts here at Bobadochi, and they were enjoyable! Friendly service by the staff member, but the ordering experience was kinda strange. I verbally ordered what I wanted, but was told I still had to go onto the digital payment device to then select which flavors I had requested, add them to the cart, and then pay for them. In order to check out I also had to provide my full first and last name, phone number, and email address which felt unnecessary, inconvenient, and over the top. The person helping us was friendly, and the donuts were good, but the processes put in place by the business to order and purchase made it a sub-par experience. read more

We tried the strawberry and ube coconut. The strawberry wasn't overly sweet and perfectly chewy, delicious. I stepped away to make a reservation, and the ube coconut was gone. My wife said it yummy. Lol read more

Cute little mochi doughnut kiosk by the food court in Washington Square mall. I love that there is a place in the mall for one of my favorite desserts. The display is beautiful and I was helped quickly. The doughnut was served in a cute box and I took another as a gift for a friend. The taste and texture was good but it could be more fresh. I did come late in the day and that may be why it was not as tasty. Will be back to try again. read more

Heard about this kiosk from a friend who was raving about their donuts so I knew I had to try some during my next mall visit. It's great that they offer samples so you can try them and order the ones you like. We got a Pistachio Cream, Matcha Strawberry Crunch, and Ooobe donuts. My favorite was the Ooobe which is an ube donut with ube and white chocolate glaze. I was surprised by how spot on the texture of the donuts are; they are soft and chewy but also light and airy. The glaze can be a bit sweet but it compliments the less sweet dough very well. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be coming back for more. read more

This place continues to impress us! We love stopping by when we visit the mall. I love how they have rotating flavors as well. Bonus: you're able to sample some of their flavors! Delicious treats | excellent service This is a new treat to come to the mall! Delicious mochi donuts that aren't dry or heavy on the mochi dough. It's not oily like the other places I've tried. It has a nice chewy mochi bite with good icing. I loved my ooobe! We also picked the chocolate, matcha, and glazed. We will definitely come back! Order on the pads and the lady will quickly put your order together. She is so, so sweet! She gave my daughter an extra mochinut! They just opened this past week. They have great flavors. Fresh to the Washington Square Mall, very excited to try some bomb mochi donuts! I also was able to meet the owner, Sunny, and she was super nice and made sure I was taken care of. They have other locations and this is more of a small kiosk where you order in on the computer, but everything was still fresh and delicious- It's right at the top of the escalators food court area so you can't miss it. We got to try their newest concoction, Dubai chocolate . . Sweet baby it was delicious. The chocolate is to-die for. I also got the ube coconut crumb and was so good! My son brought these over for our Sunday dinner a week ago. He said the owner and her daughter were both so sweet and he wanted to support local businesses. Our entire family loved these mochi donuts! Every flavor he brought was devoured and he brought quite a few. Today I got to taste the s'mores and a special donut with Dubai chocolate. Both were amazing! They have two other locations but this one only sells the mochi donuts. If you've never tried it, they are in the food court in Washington Square, right off the escalators. Once you try them, you'll want to try more! They have a couple other locations with a new one coming to Bridgeport. I can hardly wait! read more

One of the best mochi donuts I've had. It's soft and just the right amount of chewy. Flavors are good. Matcha and dark chocolate were one of the favorites. Also got korean hotdog which is worth a try as well. The batter is not too thick and the hotdog actually tastes good. It's not like the others that's tasteless. I got the buldak k-hotdog. It wasnt spicy and had good crunch cause of the noodles. I haven't tried their boba yet but will be going back to try the other items on menu for sure. Service was good. Took awhile to get the k-hotdog but I am also thinking the owner was training the staff how to make it properly. The store is clean and well put together. There's a few seats on the side where you can eat a bit or just go outside and eat your food by the little patio area in the corner. Overall, MUST TRY SPOT! We came here optimistic from the good reviews. We got a black sesame, ube crumble and an espresso donut. The ube lacked ube flavor in my opinion and was quite sweet. The espresso donut was our favorite overall, balanced with semisweet chocolate, the black sesame though was disappointing and had an oily taste that left an aftertaste similar to mold. Overall an okay experience and friendly staff. read more

We were so happy to see there's a new Bobadochi Kiosk in the food court of Washington Square right by the escalators. We've been to their locations in Salem and Woodburn and we hear they are bringing one to Bridgeport in January! They have the best mochi donuts around and are very thoughtful about bringing in new flavors and seasonal choices but do keep our great original favorites. In their store locations they have also have some great Boba Tea and Corn Dog options. So Yummy you've got to try them all. read more
